Excellent system, excellent service

My water tested at 15.7 ppm of iron and 57 ppm of sulfur. We had a dual tank green sand filter system that used potassium permanganate. We still had significant staining and a bad "rotten egg" smell. I changed it to the HydroCare O2 Hydro Deluxe system and immediately the discoloration and smell were gone. I installed the system myself, which took longer than I expected due to having to study the installation process and the parts list. It would be a very easy installation for an experienced installer. My only regret is that I didn't discover this product sooner.

Not as promised!!!!!

I bought this unit for my old basement. Got the best so it would pull out the humidity. I was told by the salesman that the unit would do as I needed done. I explained my basement to him in detail. It does not do the job I needed it to do. Therefore I had to purchase a dehumidifier in the amount of $300.00 plus the $1500.00 spent on the unit. Using the unit alone would be a disaster in my basement. I was so upset about it but had already paid someone to do the installation which was an all day job as an inexperienced installer was sent to install. NEVER again.

Duoplex whole house water purification

I could not be more pleased with this filtration system!!! Had I known, I would have installed it years ago! The difference in water quality is amazing...now my bathtub looks as it it has been filled with bottled water! About a month ago the city had some major issues with water quality and the water in my bathtub was deep yellow/brown. it was horrendous. Because I feared this happening again in future due to the age of most cities infrastructure, I decided to get a filtration system. What was amazing is that with the Duplex I now realize that my water was NEVER truly pure. My bathtub "looked" clear UNTILL I now see how different it is. Now when I fill my tub I see how different. The water is unbelievable. My clothes are now softer when I wash. My hair is softer and nicer. And I can tell the difference in my dishes.

9 ppm was not taken care of -- microniser did not work, called tech support repeatedly.

I loved that this product would take care of 12 ppm soluble iron without the use of chemicals! It has not lived up to that promise -- probably because the microniser did not function properly. I have called the company repeatedly and although I was told they would send me a new microniser, it never came. They said it would be shipped (three times and in 3.5 months) it has never arrived. Although the instructions said the microniser was factory adjusted, the microniser box had a hole in it the size of the septum and a loose septum has bouncing around in the box when it arrived. Without any explanation -- was this an extra or wasn't a septum in place? I did not want to open the microniser up because I was afraid I'd only make matters worse. Initially the water was filtered perfectly, after a while iron was smelled, tasted and rust was seen in the toilet.
The installation instructions of the O2 system were very simple but the sequence of steps were out-of-order. The instructions gave a gentle procedure of filling the media tank, only to blast it with a full force of water in the second to the last step. Being a novice with the installation we didn't catch this mistake until it was too late.
I believe with better customer service this would be a great product but until then ... it hasn't lived up to the standards set by the company.

great service and product

The sales person I dealt with was very helpful, he knew his stuff and knew what I needed. The product as of now seems to be helping but it's only been 3 days since it's been installed so unfair to give it a review on performance. The only downside to this, was the price of the unit. I found it extremely over priced.

Wave review

So far I've been pleased with it, the instructions and assembly real EZ to do. It runs good like it says, We haven't had it , long enough to see how it does with the moisture problem.

They are very service oriented, but slow on actions

We bought and had installed a water purifier which was touted as a drinkable solution to our terrible tasting municipal water. IT helped but still not very good. We contacted their customer service whom put us in touch with their lab and developer in Washington. Initial contact was good with attempted solutions. During the testing we found we will need some special filtering and they were willing to do it.....fast forward three months later, still no solutions and very difficult to contact. Finally after telling them to return my money , we got a call to that they were working on a solution, and the return and money back policy will stay in effect if we work with them for solution. Still waiting , month 4.

very dissapointed with come on sttements that turn out to be untrue !

will pay shipping both ways if the product does not fit your home ! does not fit your installation safety instructions ie 8 foot from a possible zone! Robert reported ! not true --- plus he wanted to use a small window buy using plywood - not an attractive choice - do anything to protect a sale ! well we can stick him with shipping both ways- $ 80.00 you should be embarrassed ? an installer should arrive before the type of product you are selling is even shipped !

Hydrocare for 2 bedroom condo.

Very satisfied with product, all traces of chlorine removed from water. We are getting bottled quality water from the tap. Especially nice to take a shower with filtered water.

GREAT UNIT, DOES WHAT IT'S SUPPOSED TO

I had my Wave Ventilation unit installed last week and I'm extremely happy with the results. The changes in the air quality of my home even in this short amount of time of having it running was almost immediate and continue to improve as it runs. I did a lot of research before purchasing and also after purchasing the unit. It is most definitely NOT a glorified exhaust fan. It has computerized controls and sensors to regulate it and senses the humidity and adjusts accordingly 24/7. It does not produce negative pressure in the house. It helps air to circulate more effectively and gets out harmful gases and humidity that have been in the basement.

Prior to my moving in to my home in middle Tennessee, (newer home, less than 20 years old) there was a strong mustiness in the basement that was also affecting parts of the upstairs. I had the basement walls cleaned and the basement finished into a room which helped but did not remove the odors completely. I also had a HEPA/UV filter connected to the air intake which had been helping a lot, but did still not totally handle the situation.

The air intake for the AC/Heat is in the basement so if the air is not good there, it will affect the whole house. What I can say is that the WAVE unit has been effectively helping the air quality of the whole house. Areas that had a staleness and mustiness are now gone. I feel the unit is helping the other filtration I have installed to work much more efficiently. One side benefit also is that it keeps air circulating even when the A/C is off at night so I don't have to run the A/C fan.

As far as sales and customer service, I found everyone I dealt with to be very helpful. I highly recommend the WAVE Unit!

Unbelievable!!

This experience is one of my worst. These people use advertising and manipulation to convince people that science is worthless. We should just believe them when selling $800 dollar worthless items. XXXX is the sales person and she/he should be ashamed selling something that has no evidence based in science. These systems do absolutely nothing to remove humidity in a house at all. Yet that was the company's claim. When I tried to return the item, which they had offered a money back guarantee, all I got was flak from a person named XXX who made it virtually impossible to return the item.
Every air conditioning specialist I talked to about this Wave Home solutions unit said it was impossible based upon the laws of physics that the unit could do anything that the company claimed. I still want a full and complete refund, plus the $500 dollars that I paid to have a local man that Wave set up install it. This type of business should not go on in the this high tech modern world.

Sold a bill of goods that was not as advertised!

The very beginnig of this order was great, then like most of my experiences with non US companies the customer service and technincal support was a deal breaker. I think it is funny to be asked to rate an install or experience when the system installed is not not running as advertised and the last follow up was a company tech support team member was to call me. I have all emails and phone conversations as well as pictures and drawings I provided to make this go as smooth as possible, but in the end I have a $1600 unit that was supposed to replace my dehumidifier and I still need to run both as the installer had to come back out and "FAKE" my unit out. I want the unit to work like a paid for and it will take another level of tech support to show up and help as I had been asking for!!!!!!!!!!
