I listed a Zara vest and they blocked me, accusing me of fraud. It has been over a month now. I sent them the invoice and everything they asked for, and I still haven’t received any reply. The problem is that I can no longer access my messages or my wallet. This app is truly a scam

I posted 8 items May 31st with pictures of sizes, tags and everything. I sold two of the items the same day. Everything was going well and I was falling in love with Vinted. After I changed the prices on two pairs of shoes, I was permanently banned for fraudulent activity and counterfeit items. I was VERY upset to even have those allegations associated with my character. The customers paid for the items, received them and the sales were completed. They were satisfied and I received payment within two days. Now I'm trying to figure out how this is fraudulent and counterfeit?????? With the reviews that are being posted, this seems to be a common practice with this company. Additionally, I can't even get feedback from the two buyers because my account is permanently banned. Hopefully they will see my review. Terrible!
Absolutely terrible
Absolutely terrible. Impossible to speak to a human and they do not even look at your case responsibly. I ordered an air fryer from a seller and it arrived damaged to the point of being dangerous to use. I complained that day and they claimed they were looking into it. The seller did receive an email as he kept asking what’s happening. Suddenly the account reported order completed. They had released funds to the seller £55 without recourse to me. It was clearly couriers fault as they had accepted the item for delivery and deemed it satisfactory I’ll wrapped, but then dropped it. Vinted is fraudulent in their claim to look after the interests of the buyer. Be warned. All you get is a bot sending the usual standard dishonest statements.
No help for buyers
No customer service and the transaction is closed too quickly. After I received the shoes, they looked good but I didn't "inspect" them for several days. Waited for the weekend to take them out of the box to spray with fabric protector and noticed they were not as great as the 1 picture the seller posted. By then it was too late to rate the item. I contacted the seller and was not impressed. Sellers don't even give detailed descriptions. Vinted is trying to be a major ebay competitor but with no buyer resources, it's not going to happen. I did purchase a bottle of Perry Ellis perfume and that transaction went well, but I won't use Vinted for clothing or shoes.

package arrived pop up kept getting in the way, i accidently hit yes when the day the package was dropped off many states away and it was still in transit. there was no way to undo this recieved notice. I received notification that it was delivered and no package in front and the tracking disappeared. emailed vinted and it takes 48 hours for AI to respond.. Unbelievable and so annoying. Now my buyer protection period is over because I accidently hit that received pop-up and could not undo it. so annoying....
No guarantee of payment! Never again!
I was excited to sell my nice clothes & shoes on the Vinted app but not anymore. I sold a very nice blouse & per USPS the item was delivered but the buyer canceled the order afterwards & I never got paid, nor did I get my item back and no help from Vinted customer care. I will be removing my items from the platform ASAP!
Unethical practices of Vinted
I recieved damaged items in the post. Vinted ruled the seller did not package the items correctly. However, Vinted said in order for me to get a refund I had to return the damaged and non damaged items back to the seller. When doing so they also requested I had to make sure that the items were packed correctly which means I will have to buy an additional box and wrapping which I believe was highly unfair. They are also asking me to send back broken ceramics which I believe is dangerous to do so as could injure postal staff. Despite not being at fault in anyway, I am now going to be out of pocket for having to pay for additional packaging to return the items to the seller who packaged them inappropriately in the first place, which led to them being damaged. Despite Vinted ruling the seller was at fault, having paid buyer protection I am now effectively being asked to spend additional money correcting the consequences of the seller’s inadequate packaging. This decision is unfair and unethical.

If I could give 0 stars I would. No tracking info or proof of delivery sent. Just an email from Vinted saying it was delivered and I had 48 hours to confirm. I couldn’t mark - there is an issue - because I was not home to check. I messaged the seller who said ok to confirming the following day. No item received. Ask Vinted for help. Zero help offered just - computer says no. Vinted is fine for small inexpensive items but for items over £100 when you are forced to pay for pointless buyer protection also, it’s not worth it. Vinted wouldn’t even help me track the item. Just completely washed their hands of it the issue and refused to raise a complaint about their handling of the issue when I asked them to raise the complaint. Awful company.

How this company is still in business is crazy. Someone needs to look into customers feedback and hold Vinted responsible for their bad performance!

One of the worst customer service experiences ever.
My item was flagged as fraudulent by their “team” (AI) and when disputing this by providing the valid evidence, receipts, authentication tags, etc. The item get’s rejected as I did not provide enough evidence, even though you are restricted to only 15 photos.
When further trying to dispute this as I did provide enough evidence, the “team” provided the exact same copy and paste response.
If you are looking to sell clothes avoid this app at all costs, the people behind vinted do not care, and will not help you.

I never was trying to sell counterfeit items.
What a joke!
It's ok when you have to buy from someone. But, you'll never be able to sell something for the right price. buyers are usually sharks, looking to buy stuff for a very low price. Many many many scalpers / resellers or people that makes an offer and then immediately ghost you. There should be a way to report and ban people that are not paying after they made an offer. I have listings full of these people, and at some point you have to give away stuff for free or move to other platforms.
I have now reported a guy that's making fake offers, and vinted said that he's not guilty, so, he can keep ghost people and make fake offers.
What a joke, there's not even a way to report someone for ghosting or fake offers i'll close my account, useless app!!!
They block your account for no reason…
They block your account for no reason and steal your money. Even if you contact them to claim what is rightfully yours, they keep replying with the same automated response. Be careful and protect yourselves from being scammed by this app.

Terrible customer service!
I had been using the app for just over a week and everything was going well, all 5 star reviews but suddenly I got a ban for selling counterfeit items?!? They are Pokémon cards and 100% real, pulled from packs from legit shops! I had wasted hours listing over 350 cards one by one for an AI bot to decide one was fake and permanent ban me! If I was selling fakes I would hardly be selling £1-£2 cards would I! Pokemon cards sell for £1000s so I think I would be aiming for them ones if I was!
I've appealed and heard nothing back, I've emailed and basically been told to go away. I have a parcel sitting ready to send but can't send or even let the buyer know why! The whole system and customer service is appalling! Maybe you should treat your customers a bit better Vinted! Without them you are nothing!

The worst selling platform on the internet today. They blocked ans banned my account for absolutely not reason. 68 days later ans still waiting for a reply from customer service. Go tor Depop instead. They are much easier to use.. Vinted is done.

The worst customer service ever
The worst customer service ever. I did more than 600 transactions with Vinted. I can confirm that they are not able to fix any issues that would occur in their system, not even a tiny one, like to update the status of a delivery. Most of the answers they give contradict their own rules. Once, in a situation with a counterfait item, they even admitted that they were not respecting their own procedure, still not reparing the situation. It's always you to pay or too loose money, never them. I wish another Vinted platform, with a proper CS will be built...
