I sold five items and listed a total of eight to ten. I listed 3D prints that I don't manufacture. They were a drone frame kit with protection. The only difference was that they weren't made of solid plastic; a Chinese supplier printed them. I was immediately banned from editing and selling. Contacting support confirmed I was trash. I've been selling junk from my closet on OLX for over five years, and no one ever humiliated me there.

Very good platform for sales and buying. Quite easy and understandable to use. One problem specifically for me to check deliveries to another country.

Unfortunately, I have to lower the rating due to the app's bugs, which don't register that messages have been read. Even though all messages have been read, the app still displays the unread message icon, which drives people crazy who are annoyed by all the notifications. This problem has existed FOR YEARS (iOS)

I am an Erasmus student leaving Poland on May 16th, and Vinted is withholding 2,750 PLN from a legitimate sale. Despite my identity being verified, my payout is blocked due to "technical errors."
The support is a disaster: Agent Yaroslav gave me false information, claiming my personal IBAN was "already used" elsewhere, while Agent Maxas explicitly told me to use that exact same IBAN. I have provided official bank documents proving the IBAN is mine and has never been used on Vinted.
This is an illegal seizure of funds. I have already filed formal complaints with:
1. Lietuvos Bankas (Bank of Lithuania)
2. ECC Belgium & ECC Romania
3. VVTAT

The site has deteriorated over the past few years. Fraud occurs daily. People buy things from you, and you end up without the item and without the money. Support is only on the buyer's side, and accounts of people who are innocent are blocked. The verification of items suffers. For an original item, they can ban you (this happened to me). But when you report a disgusting fake, support only responds by saying that the community rules are not violated. The main problem is the site's rules and stupid support.

Vinted is a great app. This year I wanted to focus on buying clothes from second-hand, but it isn’t so easy in stationary shops. I found Vinted and downloaded it. It’s free and easy to use. You can search for thing you’re looking for by image, that’s a big plus in my opinion. You can use Blik for paying, also very simple and quick. Selling isn’t complicated at all. App don’t have any errors, everything is explained so I didn’t have any issues with it. I HIGHLY recommend it.

Personally, I’ve had a very good experience with Vinted so far. I’ve both sold items and made purchases, and everything has gone smoothly in both directions. The platform is easy to use, and I like how simple it is to buy and sell second-hand items.

My main issue with Vinted is how easy it seems to be for fake products to be sold on the platform. Because of this, I avoid buying certain categories where I know the risk is higher, such as branded clothes, belts, backpacks, and similar items.

I miss is the ability to request new categories. I sometimes sell tools from my garage, but often neither the correct tool type nor a suitable category exists. I also think Vinted should add a section for classic car and motorcycle parts. These items are clearly being traded on the platform already, but as far as I know, they still don’t have their own dedicated category.

Based on my experience with selling, I think VINTED is the best! It’s a really intuitive platform, and listing items is simple... However—unfortunately, I’ve had a bad experience when it comes to reporting other items—I often see people mislabeling products—they’re tagging their items under the right brands to boost their visibility, and even when they write in the description that “this product isn’t from the ARKET brand, but it’s similar, which is why I’m tagging it,” and even when they get bad feedback and reviews saying the products are from China, and after I report this to you—you don’t respond. And that’s sad, because you’re still leaving space for scammers and con artists, and I really don’t respect that :(

There are many active users who sell clothes quickly, and the platform offers excellent supporting services, especially convenient courier options.

The products are cheap, but the shipping is very expensive! It's not worth it.

uploading pictures from the browser chrome most of the time does not work. I always have to do that on my phone instead. The HEIC so iphone specific image format can be uploaded from the iphone app but not from a browser.

Vinted keeps blocking my account. The reasons are always the same: either my photos are supposedly low quality, or they claim my photos already exist somewhere on the internet.

When I appeal, I either get no response at all or just a standard bot reply that has nothing to do with my case.

In the last month alone, I reported six cases to the European Consumer Centre and one to the police. If Vinted claims my photos are online, then someone must be stealing them. But Vinted refuses to provide any proof. Maybe they will finally share evidence with the police, and the person using my photos will be held responsible.

According to Vinted’s own rules, selling used underwear and counterfeit items is forbidden. But when such listings are reported, they often reply that everything is fine and simply suggest blocking the user.

Their support is not just bad — it is far below any acceptable standard.

Many users are tired of waiting and are already looking for alternatives, because this platform has seriously gone downhill.

To make things worse, their AI sometimes invents defects that items do not have, and Vinted often sides with buyers without giving any real explanation.

Honestly, the whole experience is terrible.
