I ordered lamp shades and they were way…

I ordered lamp shades and they were way too yellowish and did not match my lamps. online they looked off-white. so I had to return them and it cost me just under 20.00 for the return. amazon has free returns so I will be ordering the next shades from them. Update: Wayfair made things right I appreciate a company that is fair to their customers!

THEY LIE ABOUT their Return policy…

THEY LIE ABOUT their Return policy being easy! They make it impossible. Plus they would not cancel an order I have not received yet. They delivered a broken chair it's been a week and they keep sending emails asking for pictures. I just want to return it.

I contacted wayfair 3x's and was hung…

I contacted wayfair 3x's and was hung up on. It was very strange as I was polite and was just checking on my delivery. I wouldnt order from them again, their customer service is not monitored for quality obviously if you randomly get hung up on 3xs. For my first call they put me on hold 20 minutes to check on order, then said this is wayfair and I said I was waiting for you to check on my order, then click. Crazy stuff!

And although I see below Wayfair said they sent me an email, there is absolutely NO email from Wayfair.

Just don't

Just don't! ordered 3 items, 1 came ok (overpriced item i just ordered get all my shopping done in 1 place, 1 item came damaged to the point it was unusable. Manufacturer just forgot they promised to sent the replacement part and I am still waiting but they cant be reached now. 1 item we=as never really in stock to begin with. They sold it to me and just waited weeks for me to finally ask where it was. Wayfair can't get in touch with them either. It seems with Wayfair you are just buying from 3rd parties with Wayfair acting as the middleman and taking their cut. They have no way of holding their sellers accountable and really don't even seem to try. I regret purchasing anything and will not make that mistake again.

I had the delight of working with a Ms. Jasmine Adams, a customer service rep. She worked tirelessly to help me. I do not think I have ever had such professionalism, dedication and gracefulness in any dealing with a specialist as I did with her. Wayfair has a knowledgeable service team, thus I am worry free in shopping at their site, as I have always been serviced by such genuinely great folks, but Ms. Adams went so far above and over that I had to take this moment to thank her for her tireless efferorts.

Bad and We haven't even opened the boxes yet

We haven't even opened the boxes yet. But the Wayfair experience starts with four 35 lb boxes being left in the middle of the driveway, not anywhere near the front door. There is a covered area by the front door where the boxes could be left. But no, let's leave them right in the middle of the driveway where they might be rained on or run over or anything.

dishonest sales tacktics

Living in a "furniture desert," I’ve relied on Perigold for our new home, ordering eight pieces in three months. While most items arrived on time, my experience with a high-end chandelier has been a complete bait-and-switch.I splurged on an expensive fixture with a promised 4-week delivery. It was due by May 1st, but after taking my payment in full, they suddenly "backordered" it until late September.The most dishonest part? If you go to the website right now, the same chandelier still claims a 4-week delivery window. They are knowingly advertising false lead times to capture sales. Had I known the truth, I would have spent my money elsewhere.Between the deceptive shipping dates and the fact that they don't even allow customers to post honest reviews on their site, I am done. I will not be ordering from Wayfair or Perigold again.

WAYFAIR AND SENIOR CITIZENSHIP

Title: Warning: Wayfair Dispatched a Predatory Assembly Contractor & Left Me Stranded
​Review:
I am writing this to warn other customers—especially seniors—about Wayfair’s home assembly services. I ordered a Modern LED Display Cabinet under Invoice #3270753739 (Order #111-1320358-7378615). The technician Wayfair dispatched, Richard Brown, engaged in predatory, manipulative behavior.
​After assembling the cabinet, he coached me to bypass Wayfair's system and pressured me to cancel my other pre-booked, vetted installations (with Lowe's and my private handyman) so he could do them privately for cash. When I tried to verify his private pricing, he abruptly walked out, leaving my projects in complete disarray.
​Because Wayfair uses untraceable third-party subcontractors, I have no way to contact or review this technician directly. I blame Wayfair entirely for sending an unverified, dishonest individual into my home. Wayfair's support team (Case Escalated May 11, 2026) has yet to refund my $124.99 "Home Service Add-On" or resolve this issue. Wayfair must take immediate responsibility, issue my refund, and stop sending this individual to customer homes.

THEY SUCK!!! BE WARE!!!

THEY SUCK!!!! DON'T BUY FROM THEM! Clicked on an email link about joining their "Rewards Program" just to see what it was. NEVER PLACED AN ORDER FOR IT, but found out by email that somehow an order for the rewards program went through without EVER entering a credit or debit card#. I immediately went to the order and cancelled it, but it said the membership is still good until next year. Aftet speaking with several reps including a manager, they all gave me the same BULLSHIT responce that it cannot be csncelled. I WILL BE CONTAVTING THE NYS ATTORNEY GENERAL, THE CONSUMER FRAUD DEPT, THE BBB And EVERY OTHER SERVICE I CAN FIND AS WELL AS CALLING MY BANK TO STOP THE PAYMENT!!! THIS IS TOTAL BULLSHIT and FRAUDULENT DECEPTIVE MARKETING!!!

