Twice I've purchased this product and twice it has blown out when using it overseas. Under no circumstances will they honor the warranty after 12 months. The first time it blew out was while using it with a voltage converter in Italy, past warranty. I contacted customer service and while they wouldn't replace it, I received written assurances that it did not require a voltage converter because it would automatically change voltage and was safe to use overseas. I repurchased based on these assurances. The replacement product blew out on a trip to Belgium, about 2 years past purchase. I contacted the company and explained to multiple agents that I only tried using the second one overseas because of their written and verbal assurances that it was reliably dual voltage. I even included a copy of their email from the first incident. I received a template email back stating the product was out of warranty. All subsequent attempts to reach out or escalate have been ignored.
