I was really excited to see these new pads as they are flushable (I dislike having to use those pad bins in public toilets), bio-degradable and kind to the environment - a game changer! When I fir... See more

We're Fluus, the creators of the world's first fully flushable period pad. We're on a mission to stop harmful chemicals against our skin, microplastics in waterways and permanent waste caused by period products. As well as being fully flushable, Fluus is the first truly microplastic free period pad in the world (we know because we built the world's first microplastic free, high speed manufacturing line). As well as respecting our planet, this means that there's no sweaty plastic against your skin. Made from cellulose plant fibres, Fluus is hypoallergnic and has passed skin and vaginal sensitivity tests, making it perfect for even the most sensitive skin. To make Fluus both absorbent AND flushable, we created our patented technology called Flushtec®. It is a combination of materials and first-of-its-kind manufacturing process which makes Fluus pads naturally absorbent, but they only start breaking down once they're fully submerged in turbulent water. Want to know how it really works? The volume and hydraulic action of the flush tear the pad apart. It breaks down even further as it travels through the drainline. The disintegrated pad arrives at the water treatment centre, having broken down into cellulose plant fibres half the size of an eyelash. Here it can safely pass through the screens where it is treated and converted into biogas and fertiliser, creating a circular product lifecycle. Conventional pads contain 90% plastic and take over 500 years to degrade. We believe companies should take responsibility for the complete lifecycle of the products they create. Flush and forget.

Using these amazing pads for 2 years now, and will continue to use. I feel clean and healthy. Pleased with the product - I sleep well at night knowing is completely biodegradable in minutes.

Fluus don’t care about their customers
Fluus don’t care about their customers, I have been a customer for about a couple years now. I was fairly happy with what I was receiving, they can be a bit scratchy at the sides and they can also peel off bitty into the knickers which is not great. Overall though I was comfortable and happy sticking with these for as long as I did as I knew they were more eco friendly and flushable, they did the job and I was happy with the subscription. They recently stopped sending out my subscription though as they said they were working to improve them, after a few months they sent them out again (saying that my next three orders will be half price) only to cancel my order and my plan. I was confused, I honestly thought they didn’t want to give me what they promised with the 50% off but I queried it and they sorted it out and sent two lots of period towels to me. Then they cancelled my plan again, I believe they want me to resign up so that I will now pay more as they have upped the pricing. I am very disappointed and have now found another company called ‘Here we Flo’.

The worst pads I have used since I…
The worst pads I have used since I started my periods in 1989. Thick, not soft, edges are scratchy, the shape is not designed for any knickers I have ever seen unless you are wearing a string or similar. To even be able to use them you have to make a snip in each of the corners of the wings to allow it to fold round pants. But by far the worse thing is if you are even remotely active they disintegrate inside your trousers. When I went to the loo I saw white stuff all over the inside of my trousers and realise the sides of the pad were breaking down and covering my clothes in fluff.

I like the product because it is flushable
I like the product , but there could be improvements , the reverse of the pad is not sticky enough for clothing and they are sometimes uncomfortable to wear as well because the wings are not wide enough or big enough to stick onto clothing.

It started so well
It started so well. For months, the pads were super sticky, easy to use, convenient and less harmful to the environment. Recently (since the relaunch), they have become less sticky, and the last batch was entirely useless. 20 minutes after use, the pad had already become detached. I tried three more pads over a few hours (none stayed in place) before running out to buy my old brand. So I’ve now unsubscribed. What a shame.

No-brainer switch
I really like the idea behind Fluus.
Reducing plastic waste in any small way possible is always worthwhile, so switching to Fluus was a no-brainer for me... and they delivered.
The pads are as good (or better!) as the brand I used before and they can be flushed which is extremely convenient. The only downside is that once your pads are unused for a couple months, the glue loses it's adhesive strength... but that's not an issue if you manage your subscription plan well :)

Had high hopes for these as flushable
Had high hopes for these as flushable. Sorry to say had an ongoing subscription for a fair while and the sticky part seems to be a problem won’t stay put in underwear such a shame ! Also advised them due to some serious health changes I wished to pause my subscription, they weren’t overly helpful still charged me for my latest deliver even tho I paused my deliver and were not sympathetic to my issue at all . Their idea of customer support was to just finally cancel and not try to help at all

The pads are effective and flush well
The pads are effective and flush well. Feel comfortable against the skin. Would be good to have more sizes. Also they do leave sticky marks on underwear so don’t use them with anything nice!

Great product
Great product! Highly recommended than normal sanitary wear. Just flush Fluus!

Great idea.
I love the idea. However unfortunately for me it did not quite deliver. They are comfortable, and absorbent, but even with different underwear material (in case cotton wasn't "stickable", it just wouldn't stick and therefore not always stay in place.
Love the concept, just needs a little extra time for its execution.

Love them! No Leaks, Flushable and feel like pants not pads!
Love them! Been using the brand since i discovered them last year and every period since had been thrush and irritation free and no nasty leaks even at night as they improved the adhesive on the wings so they stayed in place better. I love that if I’m in my loo or a public one I won’t have to deal with sanitary bins or taking little parcels to the bin every few hours as they flush plus the don’t feel like pads they feel like fresh pants, even overnight or after a gush!

I love Fluus and its mission
I love Fluus and its mission. The product is not perfect at the moment but I will continue to support Fluus. I am hoping they could produce more size options (smaller & larger). Also hoping for an improved application as the glue does not stick well, it's difficult to apply on the underwear. Nonetheless I will continue to use Fluus and Fluus is the only product I am using now anyway since last year because I love that it is more hygienic to dispose of - flushed away, especially when I'm at home where I don't have sanitary bin like we have in the public space.
