Dubai Tourist Board / DET – All talk, no action

I submitted a formal complaint to Dubai’s Department of Economy & Tourism (DET) and never once received a phone call — only automated replies. Despite this, they repeatedly claim “we tried to contact you” as their excuse to close my complaint without ever addressing a single point I made. Their responses here are nothing but PR posturing to appear responsive — when in reality they stonewall you and shut the door.

Don’t be fooled by their public replies. They don’t care about solving problems — only about managing appearances.
