This seems like a scam, don't buy

Same experience as others I have seen here. I placed my order EU1915 on the 2nd of June. On their website it says up to 5 business days for shipment. We’re now the 18th of June and still no shipping confirmation and no tracking number. I can handle a delay, but say something at least, but no information nowhere. I contacted customer service 3 times already with no reply. I’m convinced this is starting to become a scam and I will take it up with my bank. Avoid at all costs.

Poor customer service. The towels were sent over real quick, and upon arrival, they weren’t perfect for my usage at the workout. Raised a request for return and followed up 5 times so far to get the details on the return process. It’s been many weeks since the first email sent over and there is absolutely no response to any of the emails so far.

Avoid at all costs

I placed my order EU1916 on the 3rd of June. On their website it says up to 5 business days for shipment. We’re now the 15th of June and still no shipping confirmation and no tracking number. I contacted customer service 3 times already with no reply. I’m convinced this is starting to become a scam and I will take it up with my bank. Avoid at all costs.

Placed my order on the 3rd of April…

Placed my order on the 3rd of April with "Next Day Delivery". Order number #12110.
I havent recieved my order nearly 2 months later and the carrier hasnt even recieved the parcel yet.
Tried emailing customer service 3 seperate times with no response. Unfortunately going to have to take it up with my bank or ombudsman since i cant actually speak with anyone.

They are very absorptive but unlike a fluffy hotel towel or even microfibre towel these then remain unpleasantly wet to the touch.

No customer service

I ordered two bath towels on January 8th and still not received them January 21st. I have emailed Waffl twice and not even received a reply. I’ve also tried messaging on Instagram. Also nothing. Avoid this company. They are priced like a luxury good but can’t even provide basic customer service.

Pretty impressed

Placed my order on Wednesday and received Friday afternoon so no problems with delivery. First impressions were that the towel looked and felt paper thin, I had reservations that it would be as good as claimed. It seems to dry the body quite quickly compared to my standard bath towel. I put it on the radiator to dry, made a coffee and went back half an hour later and it was bone dry, I was actually shocked at how quickly it dried. Not the cheapest towel at £34 but it does what it’s supposed to do. Would be ideal for travelling with due to its light weight and its quick drying capability. I’ll buy a few more if the price drops and get rid of my old heavy terry towling towels. I would highly recommend them.

Delivery hadn’t arrived, yet

Delivery hadn’t arrived. Waited a few days longer as it was over the new year period. Nothing… contacted customer service thru instagram- issue located and problem solved - recover my items 24hrs later! Great communication once contacted.

Order not delivered

I ordered 2 mini towels on 4th December with delivery in 2 to 3 days. I received an email confirming the order and the payment was taken.

Since then I have heard nothing. I have tried contacting customer service but heard nothing back. There doesn't appear to be a phone number to contact.

After reading a couple of these reviews, I am beginning to think that this company is a bit 'off'.

They have fancy adverts everywhere but can't seem to deliver.

I wouldn't recommend this company. In the meantime I will have to try and get a refund.

Disappointing as these towels were for a Christmas present.

Looking on our system I can see that the items that you ordered were done so on a pre-order basis, as clearly shown on the product pages as well as cart notifications, when purchasing. I can also see that we have responded to your email query within 24 hours, which I agree has been slightly longer than we would normally like, due to the current peak season, and so we are working to improve this. Your items will be dispatched in line with our pre-order dates, unless you confirm you would prefer a full refund, which we will of course issue straight away.

Parcel never got delivered

Parcel never got delivered. After reading these reviews I'm just going for refund. Avoid shower of sh##.
5 days to admit the parcel was lost. Got a refund from my bank.

Evri then marked it as delivered within 24 hours, but this update was incorrect. When you let us know the following day that the parcel hadn’t arrived, we responded immediately and began investigating—this was the day before your review was posted.

We’re very sorry you haven’t received your items. We always aim to dispatch orders quickly, but in this case our delivery partner let us down. During peak periods, responses from partner companies can occasionally take longer than usual, though we try to resolve issues as quickly as possible.

Mixed Experience - Bad customer service but good quality

Mixed Experience – Order Finally Received

I initially had a very frustrating experience with Waffl. After placing my order, I didn’t receive anything for weeks. Customer service was unresponsive for nearly three weeks, which honestly gave me the impression that something was wrong. It was only after posting negative reviews and reaching out publicly on Instagram and Trustpilot that I finally got a response and was told the order would be resent.

The package eventually arrived after more than a month, so while I did receive my order in the end, the process was stressful and poorly handled.

That said, I want to be fair: now that I’ve received the product, the quality of the towels seems great so far, and I’m happy with them.

Overall, I’d say I’m very mixed about the experience — disappointed with the customer service and delays, but satisfied with the product itself. I hope Waffl improves their communication and support, because the product quality deserves better service.

Very poor experience at the start. With a twist at he end.

Very poor experience so far.

If someone at waffl is reading this - it is outrageous that you seem to reply here (sometimes) whilst ignoring emails.

Yesterday I received my package with a discount after a rather pleasant interaction with their support. This actually worked. :)

Nice towels after some initial delays

After almost a month waiting and my initial review here, waffl customer support reached out and handle the situation very good and quick. Guess they were having some distribution issues in Europe. But after that the representative was very responsive.

Very disappointing experience.


Very disappointing experience.
Customer service initially replied saying I would receive a partial refund because my order never arrived, and that the package would be shipped the following Monday (3 days later). But nothing ever came. I only received €14 refunded, and no parcel has ever been delivered.

Since then, customer service has completely stopped responding to my messages.

I do not recommend this website at all — if there’s any problem, there is no real customer support to help you.

Edit: I’m adding one star to my review because, after posting it here, the support team contacted me to apologise and offered some discounts.
I chose to request a full refund and cancel the order, and after a few days the money was returned to my bank account.

I’m not removing this review, as they asked me to, but I am updating it. They did not respond to any of my emails when I contacted their support directly; they only reached out after I posted the 1-star review.
