Great platform for people trying to break into the industry. Sometimes the threads can get a bit out of topic.

WSO has been a life changer for me, it was the go to resource when I was in college and there is a great community of folks from high finance.

The instructor is able to answer very fast my doubts about the course. All the team WSO is very efficient.

I Chose the modelling course because everybody knows that you don’t learn excel at school, you need to practice by yourself. The course takes you step by step from the most bac financial statement construction to detailed DCF financial modelling. Even if you don’t know anything about excel everything is very clear. I was scared that I would lack some excel proficiency when I first started my M&A internship last September but thanks to this class I was even helping my intern peers when they were struggling and impressed the analysts and associates in charge of me. Moreover, being proficient in excel modelling helped me focus on other tasks and occasionally finish sooner in the evening

Found this website in the middle of my junior year of high school. Although the terms used were originally daunting, a few weeks of daily visits to this websites lured me into the field of high-finance. This website took me from an unaware student who had no idea what people on Wall Street did, to a student who is now prepared for his journey in college and beyond. Kudos to Patrick and the WSO team for putting together this invaluable source that has not only guided me, but thousands of other high-finance aspirants.

The Venture Capital course is a must for anyone interested in a career in VC or just learning more about the subject matter. The course starts out high level covering the role of VC in the broader finance landscape and then zooms in and gets quite granular on specific term sheet terms, calculations, etc.

This course was incredibly helpful. Understanding the fundamentals of evaluating an early-stage company and the industry terminologies came in handy during my interviews.

WSO is hands down the best online resource available to aspiring candidates or current members engaged in finance/consulting/professional services. The amount of helpful information, direct and honest feedback and other tips and tricks being offered is overwhelming. It's truly an essential tool in the recruitment process and beyond. Confident is saying this as I've benefited directly from using the website and have been a user/small contributor/reader for 10+ years now.

Let's be honest - we all want to know how our compensation stacks up against our peers and what we can aspire to if we stick it out in banking. There is no better resource for benchmarking comp than Wall Street Oasis. Emphatic 5 Stars!

I've had a great time on the website, both for more light-hearted style posts and for more serious ones as well. I appreciate the OFF section of the website, allowing for more water-cooler style conversations to be in a different spot from the rest of the forums. Most especially useful are regular discussions of how to succeed as a finance professional, and on compensation and bonuses. These help me to get a good idea of how I should perform, and how I should expect to be rewarded.

You have to sift thru the rift raft because the community is wrought with short males who have tiny d*cks and alot of money. By and large, the tone is disrespectful towards each other, but potentially informative depending on what you're looking for. Maybe 3 stars.

Before this guide, I was lost on the technical and behavioral aspects of the IB interview process. This course goes beyond the typical 3 statement, walk me through DCF questions that most guides give you.

The best thing about the course was the amount of veteran insight the instructors provide. That invaluable advice helped me gain confidence in the process, which lead to me landing at a BB!!

The Investment Banking Guide contains everything a beginner needs in order to lend interviews and jobs. Its value does not stop at simply elaborating the right interview answers (like 400 IB questions and some other peers in the street), but explains what's expected and socially acceptable in the finance world. It helped me lend an awesome Hedge Fund gig right out of undergrad. Now as a finance professional, I see that the content acts as a set of basic rules and principles one must follow and understand in order to fit in into the elite world of top finance.

Something I think would ease the flow of information would be to have sort of a Fast Track - simply combining the most important videos to nail an interview when you have ~1 day to prep (that was my case and I had to select the most important ones on my own, which was likely less efficient than what you guys would have recommended given your expertise in training prospective monkeys.)

The videos on the course are great and insightful, but some video topics get a little random later on.

Another feedback that I think might help you guys commercially is the fact that I have met people who have the PDFs of the courses without buying them (some friend likely shared it). I think having full access is much more valuable than the PDF, however, I think it would help if you made it more difficult to do that - either through password requirements on the PDF or to somehow encrypt the document in another format to avoid this.

I found this course extremely informative and easy to use. I had a finance internship last summer and this course did a much better job at making me competent at Excel

My resume reads incredibly different than it did prior to WSOs service. I was assigned a professional to assist with rewriting. They made it very clear how it should read and exactly what I should say. My background is extremely unconventional for finance so utilizing this service has been extremely pivotal.

Greatly helped me on my path to investment banking and beyond to find relevant information, get connected to fellow students as well as seasoned professionals, prepare for interviews, evaluate offers, navigate the career and explore future opportunities. Even made a few friends and business contacts along the way. Fantastic community!

I would give 4.5 stars if I could. Website and app are great! My only peeve is that the app interface doesn’t automatically adjust with my phone’s day/night mode (right now it is only manual). Spam posts used to be an issue but that is greatly improved now!

Excellent resource for all things finance

The best site I used to get information on different career on wall street. With it I was able to get internships in Investment Banking, Private Equity, and one of the largest hedge funds in the world. I would recommend it to anyone interested in finance!
