Worst Customer Service ... Ever
As a seller, when things go wrong, don't expect to get any compensation. I just lost over 300 EUR on an item lost in transit. The process for seeking compensation is vague and its easy to make a mistake, and then Vinted says sorry, we cannot help you.
My recommendation, don't sell anything worth more than 5 EUR or whatever price you're not willing to write-off. Even better, move to a different platform, which is exactly what I plan to do.
As a buyer, be aware that scammers are active on this platform and Vinted is unwilling to take action. I was almost taken in by a scammer selling a high value item, however they would only accept payment via PayPal 'friends and family' where there is no opportunity to claim a refund ... big red flag. When I informed Vinted, presented the evidence that the seller was openly advertising that payment could not be accepted via Vinted (a clear violation of the Vinted policy), their response was 'no action will be taken'. The same scammer appeared the next day, selling the same item from another fake account!

Be careful, it's full of fraudulent profiles!
It's full of fraudulent ads and fake profiles and when I report them the site team tells me that it doesn't violate the community rules. 😅🤣🤣 I wouldn't risk shopping on this site since its team is so naive! I don't recommend it! 👎👎👎

Can’t disable certain delivery methods…
Can’t disable certain delivery methods when they don’t work for you. I don’t have a printer and the option is to spend over a € to print the label when the item being sold is only got €2. But then if the sale is cancelled there’s an automated bad review. If I had a better option I wouldn’t use Vinted.
