I don’t really do reviews but felt it was appropriate to share my thoughts on such a good experience at Watch the Time.
I had been planning to sell my Rolex Datejust for some time and contacted James via their appraisal form online. I was immediately impressed with a prompt and fair offer for my watch.

Their shop is located in Hatton Garden and easy to get to, just off High Holborn in the city of London.

For watch collectors/enthusiasts like myself, their shop window was like a sweety shop, displaying a collection of beautiful time pieces.

I was buzzed into the showroom by James who was very welcoming and made me feel at ease. Mark the Founder of the business offered me a drink which I thought was also a nice touch.

I unboxed my Rolex for inspection and the process was relatively straightforward. A contract is drawn up, agreed and signed by both parties.
The bank transfer takes 3-5 working days from when Watch the Time receive your watch.
TBH, I was very anxious about leaving my watch with no payment but I should not have worried, these guys provide a high level of customer service and expertise.

A few days later, I contacted James to enquire when he expected the transfer of money would take place. I totally misunderstood the timeframe and loaded myself with a considerable amount of angst over it.
James was very understanding and ensured me everything would be ok.

Next day he contacted me with the bank transfer confirmation and within minutes the money was in my account. No issues.

“Watch the Time” are Purveyors of luxury watches. James was professional, friendly and above all else, reliable.

I would not hesitate to recommend Watch The Time…to buy, sell or trade-in a Rolex, give them a go!

We recently sold a Cartier Ladies Watch to the Watch The Time team. They offered us by far the best price in Hatton Garden. The approach taken to appraise the watch was the most straightforward. They cut to the chase quickly and without unnecessary flannel. The payment gets paid into your bank account so not immediately like others, but worth the short wait. Thank you James + Mark

Made payment for 2 bracelets, shipment didn’t arrive, as of now is holding my payment for 1,5 months. 4 Days ago he wrote me that he received the bracelets back and would pay me, until now still did not pay me. Would suggest to not work with this store, unprofessional and unserious people. Also they don’t respond anymore after receiving payments. Highly suggest to not work with them, most likely a scam.

Brilliant I have used this company and i can only say they were exceptional, friendly with quick communication, (even on bank holidays)

Sold me a watch which turned out to be fake, when i contacted them, they were rude and threatened me, reported this to the police on how i got scammed.

I was made to feel completely at ease when purchasing my watch, I was shown a wide range of watches to choose from and was not pressured into the most expensive option refreshing change! Would one hundred percent recommend.

Mark was great from start to finish. He has by far the best watch collection in Hatton Gardens. He even ordered in a couple more for me to look at. He wasn’t pushy as all and when I finally decided what watch I wanted he sold me a great watch at a great price. Buying an expensive watch can be daunting but he made the whole experience a good one.
