Begging you not to use this company. The work is not good no matter what samples they give you. I saw wonderful samples.

My illustrator just needed VOX to fill in coloring and details from her sketches. She provided them with all the color swatches to use, detailed notes, and they literally did nothing to help. They catch you up in the "unlimited revisions" part. They have unlimited revisions, but do not ever fix the comments or notes. Thus, my illustrator literally spent more time asking them to change...THE SAME changes time and time again. She ended up just finishing a couple of books herself.

Unfortunately, I paid for 10 books. They completed 0 books. She was not picky in her comments. They are making huge mistakes like changing obvious colors from page to page, missing limbs, etc. I'm an amateur and saw the blatant mistakes. But the worst part is asking for those simple changes and they were not done from asking over and over again. They literally send the same pages over for feedback again and again. When calling...either they beg for more time to re-do, they ask to switch project managers, and then they simply avoid you.

I saved my money to do my books. I wish my projects were finished. Sad really that they take from people who are not rich, but trying to create something.

Negative stars!!! Even a zero star rating is too good for this company.

I used Vox Illustration back in 2020 to do my children's book as they came highly recommended by a friend who had a good experience. They were doing so well with my book that I hired them to do another book.

The deal included illustrations, formatting & creating a book file for both eBook & print.

The first book got done in about a year and a half, and we began creating the second book around May 2020. I STILL DO NOT HAVE THE SECOND BOOK!! I only have the illustrations Thank God so I'm able to take this to another designer but I'll have to pay out of my pocket!

The project manager has changed numerous times. I think the persons answering the phones are worthless with false promises & give you the runaround on messages and emails. I had a sliver of hope that something might've gotten done as my most recent PM made a slight effort but nothing has been done AT ALL to complete this project.

I honestly don't think whoever took this company over in the past year or so KNOWS ANYTHING WHEN IT COMES TO CREATING A FILE. The most recent file I received looked like someone in elementary school was learning how to do this, and someone from elementary school could probably do a better job because it was that bad.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! The only thing I can say is DO NOT! It's a waste of your money. I was hoping to sue for Breech of Contract because that's what they've done. It's VERY DISAPPOINTING to see my hard earned money & time invested wasted on this company. WHAT A JOKE!

Who is Ben Rogers? I'm not sure if her is a true person or part of the company. I've been asking for a refund for a while now. No response. Just promises to call.

The promises are unreasonable. I would ask for a finish date, they would say 4 days for one page. I would give them 5, on day 6 I would call and there would be an excuse.

It was a huge mistake to use this company.

I am also, like others trying to receive a refund for my payment. I have been trying to gain my refund since December. Ben Rogers is no longer at the company...some woman who uses Ben Roger's email is with the company. We did a multibook deal to try and get the best price as well as typesetting.

I have been trying to work with the company for over a year. I saved up money for over years to try and put together my series of children's books. I have an illustrator who is going in with me for a portion of the proceeds after sale. She was moving slowly and asked for help with the fills and details. We called and made a deal with VOX stating that they could do 1 book a month. My illustrator would sketch, they would do the fills and typeset. My illustrator even made color pallets for each sketch. She gave very specific details as to how to do each drawing.

Four months later, she finished just 4 pages of one book. We figured that maybe they needed to get with the revisions process because they say that they will make unlimited revisions and if the customer asks for more and more revisions, then it will take them longer. My illustrator is very detailed, thorough, and places very detailed notes as to what needed to be exchanged. We also work with our illustrator in our other business and she does GREAT work, but would have easily updated any small mistakes. Which she did.

The next book, she tried to be even more detailed. They specifically did not follow any of her instructions. They literally took her samples, copied and pasted her sample work into the drawing WITHOUT drawing anything. Again, her notes super detailed for revisions. They would send the work back without doing any of the revisions. We sat together as a team and reviewed all of the illustrators work. The work was so subpar...it was very obvious on the mistakes. It was obvious how the artists simply copy and pasted the sample pictures she had. We had an artist prior to our illustrator who simply charged to take the photos, copy and paste for $50 per book. This was way more money being paid...years of savings.

In December, I called and was transferred to the "new Ben". She and I got into it because she asked to please give them another try and it was a fail. They couldn't meet deadlines. I told them that it was Christmas and I would have loved to have had something ready for Christmas and I missed an opportunity. I asked to speak to a manager so I could ask for a refund. She sent me "Mike". He has called, made deadlines, asked for more time, set times for reviews, give us one more chance, avoided calls since January. They have turned in one page...and STILL did the drawing the same way. They didn't make any revisions from what they had before.

Again, I am not a rich woman...I just wanted to do something nice for children. DO NOT GIVE ONE DIME TO THIS COMPANY. In the past couple of weeks, I've asked for just a call. Excuses and call avoidance. My father passed away last month. I would have loved to have showed him more than 1 book. We were supposed to have at least a set of books by now. Unfortunately, I have nothing.

