Way too complicated for a simple webmail
The webmail experience is honestly pretty disappointing, especially considering this is coming from a company as established as Dynadot.
The whole process of creating and accessing a mailbox is unnecessarily complicated. When you create a “webmail” from your domain, it feels like you’re creating a separate webmail account rather than simply setting up an email address directly. You’re even asked to choose a username and password that you apparently don’t actually use to access the mailbox. The whole setup is confusing and not clearly explained.
What makes it worse is that you can’t simply go to the webmail website and log in directly. You have to go through the main Dynadot website, log into your Dynadot account, find your domain, open its dashboard, and then locate a specific button to finally access your mailbox. And for some reason, I get logged out of the Dynadot website every single time I visit, which makes the whole process even more frustrating.
The webmail interface itself is fairly simple, but it feels slow and poorly optimized. The settings and features are also badly organized, with options placed in unintuitive locations.
Overall, it feels like the webmail has been made much more complicated than it needs to be. The actual email service may work, but the user experience and overall design are really not great.
