Renewed subscription without letting me know in advance. When queried Emma from watched said a refund is not possible as I never cancelled beforehand which I obviously would have done!

I had a yearly subscription with Watched.com which was automatically renewed without any prior notification, in clear violation of EU consumer protection laws. I cancelled the renewal on the same day, having never used the renewed service, and requested a refund.

Their response? A vague confirmation of cancellation – but no acknowledgment of the unauthorised charge and no refund issued.

This is not just bad service – it’s an unfair commercial practice

Beware of scammers! The app mostly worked reliably until a few weeks ago, but two subscriptions were suddenly charged (with one login), which were extended without consent or advance notice. The support isn't much help and you have to pull every answer out of them. The watched website is mostly unavailable. Business practice more than dubious. Wouldn't recommend anyone to buy premium.

Recently I was charged £42.46 from Watched. I first paid and joined well over a year ago. The service within 4 weeks for providing aĺ I wanted to watch (in english) disappeared! I called a few time and was told how this reeealy works ! I accepted and nodded down asked for my account to be removed. 1 year later I get charged again.! Fast response from help team first of all, but when I mentioned I have not used the service for over a year.....I .........yep no response at all!. Noot happy and think a refund is more than necessary. I will be taking this matter further, as I am also concerned for others that are being ripped off.
