Downstairs Toilet Blockage
I called We Are Drainage yesterday as I had a blockage in our downstairs toilet, a lovely girl on the phone sent Rory and Lloyd for me the same day and diagnosed the issue very quickly for me. They worked quickly to unblock my manhole outside and made sure I understood what was happening the whole time. Thanks again would definitely recommend this company!

In response to the reply from we are drainage posted a day ago.
We ordered the job online via we are drainage website.
First contact from we are drainage was from Rory via a mobile number. He asked us to send the details and photos of the job via his WhatsApp which we did. He then phoned us back and confirmed he has allocated the job to an engineer and that they will contact us to do the job.
NOTE:
1.Rory spoke to us via his mobile number not office line.
2. He never told us that the engineer will be attending with a company uniform nor a branded van.
3. Mode of payment was never discussed, he never verbally stated that they don’t accept cash payments, bank transfers or POS. No written communication was sent whatsoever regarding mode of payment or any of this.
I ordered a job, someone called having received my details off their website, introducing themselves as Rory from we are drainage. Told me someone will attend, never informed us of the terms and conditions.
I then received a call from another person named Alex who said he was sent by Rory to do the job. They already have my home address and details of the job. He did a terrible job (drain was blocked few days later, we never realised sooner as it was raining almost everyday), got paid and never answered the phone when phoned to complain.
We phoned the office, a lady answered and said she is not aware of this and that she only started working with the company few days ago and can’t offer any further assistance.
We phoned Rory again on his mobile , who confirmed he sent someone to us but later said he wasn’t sure he knew who attended as he was dealing with a lot of engineers. He later said we should have known not to allow anyone without a branded van or company uniform do the job . And should not have paid anyone directly, all this was never explained to us.

I believed what happened to us happened to this persons ( Marcus Oster-ritter) who left a review on this platform on 17/11/25 when someone just showed up without uniform or branded car. Poor Marcus couldn’t trust the engineer and reached out to the we are drainage team. Reading the response from them, We are drainage did not dispute this, they did not deny knowing the engineer that went to Marcus house, They only defend and pointed out they communicated with Marcus and never mentioned anything about the engineer that did attend Marcus home. If the man Marcus described showed up in a branded car or uniform, I am sure he will not be worried or questioned where they came from.
Let’s return to our communication with we are drainage team.
We spoke to Rory on 20/01/26 on his mobile phone, we explained what happened . He confirmed he sent someone to my house for the job, he then stated that he will call us back for update in regards to resolving this but he never did. We even phoned him back next day but he did not answer our calls.
In regards to resolution, we are drainage DID NOT make any contact with us , they never offered any free sight assessment, we were never offered any reimbursement nor any form of resolution. I can’t believe they will write all of this when none of it is true. I am sure Rory has our mobile number if truly you want to get in touch.
Finally, we are open to reimbursement if truly you mean your words.

Poor customer service
The quality of the work carried out is good, but my experience was let down by poor customer service.
Following an initial call out we scheduled to have further work carried out a couple of days later. We were initially given a one hour window (9am-10am) for the arrival, however I received a call at 10am from my engineer telling me he would be further two hours as he was attending a personal job that the office didn't know about. This did not work for us as my husband had taken the morning off of work to wait in for the engineer and we found it to be very unprofessional.
The office were helpful and rescheduled us for 9am the following day (Saturday) and offered to take 5% off the bill for the inconvenience which was a solution we were happy with.
As mentioned, we are happy with the work carried out, the engineers did a great job. Unfortunately poor service resumed regarding payment. We were asked to pay at the end of the work, however I was expecting to be sent an invoice showing the final price with the 5% reduction as promised.
They agreed to send the invoice but did not do so until Sunday morning. We then received a phone call three minutes after the invoice was sent, chasing us for payment there and then over the phone (I did not answer the call but received a voicemail). I am glad I missed the call and took the time to look over the invoice rather than being pressured to pay there and then, as the 5% had not been taken off.
When a correct invoice was sent, I then had to request confirmation three times that my money had been received. I did not receive confirmation until the next day.
These guys were great
These guys were great, the came out fast. The engineer Rory was great, he explained everything clearly and was patient with me giving me all my options. Definitely recommend.
Rory went the extra mile
Rory went the extra mile. He fitted me in at short notice and came although it was late in the day. He kept me informed of his estimated arrival time and did a great job. He was polite, personable, knowledgeable and efficient. Pricing was clear and he explained clearly what was wrong and future maintenance needed. Would recommend them to others.
Took a while but very happy
Took a while to get the call out but when that was sorted Dan & Rory arrived bang on time and cracked on straight away. Sorted the problem and told me what might be needed in the future! Great service.
BLOCKED DRAINS SAVIOURS X RORY AND TEAM
Great guys x all three of them who turned up unblocked my drains due to tree root damage on Wednesday x we can now live in our house without worrying about flushing the drains x RORY worked all day under difficult conditions and was joined by two associates x well done all of you John x
Good experience when drain blocked
Our drain was blocked. We Are Drainage answered my phone call (a Saturday afternoon) and arranged for an engineer to call. Rory came early next morning and cleared the drain including tree roots growing through the joints in the clay pipes and recommended that the pipes were lined to prevent further root invasion. I agreed to this and the work was completed the next day.
Rory showed me the various blockages using his phone camera attached to the drain camera probe and explained what had gone wrong with the pipes and how the pipe lining would prevent future problems. An unexpected expense but good to know why the work was necessary.
All staff involved were pleasant, helpful and polite. I was kept updated until the work was done. The site was left clean & tidy. Would definitely recommend.
