The worst customer service there is in copenhagen

One of the worst hotels in copenhagen customer service wise. They refused any king of refund (even partial) when I needed to change my reservation to reduce the stay by one day because the person I went with had made a parallel booking. So even though I would be staying in the same hotel, and paying, they refused to adjust my reservation. Full disregard for the customer. Ended up having to pay two overlapping reservations. Plus rooms are terrible, small and not cleane.

I already wrote one review but I had to…

I already wrote one review but I had to do another one . I have travelled > 40 years in different countries but I had never faced as poor experience. The hotel staff was rude and they charged me extra nights allthought they knew that was wrong. They lied to booking.com about my stay and tried to keep the extra payment. I had to dig all the documents to convince booking.com about my stay. I have never ever had so bad experience before. And this happend in Scandinavia, where One thinks that people are honest. I will never use booking.com again and of course never stay in Wakeup hotel again . Before my stay there was also s hacking insident in the hotel system and they tried to fish my payment .

Staff were friendly but this is budget…

Staff were friendly but this is budget and they will charge you for everything they can. Room wasn't very clean and bathroom has like frosted glass instead of a wall and train station near by so trains go by every few seconds and bar that plays music late in to the night. Just pay extra and stay somewhere else

Terrible service for professionals

Terrible service for professionals

I had by mistake and pressed a wrong date exactly one month ahead, for a stay for my colleague who came from Portugal a late night. He was standing in the hotel lobby a late Tuesday night and no one there was interested in helping him figure what was wrong on the night. All he could do, was to make another booking (which he even had to do on his own phone, else he would see an additional service fee when booking at the counter).

Following this, I called their booking department and explained them the situation politely. Even though they got their money and could easily see that the first booking exactly a month later was a human mistake, they were not interested in helping cancelling that stay, as they still had the right to keep it, since it was an "economy". While I fully understand they had the right to stand on that, it seems like a completely unnecessary thing to do. They already got the money for the booking on the intended dates and the following unintended booking was more than a month ahead of time and on regular weekdays. So I have a hard time seeing that it would in any way have harmed them to give a bit of service and to cancel it, in this situation. However they choose the "short sighted" solution to keep the 2500 DKK and instead of getting a happy customer they got a very disappointed one. As a consequence it will be the absolutely last time ever that my company will book a room with them.

Be mindful that the hotel is charging…

Be mindful that the hotel is charging you 100 DKK per extra day of locker use.

They do not communicate upfront about this whatsoever (except in tiny letters lost in a paragraph on a label inside the locker).

I realized this when opening my locker after 30 days - my luggage was no longer there! They had taken my luggage out of it.

I also disapprove the GEneral manager’s behavior: When I emailed the GM to inform him about this dishonest action (=not communicating upfront about the possible fees), he showed no sign of empathy at all and simply pointed out it was written somewhere after all.

Criminals

I was refered to Wakeup Copenhagen Bernstoffsgadee by the administration of my new appartmentblock. At Wakeup Copenhagen I was "gangstalked" by some of the thousands of younger people that have joined a smearpaign about me in Copenhagen. I have been bullied out of appartments since 8 years ago because of this. And I was now waiting at Wakeup Copenahgen for at new apartment. The buiding ore the legalization of the new apartment project was delayed a month. Thats why I was a Wakeup Copenhagen. Wakeup Copenhagen covered all the harasssment up, and made it out as though I was crazy. And said that if I didnt not leave, they would call some kind of state authority. But they did not do that. I wish they would have. Cause this is a huge crime and scandale in Denmark that goes onnuticed since I am to broken to take anymore and noone hears me when I speak out. I am a citizen and I have the right to live and survive in my own homeland. This "gangstalking" at Wakeup happened under the pride parade, and some of the danish people that joined in the bullying campaign where originally located at the hotel to join the parade. Isnt that ironic. Hatecrime under the pride parade. By some of the people that say they are most vulnareble to hatecrime.

I would stay away from Wakeup, if I was you. Not because you will be harassed like me, but because, if this happens frelee and openly so everybody can see it in this hotel. Everything can happen at this hotel. And also I might want to stay away from Copenhagen all together. Its just surface. Everything about Copenhagen hype. I want all my money from a month in hell, and for giving my name and information about me to other people to further misuse.

I should also say that Wakeup is the usual suspect in Copenhagen in regards to new construction. They have saved a lot of money and cut cornetd where they could. There is absolutly no privacy in the rooms.

Gangstalked, as in NO green men, stage theater ore gouverment survailence involved.

Ok but some of the staff not very friendly

Ok rooms, very clean, ok breakfast. The guy working at the breakfast-reception, a mr. Wai, was not very friendly towards us. A friendly "hi" to the guest entering the restaurant area would be nice. For the danish guests he seemed to have smiles and friendly words to spare but not for us...

Worst deal ever. Never using it again and cant recommend it for anybody

This is an experience i cant recommend anybody to try.
First there was some error with the booking search not doing as it should. Result i came to pay double and the company will not refund.
Then at last i arrived at the hotel. First impression was good. clean cold in heat. All that changed when came to the room.
IT was hot. over 30 degrees in room. And even with the aircondition on all night, at lowest temp, it was still that temperature next morning.
There was only bedcloth and towels prepared for 1 person. we was 2 and booked 2.
The room was small. lucky we only had 1 suitcase else i think there would not have been room for people beside in the bed. The bathroom small but at least clean. So you can easy find much better hotel in Copenhagen for even cheaper money. So please never book here and save yourself the trouble.
