Vota is the intuitive restaurant guide that cuts through the marketing fluff with the smartest rating system powered by real diners. Vota learns from real user experiences—not stars, bots, or marketing fluff—to surface restaurants that truly stand out. At Vota, trust isn't just a feature — it's the foundation. In a world flooded with fake reviews, sponsored listings, and biased ratings, we believe diners deserve better. That’s why we’ve built Vota to be fully transparent, ad-free, and independent from the restaurant industry. Our mission is to earn and keep your trust by providing honest, data-driven insights powered by real people, not marketing budgets. When you use Vota, you can count on restaurant rankings that are fair, unbiased, and based on actual diner experiences — not who paid to be seen. Feedback is of course very important for us and that's why we have a home here at Trustpilot.

low effort but actually useful

tbh thought it was gonna be some tech bro nonesense. but it’s simple af and i like that . only on iphone rn which sucks. also the votes sometimes make no sense like burger vs 200 euro tasting menu but it kind of evens out. don’t have to write anything, no stars, just click and done. keeps me from doomscrolling and if places i never heard of so yeah im in.

Honest, Clean and not trying too hard

I travel a lot for work and this literally the only food app that doesn't try to be evrything. There's no starts, no weired "Top 10 Brunch Spots" garbag. You just see two restaurants and go "yup, that one.
Its weirdly refreshing. The companion site vita.org is also solid if you want to browse local picks without opening the app.

Great concept but needs Android

love the voting idea and the app work great on my iPhone. Really nice to just give gut reactions instead of scrolling through walls of fake reviews like on Yelp. But it's not on android and my wife can't use it, so that's a pretty big limitation right now. Also would be cool to have a way filter by type of food. Still, I keep using it and the vibe is chill. Like the site too, vota.org, has some neat stats.

Best app I didn't know I needed

At first i was like, ok... Another resturant thing. But then I started using it and honestly, it's lowkey genius. Just pick one of two spots. No reviews to read, no logging in, nothing. I've ended up eating at a couple places I wouldn't have found otherwise. I like how it's not all about the "top rated" hype resturants either. Still missing some places in my neighborhood and sometimes things show up twice, but whatever. The good outweighs the bad. Also vota.org has ranking by city which is fun to look at when you're bored at work lol.
