Absolutely disgraceful

Absolutely disgraceful. I would give 0 stars but not possible. How is it that whenever I try to reach a live customer support "they are too busy" - AT ALL TIMES OF THE DAY. I have completed my emigration form as I am leaving Netherlands for good and want to have a clear confirmation that VinkVink knows this so they don't charge me for no reason. How can I get a hold of a HUMAN person to help me?! This is absolutely disgraceful and no excuse for what they call "competitive" pricing when you can't even reach 1 human customer support via live chat. The bot is absolutely USELESS, i've never seen such an useless bot ever in my life. I am seriously thinking of filing a complaint to the Health Insurance Complaints and Disputes Committee.

They told me I’m not qualified for…

They told me I’m not qualified for insurance then told me they made a wrong decision and decided by themselves to insure me more than a month later. Because if they decision I had to pay back 400 euros in Zorgtoeslag. The name of the agent was Yvonne. And of course when I told her this she stopped replied and she just proceeded and make my policy a month earlier than I asked.

Terrible client service who think they…

Terrible client service who think they sit behind facebook or other social media platform while working.
I sent them 3 or 4 emails about my cancelation and registration elsewhere and they kept sending only an invoice with automated deductions!!
I believe I need to address my lawyer with equity abuse

STAY CLEAR!

What a joke of a company. I have been billed for the wrong concept not once but TWICE in the same month. And that is in addition to being charged TWICE for the correct amount. I suspect that the "live agents" are also chatbots, or just extremely incompetent people with no intend for helping you. I received different responses with different rationales for the double charges and the incorrect charges. I WILL be taking this to the authorities.

No cover for medical cost

They deliberately avoid contracts with most well-known clinics.
As a result, they don’t cover the majority of medical expenses and simply reject claims under the excuse of your contribution.
On top of that, they are the only insurer that does not offer a pregnancy package.
In reality, they exploit clients by providing nothing more than a worthless piece of paper called “Basic Health Insurance.”

The worst insurance company ever.

The worst insurance company ever.
They charge me for everything every time I go to the doctor.
You can’t get in touch with them it’s impossible.
If you need anything, you have to send letters by post.
And after that, they don’t solve anything.
They should be shut down.
The worst choice of my life.

Extremely Disappointed with Vink Vink Insurance – Hidden Costs and Poor Communication

Absolutely awful experience with Vink Vink insurance. I was charged €50 for a simple blood test, which was ordered by my GP — something that should be standard care. Nowhere was it clearly explained that this would fall under my own risk, and no one bothered to inform me upfront.

This kind of non-transparent communication feels like a trap — you only find out when you get the bill. It’s completely unacceptable for a health insurance provider to be this unclear about coverage, especially for basic medical procedures. AS STUDENT 50 EUROS ITS A LOT FOR ME,

I feel ripped off and let down. If you're considering Vink Vink: think twice.

Thank you for your comprehensive review. Understandable that as a student you are shocked by such a bill.

I read that you know what the costs are for (blood test) and why you have to pay these costs (compulsory deductible, verplicht eigen risico). Your frustration is mainly in that you would have liked to know in advance that there would be additional costs. We only know that there are costs when we receive a claim from healthcare providers. So we can't inform you any sooner than that. I do understand that you didn't like our bill, but I think you would have liked to have been informed by your health care providers (primary care physician) even before the examination.
Too bad to read that you look at us on it, when these costs would have been incurred with any health insurance company.

Insurance cancelled without informing

My insurance got automatically terminated when my temporary contract of employment finished. I did not receive any notification about this at the time or warning so that I could have taken action and updated my details with my new employment contract. I actually ended up going 4 whole months without realising this and being uninsured, only finding this out when I went to take a blood test and the nurses told me my insurance did not seem to be valid anymore.

Everyone in the Netherlands is required to have a private insurance, so it really did not make any sense that my insurance got terminated without any warning based on the employment contract I had when I got the insurance.

As a result, I changed to another health insurance company, as VinkVink customer support was not even able to reactivate the old insurance, but would have required me to go through the whole insurance application process again.

Thank you for your review. I understand you were unpleasantly surprised at the blood test that you were no longer insured. I wouldn't like that either.

If you are required to be insured in the Netherlands based on your employment contract, your health insurance will automatically run up to and including the end date on the employment contract. This will be reported when you confirm your registration. You will also usually receive proof of deregistration one month before the end. Also, you probably won't have had a direct debit for a while.

Has your employment contract been extended? Then you can send your extended employment contract to us via chat (live chat is available weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.). This again lets us know that your insurance obligation continues and allows us to insure you. Usually this can be done consecutively to your previous insured period. If so, you can also claim your used health care expenses retroactively.

They literally took 300 euros off my…

They literally took 300 euros off my account for no reason, i havent seen the doctor in 2 years! i am trying to get the issue resolved but there is NO way to contact them, even the chatbox isnt working VERY bad service please beware

UPDATE: they replied to this to make it seem like they care but the contact button still does not work on their website, and they took another 290 from me this morning. I am debating taking this to the police but have no idea how all of that would work, im feeling very defeated

Vink vink is a scam. Nothing else, there’s no way of communication with them because they don’t answer. There’s no reimbursement, only excuses. Don’t get scammed!
