I had a frustrating experience with Virtuzone

I had a frustrating experience with Virtuzone and the sales person handling my case. They failed to deliver the service after allowing several months. They provided inconsistent information and pricing. Following a mediation with UAE consumer rights they agreed to provide a refund within 14 days. It has been more than a month and the refund is not yet received.

If I could give no stars I would

If I could give no stars I would. DO NOT go near these guys. Promise you the earth, take your money and then they give you excuse anger excuse. My “specialist”, does not respond to messages, calls or when he eventually does, give you excuse after excuse.
Onboarding team get the information and form wrong, send you sensitive info on other clients by mistake, so there data protection is non existent and contradict the specialist

Outstanding service

From my initial consultation with the guys at virtuezone to the way I’m currently looked after by them, has been noting short of outstanding.

They make the whole process of company set up and visa applications etc, extremely easy and stress free.
Every step of the way someone has been there to answer any questions and help me though each process with ease.
I’ve been with virtuzone since 2023 and I wouldn’t look any further.

Currently it’s Owen who looks after me and my business, he’s genuinely so helpful and very responsive to any of our company needs.
The whole team there are really amazing.

Worst service and not trust-worthy

After 7 years of being a client of Virtuzone, I’ve recently moved my business to a different setup — even though it caused some disruption. The reason? The constant feeling of being held hostage and overcharged for every small transaction became unbearable.

Virtuzone’s original value proposition was based on negotiating bulk deals with free zones and passing some of that value to business owners. That’s clearly no longer the case. What we feel now is not service — it’s pressure. Pressure to meet internal sales targets, upsell at every opportunity, and prioritize short-term gains over long-term client relationships.

What made matters worse was a recent incident where they refused to honor a previously agreed-upon service rate — one that was signed and stamped by their own manager. Their justification? The agreement was “old” and the manager “no longer works here.” This is not how a professional company operates — it felt more like dealing with individuals than an accountable business.

To sum up, it’s much cheaper, more transparent, and far more efficient to deal directly with the free zone than to continue working through Virtuzone.

Avoid

Avoid, to save your money

They rob you on every step and when you want to cancel their service , they ask you to pay 10k AED , orherwise they will not give you, your own company logins paswords and documents. IMAGINE? thats bigest scam i have ever seen

An unnecessary source of headaches

The fact that Virtuzone includes a Termination Fee of AED 7,350 ($2,000) in their contract to discourage clients from leaving speaks volumes. The fact that I was willing to pay it just to move on tells you the rest.

Virtuzone is a large operation that essentially acts as a middleman between entrepreneurs/businesses and the Free Zones where their companies are registered. In reality, you can work directly with the Free Zones, saving both time and money. Virtuzone, in my experience, adds no real value—in fact, they often slow things down.

They are exceptionally quick to demand payments but frequently very slow to deliver services. For instance, the company registration process, which they promised would take a couple of weeks, dragged on for nearly three months. When I needed an amendment to an employment contract, the person responsible went on a month-long vacation, and no one else was able to assist until they returned.

To make matters worse, my "relationship manager" didn't even know who I was when I called for help. At one point, I even received two invoices totaling $4,300 for services I had neither requested nor used.

In conclusion, dealing directly with the Free Zone of your choice is far more convenient and spares you the unnecessary headaches.

After having my trade license for 10 years via VZ, I can only advise anyone who wants to set up to go straight to the free zone you desire. VZ adds Zero Value to their overprices 'service'.

They even struggle with the little things

From the outset, my experience with this firm has been frustrating, leading me to decide against trusting them. Their lack of attention to small but crucial details has been particularly disappointing. For instance, they failed to return my calls at the agreed times—not once, but three times and they still haven’t called me. Due to this inconsistency, I have chosen not to entrust them with my company's formation and tax matters. Professionalism and reliability are essential, especially in accounting. Although their website appears professional, I am not convinced that their service is equally competent. In the realm of accounting, I value reliability and consistency over unpredictability.

AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!

AVOID THIS COMPANY! The worst company I have dealt with in the UAE.

Before you pay, service is great, they respond almost instantly. Then comes the invoice, they push for payment in full and then that’s when the communications start to go down the drain. They pass you from person to person and take 1 week at a time to reply to one of your questions or any messages. You have to ask them the same question multiple times to get a somewhat clear answer. Then the person you were in communication with will randomly end up on sick leave or annual leave.

They don’t know how to set a business up, they sent me forms to fill and sign and then realised I couldn’t fill them out without having a business licence.

They also sent me to a government office and told me to go in and sign? Sign what? Speak to who? What am I signing? The information they give is so unclear. I was told to go to a government office in Deira to sign a document and that I could go ‘anytime’. Well I went and they were closed.

Spent close to 50k with them and they’ve wasted 2-3 months of my time, currently trying to get a refund but not looking promising. They claim they don’t do refunds but they haven’t carried out any work. Just delays upon delays. Have raised a chargeback with credit card company. Will update this review on how it goes.

Save your wallet

Engaging with this company in the UAE was a complete disaster and a decision I deeply regret. From the outset, their promises of efficient service were nothing but empty words. Once payment was made, their responsiveness plummeted, leaving me stranded in a sea of frustration and unanswered inquiries.

Their incompetence reached new heights when they failed to grasp basic business procedures, leading to a series of costly errors and unnecessary setbacks. Their inability to provide clear and accurate instructions only added insult to injury, resulting in wasted time and resources on my part.

Despite my considerable investment, both financially and emotionally, the outcome was abysmal. Attempts to address the multitude of issues were met with indifference and a shocking lack of accountability.

My interaction with this company in the UAE was regrettable and left me deeply dissatisfied. Despite initial assurances of prompt service, their performance post-payment was lackluster at best. Communication deteriorated significantly, with prolonged delays in responding to inquiries and a notable lack of accountability.

Moreover, their incompetence became apparent when they failed to provide accurate guidance on essential business procedures. Their oversight resulted in unnecessary complications and wasted time on my end.

Despite my investment of both time and financial resources, the outcome was far from satisfactory. Attempts to address grievances and seek resolution were met with dismissiveness and an unwillingness to rectify the situation.

Do yourself a favour and stay clear

Horrible company. Stay away

terrible experience

I had the misfortune of dealing with this company in the UAE, and it was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. At first, they appeared professional and responsive, but as soon as they received my payment, their level of service plummeted. Communication became virtually nonexistent, with long delays between responses, if I received any response at all. It seemed like they had no interest in addressing my concerns or providing the services they promised.

Their incompetence was astounding. They sent me forms to fill out without bothering to check if I had the necessary business license. When I attempted to follow their vague instructions to visit a government office, I wasted hours of my time only to find out that their directions were completely wrong.

Despite paying a hefty sum of money, I received nothing in return but frustration and disappointment. To add insult to injury, they refused to issue a refund, claiming they had performed work when it was clear they had not lifted a finger on my behalf.

Save yourself the headache and steer clear of this company. They are unprofessional, incompetent, and clearly have no regard for their customers' time or money. Trust me, you'll thank yourself for avoiding them.
