Watch Harbor is great to add to your collection

I have purchased about 15 mystery watches and will keep getting more. The company is a very cool concept and have great customer service. Out of the 15, I have received a 1980s quartz Omega and a 1990s Tank Cartier, so the company does send out the Luxury pieces. The negative reviews all mostly state how they received a watch worth less than what they paid for which makes sense, otherwise how could the company afford to give out luxury pieces? It is very cool that even if you do not pull a luxury piece, you still get a watch. Thank you!

Thank you so much for this, reviews like this really mean a lot to us.

Firstly, 15 drops is serious commitment, and we genuinely appreciate the continued trust. Landing a 1980s Omega quartz and a 1990s Cartier Tank is incredible, both are timeless pieces and amazing additions to any collection.

You’ve also explained the concept exactly as it’s designed. The mystery format only works because the allocation is balanced across the entire drop. Some watches will sit below the entry price, some around it, and some well above it, that structure is what allows luxury pieces to be included while still making the drop viable. Every entry has the same random chance, and every participant receives a watch.

What we’re really building, though, is more than just the “pull.” It’s the anticipation, the community, the conversations, and the fact that even if you don’t land a top-tier piece, you still receive something tangible to add to your collection.

We truly appreciate you taking the time to explain the concept from a customer’s perspective, that kind of balanced feedback helps others understand how it works.

Enjoy those pieces in good health, and thank you again for being such a consistent part of the journey.

I got another mystery watch back in…

I got another mystery watch back in January as a Pre Order, and what a great experience it has been. My watch arrived in Feb, a lovely vintage luxury piece from Omega, the best watch I have in my collection by far!

I paid 109 gbp for my box, and it arrived very well packaged. I took part in the first drop in August and this project has come so far. Better watches, with warranty cards, better boxes, its still a luck of the draw, but that is the MAIN CONCEPT with the drop. The chance to pull a luxury piece, by the looks of it, all of the other reviews seem to think the only purpose of this is to give you a watch worth more then what you have paid, how would that be possible guys, be for real, do more research into what your buying. Also seems all the negative reviews is just from people wanting their money back since they didnt get a luxury watch, kind of scummy from the customers really

I have never seen Watch Harbor put any misinformation out, they are solid guys. They dont promise a watch more thenw atch you paid or a vintage piece every time (even tho lots of watches are vintage)

Block out the haters guys, keep smashing it

Thank you for this, it genuinely means a lot to read.

Firstly, congratulations on the vintage Omega piece. For £109 to land something that’s now your favourite in the collection is exactly the kind of moment the concept is built around.

It’s also great to hear you’ve seen the progression since the first drop in August. We have worked hard behind the scenes to improve presentation, introduce warranty cards, upgrade packaging and strengthen quality control while keeping the mystery format intact.

You explained the concept perfectly. It is luck of the draw. The structure has to be balanced across the entire drop in order for luxury pieces to exist within it. We have never promised that every watch will exceed the entry price or that every box will contain a vintage luxury piece. What we promise is a transparent brand lineup, a fixed allocation and a fair random process.

We also appreciate you recognising that we publicly show the brands before each drop and do not misrepresent what is included. That transparency is important to us.

Most importantly, thank you for the continued support since August. Seeing returning members enjoy the experience and understand the concept is what keeps us pushing to improve every month.

Enjoy that Omega in good health and we will see you in the next drop.

Cool concept, but better to stay away and spend money elsewhere.
Ordered a Special edition pre order drop, price 109£ before tax.
Received a mystery unknown watch that could have been bought for 16,99£ on ebay.
I guess that's the mystery box concept.

Hi,

Thank you for sharing your feedback.

We completely understand how receiving a lower end piece in a Special Edition drop can feel frustrating, especially when you had higher hopes going into it. The concept is built around a fully random allocation within the announced brand lineup, which means outcomes can vary significantly from box to box. Some participants receive higher value luxury pieces, while others will receive watches positioned at the lower end of the category. That balance is what allows the higher tier pieces to exist in the same drop.

Before each drop goes live, we publish the full brand lineup across our website and in a showcase video on YouTube so customers can see exactly which brands are included before deciding to enter.

That said, we never want someone to feel misled. If you would like us to review your specific allocation, please email us your order number and we will double check that everything matched the advertised structure for that drop.

