I really liked the formulation that was in the aluminium tube, specifically the spearmint flavour, but the new formula in the new packaging unfortunately I have to agree with others that the taste and texture isn't nearly as nice. It used to have a clean, natural and mild spearmint taste, now it tastes more medicinal to me. I also preferred the old packaging although I understand why it changed, but the cap is quite hard to close properly. Hopefully this can be took onboard for the future

Love this toothpaste! Others made the lining of mouth peel off like cling film but not Waken.
However I hate your plastic tubes, I really struggle to get the cap to close properly with a click, def a backwards step to me. Would have been 5 * but from that.,

Yesterday I posted my review about my disappointment with the dispatch/delivery of my Waken order. I am pleased to say the customer service from the Waken team was excellent, answering my email on a Sunday and taking the time to call me on the Monday. They were apologetic about the issue and have taken steps to provide a solution. If you have not tried their products I would recommend.

I loved the dental floss of this company. I wanted to try this company mainly because they are cruelty free and I am very happy with my decision.

I faced some issues with one order (that was the courier's fault and not the company's) and they went above and beyond to resolve my issue.

The new packaging is really cheap and feels like this company’s focus is cutting costs. We have been using the aluminium tubes for a long time and they were durable with no splits in the tube experienced. This type of packaging is more environmentally friendly than the plastic used. The ingredients have changed and the traditional spearmint and peppermint flavours were great. The new formula is not at all nice. Why change something that was obviously really successful with customers unless you are wanting to cut costs drastically to fund a large scale expansion. What a shame.

I was excited to try a more sustainable, alcohol free enamel care mouthwash after spotting it in Tesco.
However, the initial taste is fine, but now my mouth and my breath tastes like dish soap! It's a horrid taste. I've had to drink water to get rid of the flavour and that defeats the point of using mouthwash if you drink so soon afterwards. Yuck.

No longer a sustainable option. Used to be metal tube which is so much more likely to be recycled. Now plastic. Doesn’t make it ok just because it’s recyclable…it’s highly unlikely to actually get recycled and will end up in landfill. Why the backwards move?

After years of toothpaste issues and suffering from a gooey mouth, sensitive teeth, I finally found many years ago this toothpaste by sheer fluke. It turned out to be the best thing I ever did and now they’ve discontinued it. I cannot use standard toothpaste. I am stressing to know what to do now so have written to awaken. It IS the best!

I bought a Waken sonic toothbrush. Firstly I was impressed with the compact packaging, less waste. Secondly I liked the compact charging stand which was magnetic for extra safety. Thirdly I was so pleased to see a ‘normal-shaped’ toothbrush head to give better coverage. Last, but not least, the cleaning experience was beyond every electronic toothbrush I have used in the past, with three different modes to accommodate for needs. A bonus would have been a replacement head within the package, but at a reasonable cost purchase is not burdensome.

This is one toothpaste brand that i have had an amazing experience with! I have to say that the toothpaste actually cleans my teeth and even helps with bad breath as well! But any other toothpaste brands, I've had trouble with them but this brand is amazing and actually cleans your teeth without any harmful ingredients as well! I highly recommend this for those who are struggling to find the right toothpaste for daily use.

Love Waken toothpaste because it’s SLS free after suffering 30plus years with severe ulcers found that SLS is what was causing them used sensodyne for many years but since they changed their formula found my ulcers returned after trying waken they have gone again so happy I stock up when on offer many thanks

As someone who doesn't like strong mouthwash flavours (they burn my mouth), this mouthwash has been revolutionary for me! It isn't too expensive, it doesn't contain any toxic ingredients, and it leaves your mouth feeling clean and fresh. Other reviews mention a soapy taste, I have not had this experience at all, so they either bought a defective product or there is an ingredient that some may be more sensitive to tasting. I would recommend this to everyone!

Tastes so unbelievably bad! Regret my purchase and definitely won’t be repurchasing. Disgusting

To all the people who left bad reviews: do you buy toothpaste or mouthwash just for the picture on the bottle?? Are you like 10?... I grew up in a dentist family and I am sooo happy I have discovered this mouthwash as it is the only brand in UK (apart from one original Corsadyl) that doesnt have SLS which is veeeery very bad for you. Its ingredients are FANTASTIC no alcohol,no sls, different flavour options,generous bottle and plus it has fluoride. Super impressed!!! I used to ship Curasept and Curaprox mouthwash from italy and switzerland as UK doesnt have those goodies for some reason, but super happy i discovered Waken which is just as good!!!! Highly recommend :) bought Whitening one (pepermint) for morning and Mint&Strawberry for evening. Loving both flavours!

Bought mint flavor mouthwash and very unimpressed flavor was more soap than mint!. Emailed company with all details re this but no response. I note someone else said they dont respond to emsils... says a lot Obviously not very trustworthy. Was going to try a different flavor but won't bother now. DAVID CIRULIS

I recently bought waken mouth wash mint and strawberry flavour and it is lovely. I only picked this flavour because it was the cheapest but found it was really nice . So ordered 2 more off Amazon . Will be trying the others also .

Mouthwash flavors are pleasing tho the new cheap packaging is vile.

I love Waken mouthwashes, BUT the new packaging is just awful. It use to be so nice and original. Now the bottles look cheap. Very disappointing...😔 Bring back the old packaging, please 🙏

I used to love the mouthwash, but it's been rebranded and looks really cheap. The taste of it has changed too.

Hope both can be changed back again.
