Walking with Poets Reviews 4

An interesting walk giving new insight into a well known area of London for us. The walk took us through landmarks accompanied by poetry and we found a couple of places for morning coffee and lunch that we had not visited before. It encouraged us to stop and look around at buildings and places we have previously taken for granted. A really enjoyable morning!

This tour was so innovative and like nothing I have done before. Not only were the attractions and monuments so interesting and real hidden gems, the poetry to accompany particular stops was beautiful and really added to the experience. I particularly enjoyed the array of book shops and music stores included in the tour – it really showed how London is such a creative and cultural hub! I would love for these tours to expand into more areas of London – maybe Shoreditch/ Brick Lane?

A very enjoyable tour! The route is really well designed to allow you to explore central London, and I appreciated that I could take my time in the suggested attractions before continuing the tour. The poems are great and made the experience feel very unique. The instructions were well written and easy to follow. I'm looking forward to doing more tours with Walking with Poets.

I really enjoyed this tour and got constantly pulled into shop after shop and cafe after cafe because there are so many interesting places and famous stops along the route I found it easier than I expected to follow from the details sent to my mobile. I enjoyed listening to Luke Jamie's poems outside iconic venues and places along the tour which made this such a unique experience. I'm going to try the next tour I can with him. Do allow lots of time! Even though it could be done in a hour or so it could fill a day with so much to do 'en route'.