I regularly purchase pieces from Wayfair and to see that they have partnered with Angi to help with installations I thought was brilliant, The thing is upon your purchase you also have to purchase your services with Angi additionally. Well I received my drapes from Wayfair on time as always however Angi's service was a different experience. The Pro Tech they assigned to my order called me the day before appt to confirm and touch base. He NEVER showed and I continued to reach out to him just for him to say he doesn't have step stool due to he left it at his mother's. I explained that I not only have a step stool but also a ladder he could use. He then avoided my calls and texts. Finally he said that he has canceled my service. At this point I had to reach out to Angi's services because they never notified me of the cancelation. I told them I needed a refund due to no show. They proceeded to nite their system that I canceled and my refund had to be approved. This is a bad look for Wayfair and I have been a long time customer. If Wayfair does not remove Angi's services I will look other places for my future purchases and I will advocate this to others.

Damaged Goods

the past three orders I have received have been damaged. Two dressers came broken so badly they told me to just throw them away, a vase came shattered and now an entertainment center is significantly damaged on three of the main panels. THIS is the last time I will ever shop here again. Crap products and terrible shipping facility. The only good part is that they refund you and tell you to throw the crap away! Good bye Wayfair.

It is not the company it is the product…

It is not the company it is the product I am not happy with and so hoping maybe I can exchange it but no way of getting this product back to them. Entrance table and is off level. One side has to have some sliders under it to level table out. Unhappy for sure!

Ordered an item 4/3/2026

Ordered an item 4/3/2026. Today is 5/8/2026 and the item never shipped. However, Wayfair refused to refund me until I told them I was going to speak to my state's Attorney General. This is not the first time they've done this, but I was hoping things had changed there. Sadly, they haven't.

Manipulative sales tactics

Manipulative sales tactics. Don't waste your time on Wayfair's website. They track your interest in products & remove the sale price within 24 hours of adding the item to your cart. They are tricking you into choosing an affordable product, then they quickly increase the price, because they know it took you hours to identify the best product for your needs within a price range. Now that the products are out of your price range, Wayfair is banking on you not having the time to start your search again & instead force people out of their budgets, because people don't have the time to start these searches over. Wayfair exhibits disgusting business practices. This is too disrespectful of customer time. People need contractors to install many of Wayfair's products, so it's not possible to purchase most items immediately--we need to find someone to install). Stick to competitors who respect customers' time & money. Wayfair is maniluplating its customers out of both time and money customers didn't intend to spend. Never again will I waste my time on Wayfair's website--Wayfair's size filter doesn't work! You can't search by size or dimensions, because the website populates thousands of products that are larger than your maximum size (both their pre-populated sizes where you click a box and also the filters where you set your own dimensions). Most of Wayfair's filters do not work. The products that work for you are probably buried 20 pages into a list of products that will not fit in your space.

I had a very negative experience with…

I had a very negative experience with Wayfair’s checkout process and customer service.

During checkout using the iPhone web browser, not the Wayfair app, the shipping-selection section displayed all shipping options — including Expedited and Express shipping — as “FREE.” I selected expedited shipping because the option itself was clearly marked “FREE.”

After placing the order, I discovered that Wayfair charged me $49.99 for that shipping selection. In my opinion, an option cannot be represented as “FREE” if selecting it results in a fee. A later order-summary calculation does not change the fact that the shipping option was labeled free at the point of selection.

The “Place Your Order” button appeared directly below the shipping selections on the visible mobile browser screen. The $49.99 charge appeared farther down the page, outside the visible area, after the checkout section had already presented the shipping option as free.

I provided screenshots to Wayfair customer service showing the shipping options marked “FREE.” Customer service refused to directly address the contradiction and instead stated that expedited shipping fees are calculated later in checkout.

That explanation does not resolve the issue. If there is a fee attached to expedited shipping, it should not be labeled “FREE” in the shipping-selection section.

I believe this is a misleading checkout presentation that can reasonably cause customers to select a paid shipping option while believing it is free.

I ordered from Wayfair 4 years ago

I ordered from Wayfair 4 years ago. Their customer service was amazing. I just ordered 2 more items. I returned them. They give a refund of ("store credit.)
I never will order anything again. They have horrible customer service and their products are so cheap looking. Again, I will never, ever order things from them.

I ordered a concrete table from Wayfair…

I ordered a concrete table from Wayfair and was told that it would be delivered to my door. The table weighs 500 pounds. The day before the delivery, i called wayfair and asked for a window of time. I took the entire day off of work. Wayfair told me that the delivery company would call me. They did not. On the day of delivery, i sat by the front door all day and they never showed up. When i went outside, i realized that they had dumped the table in my driveway behind my car in my driveway without contacting me or coming to the door or letting me know. My car was blocked completely. I called wayfair and she said she would call me back. She did not. I had to pay for rideshare to go to two necessary planned events that evening. The next day i ended up having to pay $400.00 for last minute movers to move the table. All told, the table ended up costing me close to 500.00 more than i expected. Customer service will only refund me 100.00 of the money i spent.
