HSA acct reflects not current employer, but one from 2yrs ago
HSA card denied when used at health visits, called 800#- card's active. Kudos to the 2 @Voya who helped on the phone (so 2 stars vs 1) but why does it take THREE BUSINESS DAYS to resolve? My account's associated with previous employer (!) from 2 years ago; no wonder I can't get anywhere on the phone (automated) nor create online account under current employer despite bi-weekly contributions. Very frustrating. Who's at fault for this? Current employer HR person missed a step or Voya?

My employer uses Voya for 401K and it is awful. They will take your money every week and when you try to take a loan they will not let you get one. Avoid this company.
Voya screwed up my retirement account…
Voya screwed up my retirement account and refuses to correct the problem. All the money I deposited into my retirement accout was supposed to be Roth already taxed dollars. They reported that most of my money was pretaxed dollars...now I will have to pay taxes on money that was already taxed. They are horrible! They refuse to correct the problem and I am on the hook for paying taxes twice on my money
My Voya agent is amazing!
Despite some people having bad experiences, I think it depends on who your agent is. The Voya office and agent I have, have been awesome. I’ve been working with them for the last 30 years. So people need to take that into consideration.

Company is withholding funds and not sending the document to the proper address after mentioning the correct address to mail document to.
Cecilia from customer service was of little assistance and was attempting to avoid assisting with a basic issue that needed further looking into.
After waiting for over 30 minutes on the phone waiting for an escalation, no manager or supervisor was reached.
Avoid this company
Avoid this company. There customer service is awful. Horrible experience every single time I’ve called. I’m waiting for my HSA check distribution for almost 2 months. Today I was told that my check was resent 20 days ago and probably it got lost. What a joke!!! VOYA those are my money, not yours. I’m not borrowing anything from you just to be clear. I want my money due to medical expenses.

the errors on here costed me alot of things.. still waiting for a resolution i do hope i get a correspondence. wish ya'll can heap like me with kågévestº only one keeping the tempo when it comes to delivery of profits
Not worth the headache.
My work uses Voya for flex and health savings accounts, and I have to say it is the worst company to deal with. FSA debit card is almost useless. I am always having to call them. They need receipts for everything and still decline when you send them in. It's better to not have a health savings account then to deal with Voya. Not worth the headache.
FURIOUS, I would give -1,000 stars if I could
My employer recently switched to this company and I've had nothing but problems. I injured myself bad 2 months ago and needed money for bills so I don't get kicked out of my house, and to pay all my other bills. EVERY SINGLE thing that had to be done to get money has been a nightmare. Waiting periods of insane amounts of time, 7 days to approve my bank account, waiting period to approve and accept a transfer from another 401, THEN 12 days to be able to take a loan, then their Direct Deposit would probably have taken longer then mail I was told. THEY MAIL a check no matter how big it is through REGULAR MAIL with no tracking, not having to be signed for, NO FedEx, no overnight, nothing!
What craziness is this!? They promised a date I would get it, I paid $50 for an EXPEDITED process, (not mail, because they don't do that), and it still didn't get here! I called again for a refund for the expedited process and they said I wasn't charged for it.. I bet I know why! They mailed it 2 days ago and it should have been here yesterday! I am furious. I hope that employers who are considering this company, do not. If I could give -1,000 stars I would. DO BETTER!
The only good thing I can write is the representatives are very nice.
Horrible 401K company
After reading all the reviews pertaining to 401k it aligns with our compliant. This is a horrible company and they do NOT want to give you your money. Its been over 3 weeks now and on our 4th call. It clearly appears they're using your money for as long as they can to invest for their profits. BE AWARE IF YOU HEAR YOUR COMPANY IS LOOKING TO MOVE TO VOYA.
Awful processing claims too slow
Awful processing claims. Very slow. Waited 10 days was told to wait another 5 due to high claims. Maybe processed them quicker. Wish my employer would get a new company to deal with. Would never recommend this company to anyone.
AWFUL
AWFUL, RIP OFF!!!! Supposed to be helpful for the working people. What a lie. Don’t want to pay out. Have to be called continuously and do not return calls in a timely manner. Always getting information wrong. PATHETIC. LOTS OF EXCUSES as to why they got wrong info.
I had asked to have money transferred…
I had asked to have money transferred to another firms account. Voya could not use Electronic Transfer and the paper check is sitting somewhere. Had to call and pay to have new check tracked and over-nighted. Guess Voya is still in the dark ages.
Very painful experience
Very painful experience. Use Schweb .ongoing issues Never resolved. Bad Service has got (worse in last 3-4 years. The date below will not let me enter correct year & Date )
Did Not Pick Voya
My company chose Voya as the 401K manager, unfortunately. While they do have good options like the ability to move money to a separate Charles Schwab account, their website is just obnoxious. I also have Fidelity and Vanguard. Overall while the CS site is good I prefer the Fidelity site for ease of use and tools, etc. I have had exactly 0 site issues for things like simply logging in. Vanguard has occasional issues with reverting to their old site and not being the most intuitive site to find how to do things. Voya is a weekly hassle just to log in. They've changed their log in a few times and every time they do the new site will randomly try to log back into the old site (even after clearing caches, etc.). Then about once a week you simply can't log in at all. I mean the screen will just go blank, not divert you to a maintenance message or something like that is just doesn't work for periods of time. If you call them they have no idea what you are talking about and attempt to say its your hardware or network. If you have a choice stay away.
Shady
I would give them less than 1 star, but unable to. They make you jump through hoops just to access YOUR OWN MONEY. Go to Fidelity, they seem to be more transparent and give you access to your own funds.
I did a complete 401(k) rollover to…
I did a complete 401(k) rollover to another financial institution from Voya and they took a $20 processing fee out. I had no problem with that. However, somehow $20.54 was left in the account. I called them and they said they would send me a check for the balance minus state taxes and waive the $20 fee. I received a check for 29 cents! They collected another $20 withdrawal fee when I was told it would be waived. I called them today and they said I was misinformed by the first representative. Just another way to scam customers out of another $20? I wish I could rate Voya a negative number.
Excellent Retirement Recordkeeper
I was surprised by some of the comments i saw that seemed to related to insurance policies? I have them for my 401k and they are GREAT! Their technology is world class for helping gauge where you are and where you are going, the local service guy is great and I've done 2 loans for house upgrades and had no issues. I'd recommend them for company retirement plans as ELITE!
CUSTOOMER SERVICE IS ABHORRENT!
HORRIBLE,RUN AWAY, EVEN IF YOU EMPLOYER HAS THEM AS YOUR 401K. DO NOT USE THEM GO TO YOUR LOCAL BANK OR CREDIT UNION!! THE CUSTOOMER SERVICE IS ABHORRENT!!
