Added monitored protection I fortunately haven't needed this detector in an actual smoke or carbon monoxide emergency, but I appreciate having both types of detection integrated into my professionally monitored Vivint system. I also maintain separate smoke and carbon monoxide detectors in my home for additional coverage. So far, the Vivint detector has integrated seamlessly with the system and gives me another layer of protection.
