Beware of VisitMors

Our experience with renting a summer house through VisitMors was highly disappointing. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a pervasive and offensive chemical odor inside the property, which suggested the use of inappropriate cleaning materials or an underlying issue with the house itself. Despite our efforts to ventilate the space, the smell persisted, making the environment unbearable.

We promptly contacted the company for assistance, hoping for a swift resolution. Unfortunately, our interaction with the representative, whom I would refer to as "P", was far from helpful. Despite our request for an alternative accommodation, we were informed that none was available, forcing us to find another place to stay merely five hours after our arrival.

To further our disappointment, P's inspection of the property occurred late in the evening, long after we had departed, and his denial of any odor issue was not only unhelpful but also delivered in a manner we found to be extremely rude. Our requests for a refund or an alternative solution were flatly refused, leaving us out of pocket by approximately 1,800 EUR for a stay we could not enjoy.

Our attempt to address this issue through the booking website only added insult to injury. The response we received was dismissive, indicating that the problem was "between your nose and P's nose (P here is their employee)," a remark we found to be not only unprofessional but also disrespectful.

This experience has highlighted a lack of customer care and integrity on the part of VisitMors, particularly during the high season when guests rely on their services the most. It's disheartening to see how quickly situations are mishandled and how guests are left to bear the consequences of such negligence. We strongly advise potential renters to consider other options to avoid having their vacation ruined by similar experiences.

Unsere Erfahrung mit der Anmietung eines Sommerhauses über VisitMors war äußerst enttäuschend. Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir von einem durchdringenden und beleidigenden chemischen Geruch im Inneren der Immobilie empfangen, was auf die Verwendung ungeeigneter Reinigungsmittel oder ein zugrundeliegendes Problem mit dem Haus selbst hindeutete. Trotz unserer Bemühungen, den Raum zu lüften, blieb der Geruch bestehen und machte die Umgebung unerträglich.

Wir kontaktierten umgehend das Unternehmen, in der Hoffnung auf eine schnelle Lösung. Leider war unsere Interaktion mit dem Mitarbeiter alles andere als hilfreich. Trotz unserer Bitte um eine alternative Unterkunft wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass keine verfügbar sei, was uns zwang, bereits fünf Stunden nach unserer Ankunft einen anderen Aufenthaltsort zu suchen.

Zur weiteren Enttäuschung erfolgte die Inspektion der Immobilie durch den Mitarbeiter erst spät am Abend, lange nachdem wir abgereist waren, und die Verneinung jeglicher Geruchsprobleme war nicht nur unzulänglich, sondern wurde auch auf eine Weise vermittelt, die wir als äußerst unhöflich empfanden. Unsere Anfragen nach einer Rückerstattung oder einer alternativen Lösung wurden kategorisch abgelehnt, was uns um etwa 1.800 EUR ärmer machte, ohne dass wir den Aufenthalt genießen konnten.

Unser Versuch, dieses Problem über die Buchungswebsite anzusprechen, fügte nur Beleidigung zu Verletzung hinzu. Die erhaltene Antwort war herablassend und deutete an, dass das Problem "zwischen Ihrer Nase und der Nase des Mitarbeiters" liege, eine Bemerkung, die wir nicht nur als unprofessionell, sondern auch als respektlos empfanden.

Diese Erfahrung hat einen Mangel an Kundenbetreuung und Integrität seitens VisitMors aufgezeigt, besonders während der Hochsaison, wenn Gäste am meisten auf ihre Dienste angewiesen sind. Es ist entmutigend zu sehen, wie schnell Situationen schlecht gehandhabt werden und wie Gäste die Konsequenzen solcher Nachlässigkeit tragen müssen. Wir raten potenziellen Mietern dringend, andere Optionen in Betracht zu ziehen, um zu verhindern, dass ihre Ferien durch ähnliche Erfahrungen ruiniert werden.
