Vulkan Sandals founded by David Bretd
Vulkan Sandals founded by David Bretd. Who deals with most, if not all the sales, packaging, and distribution. My guess is he works alone or with one other. Absolutely no messages received whatsoever after sending an email directing from the website, and his Etsy selling page regarding sizing and tracking number information. I made a further inquiry regards to other colour choices (seen on the website, but out of stock). My sandals did arrive around 10 days after purchase date. This was quick in my opinion coming from Germany to the UK.
My biggest complaint is with the sandals themselves. The recycled rubber compound used is diabolical and quite honestly useless. I have owned these sandals less than 2 week. Already small fragments from the rubber sole is falling off when wearing them indoors. To understand my meaning. The rubber compound used is a mix of little pieces of rubber chunks, which is then fused together with glue and heat. The only good thing is they have great grip on all surfaces including marble.
It is such a shame about the quality of the sole as the canvas footed, and the lacing system works for me. They also have a fantastic barefoot feeling. I was planning on buying more. These are also half the cost of a US company called Earth Runners, which after tax and shipping would of set me back £80. These cost £30.
