Volcano Car Rental by KONVIN Reviews

Volcano cars were brilliant! They met us at the airport as we came out if security, took us to the car that was parked really close, and sent us on our way really quickly. Really friendly communication and not at all hard on the return time as the big 4 rental firms. And much more reasonably priced at approximately half the price of the others when we booked.
Brilliant, trustworthy and sturdy Dacia Duster, a 4x4 that is a must if you drive around in places other than Reykjavik and its surroundings where out of the blue, a river crossing appears out of nowhere and a "normal" car would sink, or the engine would die in the middle of the puddle!

We had some questions about our drive license and Maria helped us quickly.
It was easy to drop in and drop off the car.
All perfect!!

Super easy pickup and drop off. Our vehicle easily handled our bags. We would rent from volcano again.

Excellent service!
We had to change the pick up location of the car on the very last moment, and there was no problem with that. The car we rented - Suzuki Vitara , was in very good condition. Based on our experience we can recommend Volcano Cars for renting a car in Iceland.

Perfect experience with volcano cars ! The agent was waiting for me when i arrived and the car was already in the airport parking ! Awesome

This was an excellent car hire experience… Maria communicated very well from the time the booking was made.. we were met at the airport lobby and shown to our car.. the car was in perfect condition and everything worked like new.. car return was very simple and easy… and the cost of the rental was very good compared to others. Would very much recommend Volcano to other travelers

The staff was verry helpful, and the car worked like a charm!

I arrived a day later than my reservation and they were very good to adjust without any delays on my end.
Needed a vehicle to fit my bike, and 4wd just in case. It was a 2017 manual shift, but ran well and had no problems.

Needing an "affordable" rental for my stay, including a 6'4" passenger, Volcano Cars was the answer. Same price as a "mini" grade car from other providers. The young man who delivered the car was friendly and thorough. Car did great on mountain roads, and got decent gas mileage. The gps was such a help, as was being an "automatic". Maria was kind and helpful. One improvement would be adding that you need to call to pick up car, and how to drop off the car (info when you pick it up). Overall - great experience. Highly recommended.