The company is a scam and I will spend my time going on each website and BBB to complain about this company. I'm sure the positive reviews are simply them, posting creating fake emails and posting positive emails for themselves. Shame on you doing this to people who are spending their hard earned money on your service.

Refund my money now!!!

Horrible experience. I paid in advance for my project. It’s been two years and the project is still not done. It was sent to print without revisions. No one can seem to get on the same page of how to handle this internally. Company stated I couldn’t receive a refund even though I have yet to receive a finished product. At this point, I just want a refund.

Decent job, responsive to input.

Be careful with these so called graphic artists, they will push for collection of funds prior to the job as much as they can get fasten your seat belt as to what you will receive
Highly incompetent, probably working out of an apartment , never receive work during the day always at night after they finish there regular jobs, save your money thank God I only lost 1k, not reliable and the limited work they did submit was horrible

Complete scam! You will be able to speak with a representative initially for them to take your money but that will quickly go away. I paid for three separate projects and paid more to receive .ai files but I think they work in Photoshop so the images are useless. Even then, they only worked on one simple one and took much longer than the 3-5 business days as promised. Save your money!

They do a really crappy job!!! I had them do many revisions and they still could not get it right. I asked for a refund and they skirt around the question. Been waiting for the refund for over a week and they have not contacted me about the refund!!!! They have now made false claims about me. Beware this company! I can supply all the emails and online chat's that back my concerns with this company.

On Friday February 9th I paid for a service logo , I was told by Wednesday you will get the service, on Wednesday I called, emailedand texted and nobody answer me by February 23th I got an email from them , I told them. This company is not reliable I want my money back, it's February 27th and I still waiting for my refund , this company is a Fraud & scammers

BEWARE

I contacted them for illustrations for a children's book. I spoke with an online person and they kept asking me the same questions after already providing them the answer. When I decided I didnt want to use them they continue to send me text messages and ads which were unsoliticed and I have requested to unsubscribe. The text messages continue to happen. The company and messages are from New York and I am in Canada. I hope their constant text messages does not affect my phone vill's.

this is HARASSMENT

Not at all what I wanted even after a few revisions. He didn't listen to all that I was looking for in my illustration. I would give one more star because he was nice, but revisions took too long and I'M STILL WAITING FOR MY REFUND! They had no problem quickly taking my money but after a few emails I am still waiting for my money back. I ended up getting my book cover from a totally free site.

Wow, if this doesn’t say it all!! Notice how ALL of the ones that wrote reviews for this place with bad reviews, which are ALOT of them, VOX Illustration reported them to trustpilot. Vox wants you to think they only get 5 (or 4 stars) and their company is great which I can tell you from first hand experience is quite the opposite. This is a shady company that takes your money and runs. They produce stock images NOT custom designs and asking for a 100% money back guarantee which they promise is FALSE advertising. I’m STILL waiting for my money back. DO NOT USE VOX ILLUSTRATION!!!!

This is the message for everyone that gave them bad reviews. Guess it is a matter of time until VOX tries to hide this from the public??? “Voxillustration reported this review for breaching of Trustpilot guidelines. We are currently assessing the review in accordance with our reporting processes.“

Terrible! Don't let the cheap cost entice you. Once they sell you with false promises, get ready for an unprofessional experience and poor quality stock graphics (not quality custom images). Not worth the time or energy. It took me months to get the "project manager" to transfer me to his manager, Ben Rogers, to discuss my disappointment both in quality, timeliness, and professionalism. Guess what? He blew off our scheduled meetings, refused to talk on the phone. We ended up cancelling before we even verified character sketches. Yet, they have not given me a refund nearly 6 months later. I continue to follow up and they keep trying to string me along with promises of a refund coming. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere, anywhere else!

What a waste of money. The illustrations weren't great, looked nothing like what I asked for. That I was willing to work with, but they couldn't even get the words correct. After multiple failed attempts to have basic English corrected I finally gave up. It would be days or a week with nothing done and then if you sign in they will send you something. Otherwise they don't work on it. Horrible experience. I just wanted to make one book for a gift and I have nothing but wasted money and an email with a notepad attachment.

Being an illustrator myself I can say that the vox illustrators are very good in terms of ideas and out of the box creativity. My clients were very happy to see the work, I was happy to have complete ownership of the designs, and the overall process was very smooth.

Price: 8/10

So overall its recommended!

Worked with Chris Jones on my illustrations and people at VoxIllustration are really exceptional. The concept their artists presented really impressed me and my team loved the concepts.

Delivery was a bit delayed but full marks on creativity.

Recommended to anyone looking for quality illustrations in reasonable prices.