We genuinely appreciate you giving the concept a try, even if this one did not land the way you hoped.

Nice idea on paper, but...

Watch mystery boxes is genuinely an interesting initiative, and I can see how it could work well under the right conditions. However, there are a few important points worth noting.

The concept of having watch enthusiasts scout the market for vintage and rare pieces is highly appealing. The idea of purchasing a watch, whether affordable or high-end, that carries history, is carefully restored, and given a second life is compelling.

That said, receiving a brand new Limit watch, one that could simply be purchased directly from their website for £20, undermines the entire premise of the initiative.

I understand and accept the possibility of receiving a watch that may be worth less than the cost of the service. What I cannot accept is the possibility of receiving a brand-new, inexpensive watch. That creates the impression that such items are included with minimal effort, simply to increase volume rather than to uphold the original concept.

Under these circumstances, I would not feel comfortable recommending participation.

Hi,

Thank you for taking the time to explain your perspective so clearly.

Before each drop goes live, we publicly show the full brand lineup included in that release on our website and in our showcase video on YouTube. The February lineup, including all participating brands, was available to view prior to purchase so customers could make an informed decision.

Limit was part of the advertised brand list for that category, so while it may not be vintage, it does align with what was shown before the drop went live. Our drops are structured around the disclosed brands within each tier rather than guaranteeing age, rarity, or resale value on every piece.

We completely understand your point about the appeal of restored, vintage, or historically interesting watches. A large portion of what we source fits that description, but the allocation is balanced across the full lineup. Some pieces will be vintage, some pre owned modern, and occasionally some will be newer production models from the announced brands. That mix is what allows higher value pieces to exist within the same category.

That said, we appreciate the feedback regarding expectations around “vintage” versus “new.” If that distinction needs to be communicated more clearly, that is something we can improve.

We never want anyone to feel misled, and we stand by showing the full brand lineup publicly before every drop so customers know exactly which brands are included.

Hi,

Thank you for the balanced feedback, we genuinely appreciate it.

We understand what you are saying regarding value. The structure of the drops is designed so that the overall allocation supports the inclusion of higher end and luxury pieces, which means individual outcomes can vary. Some watches will land below the entry price, some around it, and some significantly above it. That balance is what allows pieces from brands like Omega or Rolex to be included within the same category.

That said, we are constantly reviewing sourcing, condition, brand mix and overall allocation to improve perceived value and long term customer satisfaction. The project is still evolving and feedback like yours plays a part in shaping future drops.

We truly believe in the concept and we are committed to refining it month by month. Thank you for recognising the potential and for taking the time to share your thoughts.

Very disappointing

Received the February mystery box and I was very disappointed, I understand the concept of a mystery box but getting a watch that I can get for £16 wasn’t what I expected from a £60 (70€) box. Also wasn’t expecting a 15€ delivery fee + 25€ more for a tax in Spain. In total was 105€ (92£) for a 16£ watch. I wasn’t expecting a Rolex but this is extremely disappointing I will not be using again.

Hi Adrian,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, and I’m genuinely sorry to hear how disappointed you felt with your February box.

We completely understand that while the concept is a mystery drop, there’s still an expectation that the piece feels fair relative to the entry price. Our drops are structured so that higher-value watches are balanced across the full allocation, which means some outcomes will sit at the lower end of the category. That randomness is what allows the larger wins to exist, but we never want someone to feel like the experience wasn’t worthwhile.

Regarding shipping and import charges to Spain: the delivery fee is shown at checkout, and unfortunately customs/VAT fees are set by your local authorities, not by us. We don’t add or control those charges, but we understand they can significantly increase the overall cost once the parcel arrives.

That said, we do take feedback like this seriously. If you’re open to it, please email us your order number so we can review your specific box and make sure everything was allocated correctly within the advertised structure.

We truly appreciate you giving us a try, and even if this one wasn’t the experience you hoped for, your feedback helps us improve.

Kind regards,
Cameron

One of the best Experiences ever as a Watch Enthousiast

First of all i want to thank Cameron and his team for their efforts while building such a unique community. He's super responsive despite such a huge comunity he's been running. I've been a part of this group since October 2025, sharing experiences, meeting with other watch enthousiasts and attending the Mystery Drop ever since.

