Disappointingly it’s their way or the highway. Despite making you as a buyer agree terms and a contract with WC and stating at Clause 9.9 you must agree a contract yourself with the seller they discourage any such contract and encourage you to pay the money to the seller - which you are yourself unable to conduct any KYC or AntiMoneyLaundering measures on. Feels like the process maybe open to fraud.
When you ask for their assistance to agree a short contract of sale they advise ‘this platform is not for you’. Perhaps more legal training needed for salespeople.
Despite the claims of checks of the Watchregister loss databases WC said they don’t ask the seller if the watch is lost stolen or fake on consignment.
A prime example we saw was a Rolex watch seller listed their watch with the wrong manual and admitted they were a dealer - after these red flags buyers wrote to WC but they ignored them and the auction was allowed to proceed to conclusion. due diligence on the seller? Due diligence on the watch and it’s papers?

Well done Natalie - thank you for your assistance with this transaction
Should aim to maximise the sale price rather than the speed of the sale
Very smooth and efficient bidding and after bid process. Responsive and kind customer service agents. Mark was most helpful on the handover date, very kind and professional. 5 stars well deserved
Good advise and close communication. Any questions were met with an immediate response from Fleur Dubois and she also helped me in getting photographs taken at the compan's office.
When the auction was coming to a conclusion I had conversations with Fleur regarding the reserve which helped the sale and meant the original reserve was almost achieved.
The whole process was simple and efficient. Mark couldn't have been more helpful, and was always at hand to answer any queries. I've used other auction sites in the past and Watch Collecting is by far the best.
Straightforward and great communication with the consultant at Watch Collecting. I will use them again
I received excellent service and support in my recent purchase via the auction platform. A very minor issue was addressed quickly and sensibly, and the watch (entirely as described) was in my possession within a short period of time. Will no doubt use again.
Fantastic and easy experience selling my Patek Philippe. Fleur was super helpful and quick to answer any queries I had. Would definitely use again.
Very disappointing experience
Genuinely bid on a watch and person I was up against over bid by £22,000 so stopped any further bids from me
When I queried this I was told genuine mistake and they have come to an agreement
So basically bid what you like and agree the sale after so genuine buyers have no chance
Will never use again

Professional service from Natalie and good communication.
Everything worked exactly as it should’ve . This site was recommend to me by other serious watch purchasers and I would now recommend to others.
The customer help after the purchase is perfect, thank you so much for everything!
Excellent service from start to finish. Very pleased.
Very easy to use, brilliant customer support and aftercare. Low fees for the buyers and no fees for the sellers! Highly recommend
From start to finish either selling or buying watches the service has been first class.
Fleur and Alex were fantastic! Sold an AP for me, quickly and hassle free. Fleur was a pleasure to deal with.
Dealt with Oliver Roberts from start to finish regarding the sale of my watch. I was invited to the office to take advantage of their professional photography to paint the best picture of my watch to potential clients. The watch sold first time round at a figure that I was very happy with. I found the guidance provided during the service and the auction very helpful. Couldn't of asked for better service from Oliver and the team. Happy Customer!
Great service. Simple and effective way to buy and sell quality items
