Well it could have been 5 just happy to get refunded for what I didn't use. Although it took me more than a week to get sorted. No one at the desk at the airport could help me. Phone the direct line after 20 min on the phone I could still not be helped and finally got it done on the link
It was simple procedure
Wasted almost two years of my time! Just do it yourself.
I hired AirRefund to help claim EU261 compensation for a cancelled Ryanair flight. Instead of actively fighting for my rights, they kept my case stuck in limbo for almost two years, claiming the airline had not provided a substantive response. After wasting all that time, they finally closed my case with a completely ridiculous excuse: they told me they could not initiate legal proceedings in the required place of jurisdiction. How does a professional flight compensation agency not check their own jurisdictional limits from day one? They accepted my case and sat on it while warning me about the statute of limitations ticking away, only to drop it over a basic legal fact they should have known immediately. They even tried to vaguely blame weather and extraordinary circumstances to justify giving up. Once they dropped me, I took over and did it myself. I sent a formal letter directly to Ryanair, and Ryanair quickly admitted liability and approved the full statutory compensation for me and my travel companion. Save yourself the headache, the wasted time, and the commission fee.

Successful
Takes time and requires lots of docs, but at the end it worked and got a part refunded.
Smells like a scam to me
This company uses automated info and document gathering technology. If what you submit doesn't exactly match their expectations, it gets rejected. It is nearly impossible to contact a human, for anything. Chat goes to AI. Email goes to AI. Event their phone number goes to AI. I had contacted the airline directly for a claim prior to Flight Delayed. The airline rejected my claim twice, but I was persistent. Finally, the airline came through, but sent the payment to Flight Delayed. Now, I can not get anyone to confirm that they were paid, nor forward my payment to me. They are unreachable and untouchable! Smells like a scam to me, its definitely not helping the public get they just dues.

I had a delay of almost 6 hours before take off, sent our boarding passes, passports and filled all, and it got directly dismissed. No reply on internal chat in the account I created, whatsapp nothing more than AI/virtual agents that promise every day again they will pass it on. Total unprofessional and it seems they are only there to handle the easy-to-cash-claims. 1st time I deal with a refund company for flight, but this one is dramatically bad from service point of view. NO REAL PERSON CONTACT possibe. My advise: stay away!

Fee is very high but I’m grateful since the airline offered nothing through their process. Thank you!
UPDATE – No substantive response to the concerns raised!
Thank you for your response. Unfortunately, this does not address the specific concerns raised in my review. It appears to be substantially the same response that was previously posted, rather than a response to the detailed points I raised.
I specifically raised concerns about:
1. The initial statement that I had not informed Flight Delayed that the claim was being pursued elsewhere, which was subsequently acknowledged to be incorrect;
2. The fact that I agreed to allow the mandate to continue after being warned about a cancellation fee, without being clearly informed that I could still be charged the full success fee even if the compensation was obtained entirely through another route;
3. The fact that the compensation was obtained through the airline’s own dispute-resolution process and paid directly to me;
4. No evidence of substantive work provided to me beyond confirmation that Flight Delayed’s request had been received by the airline
5. The inconsistency between the original statement that your work and legal team’s efforts had “led to a successful outcome” and the later explanation that this was merely automated wording;
6. The fact that two other companies involved in the same matter closed their cases without charging me a fee;
7. The fact that the amount I disclosed as compensation received was subsequently used to calculate your £180 invoice.
Your latest response does not substantively address these points. Instead, it largely repeats that I accepted your Terms & Conditions and that the mandate remained active.
That is not the same as addressing the concerns I have raised about how the situation was actually communicated and handled.
I find it particularly disappointing that, after asking me to provide my claim number so that you could investigate the matter, the response now appears to simply repeat the previous position rather than engage with the specific issues I raised.
For me, this is itself illustrative of the customer-service experience I have had throughout this matter: I raise specific concerns, provide the requested information, and receive a general restatement of the company’s position rather than a meaningful response to those concerns.
I have already paid the disputed £180 purely to bring the matter to an end and because I value my time. I have therefore no financial dispute remaining with the company. What remains is my genuine feedback about the experience I received.
I find the overall handling of this matter extremely disappointing! Prospective customers should consider this exchange for themselves and decide whether this is the standard of communication and customer service they would expect when dealing with a claim.
I have said everything I need to say about my experience. I do not intend to continue an endless public exchange in which the same position is repeatedly restated without addressing the specific concerns raised.
