Cold water and changing area
Babies enjoy the class but pool area can be very cold as is the water at the location many weeks making it difficult for the babies to swim and get changed. Staff of eater babies very good and always helpful

Best baby/toddler swimming class around…
Best baby/toddler swimming class around South Dublin. I have tried others but came back to water babies. Instructors are so well trained and a clear curriculum to teach the participants the core skills needed to be safe in the water while having fun. I have a few different teachers and all great.

Stressful experience.
We really wanted to like Waterbabies but it just wasn't for us. It is a rushed, stressful experience. The time in the water is busy with the instructor constantly shouting out the next exercise leaving no time for enjoying the lesson or comforting baby if they were in any way fussy or needing reassurance after the (many) dunkings under the water. Getting changed both before and after is rushed and stressful and you feel like you are on a money making conveyor belt. Sorry, we truly did want to like it but it wasn't a happy experience. We were told we needed to sign up for a second term just as the first started but are not going to continue. Have emailed Waterbabies in advance to ask for a refund and cancellation of the upcoming term.

In relation to underwater swimming, we're all about building little one's water confidence so they can spend a lifetime enjoying the water safely. A key way we do this in our lesson is through teaching little ones how to swim underwater. While we believe this is a crucial part of learning to swim, we are entirely baby led and will never swim a baby underwater if they are sleeping, hiccuping, crying, seem generally resistant or if you are not comfortable to do so.
To ensure our current families receive priority for the upcoming term, we operate a rebooking system. This provides a two-week priority booking window between Weeks 5–7 of your current term, allowing you to secure your place before any remaining spaces are offered to our general waitlist. We hope we've helped to clarify this for you.
As per your email request, we have removed you from classes.