During these drops there were times i received average watches like Casio, then there were times i received high end luxury watches like Rolex Datejust or Vintage Girard Perregaux. As it says in the name it's all about the Mystery. I never thought i'd get my first Rolex like this. And it's in perfect condition. Every watch i have received so far was very well maintained with a brand new strap or original strap refurbished.

Also i need to add, when i received an "average" watch he was so kind to offer me a vaucher code that covers a good amount of the next drop and when i couldn't use the vaucher during the drop due to system errors he offered me to refund the whole drop and send me the mystery box anyway.

Its more about the fun and the mystery that attracts you to the concept. Keep it chill, enjoy and share the excitement, socialize with other watch enthousiasts and appreciate people's efforts guys.

Hey Muhammet, this genuinely means a lot. Thank you for taking the time to write such a detailed review.

Since October 2025 you’ve really been part of the community, and seeing members engage, attend drops, and share their experiences is exactly what this is all about.

Huge congratulations again on landing a Rolex Datejust, getting your first Rolex through a Mystery Drop is something special. And the Vintage Girard-Perregaux piece was a great one too.

We’ve always said it’s about the mystery, the community, and the experience, not just the outcome. Some drops land average, some land big, but the process is always the same and we’ll always do our best to make things right if something doesn’t go smoothly.

Thank you for the trust, the positivity, and for being part of what we’re building. Enjoy the pieces in good health, and we’ll see you in the next drop 🙌

20euro watch at a 173euro price

I entered in the Special Edition 3 months -> 399 euro.
I received my watch today. I had to pay 40 euro extra as import taxes. I received my watch today: a 20 euro Qmax. So the balance 20 euro - 173 euro doesn't seem very correct.

We’re really sorry to hear how disappointed you feel after receiving your watch, especially after entering three Special Edition drops.

We do want to clarify a few important points. Omax was shown in the official pre drop YouTube video before that release went live. That video is shared across all of our social channels, linked directly on the product page, and remains publicly available so customers can review the full brand mix at any time before and after purchasing.

In addition, Omax is specifically listed within the product description as one of the more affordable brands that could be received in that drop. We always aim to be transparent about the range of brands included so customers can make an informed decision.

With the Special Edition category, there is always a spread of values in the mix. We have to include some more affordable pieces in order to make it possible to offer the higher value watches within the same drop. In that particular release, there were 17 watches valued anywhere from approximately £200 up to £3500. That structure is what allows the format to work.

Regarding import taxes, these are unfortunately determined by your country’s customs authorities and are outside of our control. We understand that additional fees can be frustrating, but they are not charges set or kept by us.

We do appreciate that mystery formats are not for everyone, especially when expectations are high. That said, we stand by the transparency of how each drop is presented and advertised.

Kind Regards,
Cameron

We’re really sorry to hear that you feel this way after your first order.

We’d just like to clarify that we have never claimed that every single watch in every drop is vintage. While the majority of pieces we source are vintage, not all of them are. Before each drop goes live, we publish a full YouTube video showcasing the exact brands included in that release. In those videos, we have clearly shown models such as the Tissot PRX, Casio pieces and other modern watches alongside vintage options to demonstrate the full range of what could be received.

Casio has been shown as a possible option in our videos, and those videos are linked directly on our website and shared across our social platforms. They remain publicly available so customers can review the brand mix before purchasing.

In order to make the mystery format possible and include higher value watches within the same drop, there has to be a spread of values and styles included. That means some more affordable and modern pieces are part of the mix alongside vintage watches.

We understand that mystery purchases are not for everyone, especially if you were specifically hoping for a vintage-only piece.

Mystery Watch Drop Review

I ordered the Mystery Watch – Special Edition and was deeply disappointed with what arrived.
The watch I received is worth no more than €10, and even at that price it would be substandard — the dial and movement are loose inside the case. It turned out to be a basic Lorus Quartz: a mass-produced, contemporary watch with nothing special about it. The packaging was equally cheap and flimsy.
All of this for €130, plus import costs.
What frustrates me most is that this concept could have been genuinely exciting. If Watch Harbor had real knowledge of vintage watches, they could easily source interesting, authentic pieces for around €50 that would actually justify the mystery box experience. Instead, this feels like a cynical cash grab targeting enthusiasts who trust the brand.
Very disappointing. I hope others are warned before spending their money on this.

We’re genuinely sorry to read this and to hear how disappointed you were with your Special Edition order.

