I placed an order with this company and…

I placed an order with this company and when I got the shipping email it indicated that they didn’t include an item I ordered and paid for. I emailed the company and they said the order was already sent so they couldn’t do anything. No refund or anything. How can a person trust a company that ships incomplete orders?
I’ve emailed three times since that email and received no response. They obviously do not care about their customers. Be careful when deciding to order from this company.
