Purchased hairdryer which blew up, unable to contact company regarding problem. Extremely poor after sales service.

Thought it would be a no-risk purchase as it came with a 90-Day money back guarantee.

Hairdryer arrived. It was ok but my wife didn’t like its design. Tried to return and had offers of a small percentage refund etc. Dug my heels in and arranged to have it shipped back to China. It sat in Chinese customs for months. Had confirmation from the courier that it has been delivered to Vorte. Emailed to check when refund would be paid and the email bounced back. Website now down too. Looks like they have gone bust or moved on.

Scam company. Guys get your banks involved. Email vortehair and say the item arrived faulty to which they will offer you a partial refund because apparently shipping back to china is very expensive!keep telling them that you want refund and don't accept anything less. Under uk consumer law if goods are sent out faulty then the cost to return the item is on the company not you. Quote uk consumer law in the emails you send and document everything to be send to the bank as evidence

Hairdryer is rubbish, takes even longer than a normal one! Won't accept a return either. Based in China not UK. Avoid avoid avoid

I bought a hair dryer based on fake positive reviews that Vortehair had created, when in fact the vast majority are negative. It arrived with the wrong plug. I asked to return the product. This process has been extremely difficult. It has now been with them for 6 weeks and no sign of any refund. My feedback is you shouldn't buy from them.

SHOCKING ! dryer lasted about 4 months then over heated & melted all the attachments! No reply for weeks then a very curt email saying it was out of warranty (90days) so nothing they would do.
Should have gone with the shark for the same price , live & learn

I bought a hairdryer at Christmas, it’s now doesn’t work. I’ve checked the fuse kept the filter clean inbetween uses. Tried to email the company but never get a response. There’s isn’t a number to call. I’m really not happy as this hairdryer wasn’t cheap! I’d like someone to respond to my email please .

Selling a Super Hair Dryer from China not the UK.
They’re priced between£45-65 here in the uk.
I’ve not received my order nor have I received a refund. Im taking this further obviously.

Absolute crooks,wrong plug and refuses to refund me,then found out they have fake good reviews covering the terrible reviews they have about the product being faulty.
I thought it was a UK company but its Lucy from china.

Disgraceful. They claim to have delivered the product to our home even though it was simply left street side, and presumably stolen. No resolution despite repeated clear issue. Would not recommend any dealings with them.

Ordered from this company. No shipping details. "Lucy" replies saying will arrive within 3 - 5 days. Those timescales passed, chased again with same reply. Absolutely would not recommend this company.

I have already reviewed this product but have now had a reply from so called Lucy saying as it has been 6 months since purchase and there's nothing they can do!!! Ive had hairdryers for years for more than half the price.
Which i new this would probably be the case.
Please do not believe the good reviews on this product as somehow they have got away with with doing this aswell.
PLEASE do not buy from this scam company

Don’t buy. False advertising and bad quality. Company has may other companies selling same thing. Stopped working after 2 months. Very sad daughter as this was a gift.

The product is cheap and shoddy, doesn't heat up and then cuts out. Any returns need to go to China so it's not worth sending them back and they refuse to refund your money. Absolute scammers! Spend proper money and get a Dyson. Their product is a flimsy substandard version and when you request a refund they refuse. Like so many customers I am now having to request a charge back from my bank.

I wish I had read reviews before dealing with this company. Deceiving from the offset. In most cases, when a deal is too good to be true, it usually is. The product is unbranded, cheap, flimsy, not convinced it meets UK electrical standards and not worth the £159 I paid. They are advertising themselves as a UK company, there is nothing UK about them and when asked, they ignored this point several times. They are not aware of UK consumer law, and apparently they have been in business in the UK for over 30. The problem was when I wanted to return the product. I'm in the UK and I thought I buying from here. Nowhere on the website, stated I was buying from China. They do say that the customer would have to pay for returns, I accepted that, but they don't that returns have to be made to China and will cost over £100. I was told they have warehouses all over the world, but I couldn't return to UK or Europe even. Looking back at the website, no address, no company registration details, no phone number, no idea who you are dealing.

Don’t be a fool like me and buy this product from this dishonest seller. The product is unnamed, non-functional, cheaply made plastic appliance with a dodgy Chinese electrical plug not even suitable for Australia.

As all other reviews have stayed complete and utter scam. Thought I was buying from a reputable Uk company only to find it was cheap tat from China.
Item broken and they wouldn’t give me a refund unless I returned the item to China. Offered me another and told to keep the broken one.

Got scammed. Exactly the same process as all the other one star reviews. Lucy must be a robot as ‘she’ responds the same way in her emails with all customers. They have a fake trustpilot star rating on their website. I stupidly believed this. Tried to cancel order within half an hour but got same message as everyone else. Took nearly 3 1/2 months to get money back (after my bank refunded with a charge back and then they decided to pay up but took a 15% restocking fee out of their refund. Fortunately my bank got this back for me as well. A lot of my time was spent pursuing them but I was not going to let them get away with it. I probably would have lost my money if my bank didn’t intervene. I also refused to take delivery of the parcel so I wasn’t up for return postage. The parcel is never actually returned to China so the restocking fee is bogus. Very sneaky company. I’m surprised they are still in business however I believe they change their name slightly every so often just so they can keep scamming people. BTW it was Vortehair.au so they are spreading their shonky tendrils all over the world.

Scammers. I received nothing, tried to cancel soon after ordering and got an automated reply from a bot saying it was too late to do so. Thought it was a UK based company as it says on their website. They are putting on fake Trust Pilot reviews on their site. They are based in China and are out to scam. AVOID. Begging the bank for weeks to refund me, no further on. Useless Santander. Not good.