First of all, if the dial and movement are loose inside the case, that is not acceptable. Regardless of the value tier, the watch should arrive in proper working condition. Please contact us directly with photos or a short video and we will review this immediately and resolve it appropriately.

We also want to address a couple of important points. We do have real knowledge of vintage watches and a strong background in sourcing them. A large portion of what we source each month is vintage, and we take pride in curating a varied and interesting mix. However, we have never stated that every watch in every drop is vintage. Some drops include contemporary pieces alongside vintage models, and this is clearly shown before each release.

Before every drop goes live, we publish a full YouTube video showcasing all brands included. That video is linked on the product page, shared across our social channels and remains publicly available. We do this specifically so customers can see the full range of brands and make an informed decision.

It is simply not possible to make every watch worth 50 euro or more and at the same time offer 25 luxury watches within the same drop. The structure relies on a spread of values. Some watches will exceed the entry price significantly, while others will fall below it. That balance is what makes the opportunity for higher value pieces possible, and this is clearly explained in our videos.

We understand that the mystery format is not for everyone, and we are sorry this experience did not meet your expectations.

Kind Regards,
Cameron

I recently purchased a mystery drop…

I recently purchased a mystery drop watch from Watch Harbor and was pleasantly surprised with the outcome. The watch I received was an Accurist, and the overall quality exceeded expectations for the price point. It has clean finishing, balanced proportions, and a classic design that works well for both everyday and formal wear. It feels solid on the wrist and has been keeping accurate time so far.

Communication during my first order was smooth and professional, and the watch arrived securely packaged and exactly as described within days despite international shipping. The mystery drop concept adds an element of excitement, and in my case, the result was definitely worthwhile. I am currently awaiting my second order and based on my initial experience, I’m optimistic it will be handled well.

Overall, a positive experience and good value for money.

We’re really sorry to hear you feel this way, and we’d genuinely like the opportunity to look into this properly for you.

If you’re happy to, please contact our team directly and let us know exactly which watch you received. That will allow us to review the specific piece and respond more accurately.

With our Special Edition drops, we are always very clear that the format includes a range of values. In order to offer customers the chance of receiving watches valued at up to £3,500, some pieces in the mix will naturally be valued below the box price. We make this clear before every drop through:

A full YouTube video outlining all brands included

Linking that video directly on our website

Sharing the details across our social channels and groups before launch

We aim to be as transparent as possible so customers can make an informed decision before purchasing. The mystery concept does involve risk, and while many customers are thrilled with their pieces, we understand it won’t feel worthwhile to everyone.

Regarding shipping, it does not cost £20 for UK shipping?

We’d genuinely welcome the chance to speak with you directly and resolve your concerns.

Watch Harbor - The new innovate way of purchasing quality vintage watches

I cant recommend watch Harbor enough, this new and exciting way of purchasing vintage watches, for margins of the price with the anticipation and surprise of not knowing what your going to receive is refreshing.

I’ve purchased 6 watches now from both luxury and special categories and received watches from brands such as Omega, rotary, tissot, seiko, Raymond Weil and Woodford. They have all been genuine vintage pieces and in working order and I’ve been extremely happy with all received.
Communication has always been fantastic and all pieces have arrived safely with no issues.

Once again I can’t recommend this new innovative way of purchasing quality vintage watches.

Disappointed

Received the February mystery box and was very excited like most people would have been. Firstly I was very disappointed in the packaging, the box was damaged and everything about it felt cheap. I understand the concept of a mystery box but getting a watch that I can get for £15 of Amazon from a “Premium Box” wasn’t what I expected from a £60 box. Also wasn’t expecting a £10 delivery fee when you are based only an hour away from me. A far lower delivery charge would be expected. It may just of been my experience but it wasn’t a good one. If a refund is possible then I would be more than happy.

We’re really sorry to hear that your February Premium Box didn’t meet your expectations, especially when you were understandably excited to receive it.

Firstly, regarding the watch itself, we want to be clear that we do not purchase watches from Amazon to include in our drops. Every month, before a drop goes live, we publish a full YouTube video showcasing all brands included in that specific release. That video is also linked on our website so customers can review the full mix in advance. This is part of our commitment to being transparent about what could be received.

With any mystery format, there has to be a range of values included. In order to make the drops possible, and to offer customers the opportunity to receive significantly higher-value watches, some pieces in the mix will naturally be more affordable. We always try to communicate this clearly before purchase so expectations are set upfront.

