I found the waterbury shop online and thought the pricing and product to be great value. As other reviewers experienced when it came to making payment the site was unable to take payment. So I went to Trust Pilot and read other peoples reviews of the company. It was closed some years ago and with this information I did not engage with the company any further.I was really surprised when I was emailed by them asking me to complete the purchase.

According Gov.uk Company house, this company was dissolved in 2021! not sure why the website is still available, so be very careful if you are thinking about ordering from this site, a shame as the products look a reasonable price!

As of 4th April 2023, the waterbutt.shop website is still available to browse but all the standard waterbutts are out of stock, which made me suspicous. Although you can still order items that are available from their rustic range, when you get to the payment section, it is not available.

While I understand that many smaller companies are struggling financial & some cease trading, it wouldn't take much to either close the Website or amend the home page to reflect the company is no longer in business.

Do not buy from this site. I paid £169 on June 27th..heard nothing. Kept emailing with no reply.. No telephone no available. In August I contacted my bank who started a dispute.
I received my money back in November.
It never arrived and I think they are a scam!!

Ordered water butt on 6th April. Still hasn't arrived on 4th August. Other than initial order acknowledgement no emails received from the seller and no response to numerous attempts to contact them. No refund received from the company direct. I got a charge back from my credit card company. Others may not be so lucky. The website is still out there so possibly taking orders.

Funds taken and 3 weeks later still no contact from Cusotmer service. Am presuming at this point their operation has ceased..

Delivery took weeks longer than expected but it got it in the end.
Butt is excellent. But the rain trap device is awkward to fit. Specifically the top plastic plate needs to be trimmed with a Stanley knife. This I found difficult as it was brittle and broke, so does not look nice.

Could have done with an anticipated delivery date otherwise alright 👍

I was surprised how long the water butt took to arrive and when I emailed to ask about it I didn’t receive a reply. When the butt arrived it was as expected although it might have been good if the invoice had been posted through the letterbox as it was soaked in the rain.

Had to continually chase delivery information, Information given was not true. it took four weeks to get a delivery date after countless emails.
Very frustrating......
