Review summary

Based on reviews, created with AI

Reviewers overwhelmingly had a great experience with this company. Customers praise the product for its ability to transform their creative ideas into music with ease, highlighting its intuitive user experience and powerful technology. Many found it to be a game-changer for their workflow, allowing them to create melodies, bass, drums, and percussion simply by using their voice. People appreciate how it saves time and enables them to overcome limitations with traditional instruments, making music production accessible and enjoyable for both experienced musicians and beginners. However, some customers also noted challenges, particularly regarding latency issues when connecting directly to a laptop and difficulties with the included microphone. A few reviewers mentioned that the pitch accuracy can be challenging, especially for non-singers, and that there might be a learning curve for beginners.

It just doesn't work like advertised

It just doesn't work like advertised, do not fall for the influencer videos, they have been heavily edited.
Also, there is no trial and if you intend to return it you won't see your money, it has been two weeks and nothing, they didn't return the money and I just found other charges made by Vochlea which is way above the advertised price!

The latency is too slow to use

The latency is too slow to use. It can only go so fast and does not pick up all the pitches you makes sounds for once you hit a certain speed. And I’d expect it to not be able to pick up different pitches at a very fast speed, but it won’t even pick up the difference at moderate speeds. I haven’t even gotten to use it at the level a professional beatboxer could but I couldn’t imagine how it would be able to pick up their sounds at the speed they produce it. It’s a great concept I’ve been waiting for but it’s advertised as something it just isn’t quite yet.

Lol this is an absolute joke

Lol this is an absolute joke. Bought this for Black Friday. Even though I have low latency mode on in logic, there is so much delay between the recording and the midi input. It's absolutely unusable.

Plus this only works if you can't actually beatbox. Because if you're really able to beatbox well then it's a disaster to set up. Because you have to pre-configure every sound you make with your mouth to a certain output. However once you start beatboxing you use techniques that are a bit different from how you would play the sound in a solo manner. So all of the sudden he's confusing hi hats with snares and claps. What a joke

I really hoped this would have been exactly like the ads

Great idea however there are certain faults that are not mentioned.

I've got the dubler2 and I recorded one set of tone to get a certain key of an instrument, then I did another set of one single tone of another key of the same instrument and when I the sang the two different keys, it kept mixing the two keys up like it got confused which one was being picked up. This keeps happening even though I clearly sang the correct tone and made sure of it. this is supposed to recognise 8 different tones but it doesn't even recognise 2, and yes I got the full package with the microphone.

Another fault is
not much thought was put into the teaching sessions as the "full walkthrough" doesn't feel like enough was explained. it seemed very brief for the whole thing which is not great for someone who's an absolute beginner at this and the extra 3 minute clips are not enough.
There's not even an option to pay for a 1-1.
this could easily be sorted out if there was a customer service number available which someone could guide me through but it just asked for a screen recording which is really disappointing because as an artist we don't really have so much time to be able to wait for reply and extra work recording of it all and going over that again would take a lot of time.
I'm really disappointed as this could've been something absolutely amazing.
I send my question on support, however it says you'll get back to me within two working days time.
That's very long for what can be simple to fix.
It also won't allow me to send a screen recording of the issue that I'm having so you can really see what I mean exactly.
I was really hoping this could work because it looks absolutely amazing on the adverts and it definitely made me to go and buy it but I just don't want it to be a scam.
If someone could get back to me and actually help me through that would be fantastic, I'd be happy to remove this review, if not it's a refund for me and this review stays.