Regarding delivery, shipping costs are calculated and shown at checkout before payment is made. While we understand you’re located around an hour away, parcels are sent via courier rather than hand-delivered, and the shipping fee reflects packaging, insurance and handling as well as postage itself, not just distance.

That said, we’re genuinely sorry the overall experience, including the packaging, felt underwhelming. We do share a video almost every day showcasing the exact packaging that arrives. If the box arrived damaged, that’s something we’d absolutely want to review with the courier.

We are genuinely sorry to read your review. Choosing one of the higher tier drops naturally comes with bigger expectations and we understand why you would feel frustrated if the watch did not meet them.

If you are open to it, please contact us directly with the exact model you received so we can review it properly. Prices seen online, especially on second hand marketplaces, can vary significantly depending on condition, age, servicing history and seller pricing. We would prefer to assess the specific piece rather than rely on general listings.

Before every drop goes live, we clearly explain in our YouTube videos and on our website that each category contains a range of values. Some watches will exceed the entry price and others will fall below it. That structure is what allows us to include higher value pieces within the same draw. We aim to be transparent about this so customers can make an informed decision before purchasing.

It’s also fantastic to hear that you were happy with the service and the overall process from start to finish. We work hard behind the scenes to make sure sourcing, communication and delivery all run smoothly, so feedback like this really means a lot.

We love that it’s going straight into your personal collection, that’s what it’s all about.

Thank you again for your support and for being part of the Watch Harbor community.

Not worth the gamble

It’s not worth the gamble I suggest you watch the videos on you tube exposing watch harbour giving away its luxury drops to bloggers . I spent £59 plus del and received a watch you can buy on eBay for £7 plus del. Would defiantly not recommend at all. The other annoying thing is they don’t actually have the watches until all the money is in then they go out and buy them.

We’re really sorry to hear that you feel this way about your experience, and we genuinely appreciate you taking the time to share your concerns.

We do want to address a couple of the points raised.

Firstly, we have never purchased a £7 watch from eBay to use in any of our drops. While we may occasionally source a small number of pieces from various platforms when we spot genuine value (as part of sourcing 200+ watches per month), we do not buy ultra-low-cost items purely to fill boxes.

Secondly, it’s not accurate to say we only buy watches after all the money is in. All watches are sourced and in our possession before the drop goes live. In fact, before every release we publish a YouTube video where we stand in front of the actual watches, show the brands included, and physically demonstrate the quantity available. This is part of our commitment to transparency so customers can see the stock before purchasing.

We clearly showcase all brands prior to launch so people can make an informed decision. The mystery format does involve a range of values, that’s what allows higher-value pieces to be included in the same drop, but we never misrepresent what’s in the mix.

We understand that mystery watches aren’t for everyone, and we’re sorry this one didn’t feel worthwhile to you. We do, however, stand by the transparency of how our drops are run.

I paid £59 for a mystery watch and received a very low-quality item that appears to be available on AliExpress for around £2.79.

The product quality does not reflect the price paid, and the marketing creates an impression of significantly higher value than what is actually delivered.

Consumers should be aware that the item received may be worth far less than the purchase price. I would not have reacted this way if the watch had been of reasonable value (even £30–£40 quality), but receiving something that appears to retail for under £3 is extremely disappointing.

As this was purchased with my credit card and the money is hard-earned, I will be raising this matter with my card provider to explore my options.

Very disappointing experience.”

We’re genuinely sorry to hear that you feel this way about your experience.

We do want to clarify a few important points. Before every drop, we clearly showcase all participating brands in a dedicated YouTube video so customers can see exactly the types of watches that may be included. We believe this makes our process extremely transparent. We have never purchased watches from Alibaba (or similar marketplaces) to include in any of our drops.

As discussed on our call today, a full refund has already been issued to you.

We also clearly state on our website and in our videos that not every watch in a mystery drop will match the full retail value of the box. In order to include high-value pieces such as Rolex and Omega models in the drop, there must also be more affordable watches included. That’s how the model works and how we’re able to offer customers the chance to receive significantly higher-value pieces.

That said, we understand that mystery products aren’t for everyone, and we’re sorry this one didn’t meet your expectations. We appreciate your feedback and wish you all the best moving forward.
