A very friendly and knowledgeable team member, Khussh, helped me navigate the new updates/upgrades and clear my system of the older versions. He also gave great insights into a few plugins that I wasn't aware of!
Helpful and Friendly Support
Contrary to a lot of online discourse, Waves have always responded quickly with a friendly attitude to the minor issues I've had.
I went back to using their plugins after they listened to customers who wanted to continue with perpetual licenses.

Great Customer Service!!!!
I had reset my computer and forgot to deactivate wave plugins. Which made me think I lost them and had to rebuy. I got on the chat on their website and immediately got assistance and was able to get my plugins up and downloaded. He explained everything step by step without me having to ask and without making me feel dumb. Great service!!!!
Absolutely scandalous
Absolutely scandalous. I've been a loyal waves customer. I have lots of waves plug-ins. The waves update plan is £240 a year for me. There is not another major plug-in company I use that charges anything at all to update, let alone £240. Had to buy a new computer, and now have to pay £240 to update my Waves plugins just because my operating system updated. I'm sure Waves rake it in from people who have been caught out by the update plan. But they will lose a lot of customers. For reference, UAD Spark is half the price of the Waves update plan for objectively better plug-ins. AVOID Waves.
World-class Customer Service Experience
Waves is my "go-to" plugin platform, but I have had a hard time understanding the process of upgrading my product when new plugins are added. I chatted with a gentleman named Dev. He was excellent in his explanation to help me understand how simple and easy it was to upgrade to V16.

One other comment from today is *very* unhappy with having to keep paying in order to get software which will run on the latest generation(s) of machines. I, too, share this annoyance, but that's a different conversation

Waves are just brilliant. I have bought a lot of stuff recently and always seem to have problems installing and activating, but there's always someone on the end of the chat that sorts out my incompetence quickly and easily! I don't really use many plugins, but what I do have, I have bought from Waves!

I’ve been a loyal Waves user and have spent a significant amount investing in their plugins. Like many in the audio industry, I’ve dedicated years and a lot of money to this craft, often without a big budget because it’s a tough, competitive field. It’s disheartening to see Waves now asking people like us, who have already paid full price for their software, to spend even more just to keep things running on the latest hardware. It feels like they’re taking advantage of dedicated professionals who don’t have endless resources. I really hope Waves considers the impact this has on loyal customers in the future
