Their „customer service“ is a mess. Answering by using templates. Do not answer of what I actually inquired about. I have sent a package to a „buyer“ and she had not picked it up. All that effort for nothing. I wanted to rate this person which is not possible allegedly because for this to do the transaction should be successful? I see also several ratings on this persons profile regarding the same issue. Parcel not picked up but a review was left. Even from Vinted themselves! But I get all the time the same templates as an answer from multiple customer service associates.

There were many clothes in my closet that I could not wear. But I came across Vinted. I can sell and I can buy new things even cheaper. Everything is under control by Vinted. Thank you Vinted.

Ik had bij Vinted een advertentie geplaatst en die wordt weer verwijderd omdat de foto van internet was gehaald maar deze heb ik zelf gemaakt en dat heb ik ook gemeld en na vele woordwisselingen is de advertentie weer terug geplaatst en een paar dagen later wordt hij weer verwijderd om een onduidelijk reden. Ik heb toen weer een advertentie geplaatst en toen werd mijn account geblokkeerd voor 5 dagen. Er werd gevraagd of ik een Pro account wou openen en dan kon ik onbeperkt advertenties erop zetten, dat heb ik gedaan. Ik had weer wat advertenties erop gezet en toen werd mijn account alweer geblokkeerd omdat het leek dat ik een handelaar was of zoiets.

Ik vind Vinted waardeloos en respectloos tegen gebruikers.

Er stond nog een advertentie op van een USB stick (die al geblokkeerd was) die in de categorie USB sticks was geplaatst en deze is ook verwijderd omdat hij in de Home categorie stond. Maar gelukkig was het account al geblokkeerd (ha ha).

Ik heb ook bij Vinted aangegeven dat er verschillende advertenties zijn waar illegaal spul (bewijsbaar) wordt aangeboden maar deze advertenties worden niet verwijderd. Het lijkt er op dat er een stel kleuters voor Vinted werken!

Ik wil dat mijn Pro account verwijderd wordt omdat:

* mijn advertentie van een afstandsbediening verwijderd wordt terwijl er vele afstandsbedieningen aangeboden worden (discriminatie).
* Ik wil dan mijn Pro account per direct verwijderd wordt incl. foto's van mijn rijbewijs!
* Er is geen (normale) communicatie mogelijk met Vinted!
Mijn Pro account is na 1 dag al voor 6 dagen geblokkeerd (door advertentie afstandsbediening) wat geheel onbegrijpelijk is.

I placed an ad on Vinted, but it was removed because the photo was taken off the internet. I took it myself, and I reported it. After much discussion, the ad was put back up, only to be removed again a few days later for no apparent reason. I then placed another ad, and then my account was blocked for five days. They asked if I wanted to open a Pro account, which would allow me to place unlimited ads, which I did. I placed more ads, and then my account was blocked again because it looked like I was a merchant or something.

I find Vinted useless and disrespectful to its users.

There was another ad for a USB stick (which was already blocked) placed in the USB sticks category, and this one was also removed because it was in the Home category. Luckily, the account was already blocked (ha ha).

I've also reported to Vinted that there are several ads promoting (demonstrably) illegal goods, but these ads haven't been removed. It looks like Vinted has a bunch of preschoolers working for them!

I want my Pro account deleted because:

* My ad for a remote control was removed while many other remote controls are being offered (discrimination).
* I want my Pro account deleted immediately, including photos of my driver's license!
* There is no (normal) communication possible with Vinted!
After just one day, my Pro account was blocked for six days (due to a remote control ad), which is completely incomprehensible.

I have experienced multiple cases where damaged parcels were automatically blamed on “insufficient packaging” without any real investigation.

In my latest case, the courier forced the parcel into a locker that was clearly too small. The box was visibly bent under pressure. Instead of addressing the mishandling during delivery, the platform immediately concluded it was my fault as a seller.

The outcome is always the same:
The buyer gets a full refund.
The buyer keeps the item.
The seller receives zero compensation.

There is no real customer service. Only automated replies. Cases are marked as “final decision” without clear explanation of which specific packaging rule was violated. No transparency, no accountability, no seller protection.

This system creates a serious imbalance and is highly vulnerable to abuse. Sellers carry 100 percent of the financial risk, even when damage is clearly caused during transport.

If you are a seller, be aware: you are not protected.

I was using Vinted and randomly got banned. I have never listed anything, barely bought 2 things with the account. The report said I was "being disrespectful via private messages and making inappropriate, provocative and unwelcome comments about other members"? Which i don't understand because I have only ever asked people (kindly!!) for some more pictures of the items.
I made the appeal to get my account back, but couldn't provide any proof of my dms, because you cannot access them if your account gets banned. I also asked them to send me what was sent it and a claim/report, because I really wanted to see what the cause was but didn't get anything. I fully believe the ban was a mistake and am very disappointed with how the company handles cases like these. I never received any further explanation or justification for the ban.

I am really happy that I have experienced vinted. I have never thought that I could sold my clothes which I have never worn or not wear them anymore. Vinted makes so easy and it’s very helpful.

Such bad customer support when things go wrong - really unhelpful, use at your own risk

In general, it’s ok, but- There is so much fake that doesn’t need an expert’s opinion to find that out. It’s - in my opinion- strange that there is no pre selection in brands ( such as Hermes shoes for example, but there are many examples).
Notification about some irregularities related to Vinted doesn have to much effect, even if , also for example, the offered shoes from a random designer brand has a different color sole compared to the original.
Simple things that don’t need an ‘ expert’ should be checked, especially when feedback such as this is given,
Unless it’s bad for business and selling original, genuine products is not key .

Reliable, fast and easy.

Absolutely useless when things go wrong

Vinted.nl is great at one thing: collecting your money. That’s it.

The moment there’s a real problem, you’re completely screwed. Customer support is basically non-existent - good luck getting a human response that actually helps. If a shipping company damages your item? Don’t expect compensation. Don’t expect your item back. Don’t expect Vinted to care.

The platform only works if everything goes perfectly. The second something goes wrong, you’re on your own.

For a company handling people’s money and goods, this is honestly unacceptable. Would not trust them with anything important.

I would like to share my experience with Vinted!!
And it is very bad!Terrible customer service!
Everything was going fine until I had a problem with a buyer! The buyer said they didn’t pick up the product and DPD said the product was delivered! The buyer cancelled the transaction! And now Vinted refunded the buyer and I have nothing!! On top of that they sent me a message saying I can sell the product again!! How, when I don’t have the product and the buyer does, or it got lost!!
So Vinted does not protect sellers!!
For me this website Vinted is over and I’d rather sell somewhere else!!

I logged into my account and within a second they blocked me. Truly a failed platform. They’ll end up blocking everyone, and in the end they’ll be left all alone.

Awesome way to earn some extra money. Or get great pieces of clothing. Sometimes even art or books!

As a seller you do not have any rights.

It is an easy working platform
