WARNING – NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!

Absolutely the worst experience, never ever use this company to book a flight, I am out of pocket the original flight booked and the second last minute flight I needed to book at the airport to actually get home. If you want to use a service like this, use SkyScanner. They cancelled my flight from NZ to Sydney without any message of warning, so when I got to the airport, my husband and little one were on the flight, but all I was told was that mind has been cancelled. No luck calling webjet to get them to fix it and get me on the flight, the most stressful experience with a 3yr old who doesn't understand why we need to wait and not bug daddy on the phone (if you know, you know!). In the end, I had to send them to catch the flight, but even trying to book onto the flight at the airport was impossible as the checkin desk doesn't sell tickets, luckily the Qantas staff felt sorry for me and managed to get another flight booked (at another $600 on top of having already paid for the flight). Literally got to the gate as the flight was boarding, but at least I was on the same flight home, I actually thought I was going to have to stay in Auckland the night. I have called 4 or more times and each time they are very helpful, but no one seems to have any authority to do anything at the call center, so all they do each time is 'escalate' it to the head office, who doesn't even have the decency to respond. I have been waiting for 6months for a response from headoffice, and I get the feeling I am just being fobbed off and they have no intention of giving me a refund at all.

Booked flights to Australia from…

Booked flights to Australia from Ireland in 2019.Flights were cancelled due to pandemic and 3 years on, I am still trying to re coup the 4k. They keep bouncing to the airline (British airways) who keep referring back to Web jet. Customer Service has to be the worst I have ever experienced. You can only deal with them on chat, I am currently waiting 3 hours to get through to someone.

Shocking Travel Company

I booked an Egypt tour with Webjet back in 2019, which was cancelled by them due to Covid. Order No #602727 Booking reference BAU2470069. In September 2020 I contacted Webjet to let them know I was unfit to travel and requested a refund of our deposit of $998.00. Webjet did not get back to me and still have not got back to me even though I have contacted them a number of times. Today i am currently trying to talk to customer support on Messenger and have been left on hold for 3.5hrs. What a dreadful company. Quick to take our money but woe anyone who has to cancel and try to get their deposit back. Looking at all the complaints, Webjet is obviously holding thousands of dollars of their customers money. Does anyone want to join a court case against them.

Give them a miss

Give them a miss. Used them pre covid, tried to use the credits supplied by the airlines and the experience was enough to ensure I will never use them again. Beware. No response to many requests via their so called message service or emails.

Stay well clear of WEBJET. They are just criminals disguised as travel agents.

Like others, we booked and paid (in February 2019) for a trip to Canada to visit the Rockies on the Rocky Mountaineer, do an organised tour and then continue on to Alaska to cruise the inside passage in June 2019. Then Covid 19 hit!
Webjet cancelled our trip and gave us travel vouchers.
Initially we thought OK, Covid will be over soon but as they say, the rest is history.
Not knowing when we will ever get the opportunity to travel O/S again, I’ve requested a full refund but they refuse, only offering vouchers.
So they’ve got my $16,000 and holding onto it like criminals. Sorry Webjet....you don’t know who you’re Messing with!!!!!!

Steer Clear of WebJet

As others have already said do not use webJet to book your Holidays they have a total No Refund Policy - that means if you cancel and you haven't taken out their specific travel insurance then you will lose everything you have paid.
On 10 June 2019 We booked a Webjet Exclusives 21 Day Rockies Tour with Rocky Mountaineer, Alaska Cruise and flights scheduled for August 2020, which we had to cancel in November for business reasons. There is no way that Webjet will refund the $998.00 deposit paid stating their suppliers have charged them 100% cancellation fees.They state that due to confidential contractual agreements with their suppliers they are unable to provide a breakdown of costs incurred.
I would have thought that cancelling 9 months out would be possible. I do wonder how this stands up to the Competition and Fair Trading Act.
My Recommendation is to use another Travel Provider or go direct- avoid WebJet like the plague.

Webjet Exclusives

Webjet Exclusives! I will never travel with you again and hope that others look into your poor quality and lack of professionalism and think again before booking with such a third rate Company. Booked and paid 8 days Singapore, Penang and Phuket cruise package with flights. when the itinerary arrived we only have 7 day package because we have to fly home on the 7 days which was meant to be a free day but we have to leave and lug around our luggage until 11.35 pm because we have to be back in Australia on the 8th day at 9.05 am, we could have flown out on the 8th day and arrived in Australia in the morning of the 9th day and then we could have had our 8 day holiday package we paid for, we paid for a 7th night in the hotel which Webjet Exclusives has kept. all this has happened and we haven't even left for our holiday. Call Webjet Exclusives several-time before booking nothing was said we would have to leave a day early or any flexibility offed and this package has been offed all year. Please think again if you are planning to book a package Webjet Exclusives.

Don't use Webjet Exclusives

I am sending a WARNING to anyone who is thinking about booking a holiday with WEBJET EXCLUSIVES!
DON'T DO IT!! Webjet.com.au
For those who know me well, we have been doing some travel over the last couple of years. This time we decided to go to China, with our travelling partners. They are travelling direct from Sydney on a 10 hour direct flight.
Those leaving from Brisbane are travelling for over 24 hours which takes us into day 2 of our 15 day trip. Our flights take us from Brisbane to Sydney (so why cant we have a 10 hour direct flight from there?), waiting for 2.5 hours, then a 10 hour trip to somewhere else in China, and another 2.5 hour wait and then another 2.5 hour flight to Bejiing and arriving at 1am the next day. Then we still have to get through Customs and then to our accommodation.
I have contacted Webjet who are sorry that I am disappointed! They wont provide me with a refund. Wont change flights as they use Travel Asia as a Partner and they wont do anything either. To the person who booked our flights, what a lazy and thoughtless attitude to just quickly book flights without any thought for the Webjet Customers travelling. 12 people travelling from Brisbane have to travel this way! Brisbane is not a regional airport! why are there no direct flights or at least a more reasonable itinerary.
It is in small print that this may occur but who would think that this would be the case for such a short distance.
Shame on you Webjet Exclusives! I will never travel with you again and hope that others look into your poor quality and lack of professionalism and think again before booking with such a second....no make that third rate Company.

Can't complain about customer service as there was none!

While the Grand India tour content was great , accommodation standard was variable and our leader was exceptional, the lack of Webjet customer service is appalling. Trying to either get a response to emails or to actually talk to a Webjet representative after booking or prior to our departure was mission impossible. I would be reluctant to recommend this company to anyone.

Don't Be Tempted

I haven't even left on my trip and I'm quite dissatisfied with Webjet. Firstly they offer to go now, pay later (not that I wanted to do so) but they very quicky send an account. If you converse with them via the customer service box on their website, the spelling is often atrocious and they still don't seem to understand exactly what you are complaining about. They promise to send all information about the trip 30 days before departure date. I'm still waiting despite two emails. When I asked specifically for information on what clothing to pack, customs (the usual detail supplied with any group tour) they sent back a link to the government Smart Traveller website. Now that's service! I should have remembered you only get what you pay for, so don't be tempted by the cheap prices offered.
