Very disappointing experience

Very disappointing experience. I cancelled my subscription within the allowed cancellation period, fully in accordance with their terms, which clearly state that a refund should be issued in such cases. However, I still have not received my money.
I contacted customer support multiple times (at least three emails), but I have received no response for weeks. This level of customer service is unacceptable.
Due to the lack of communication and failure to process the refund, I cannot recommend this service. If the issue is not resolved, I will proceed with consumer protection complaints and further formal actions.

Worse than I expected

Webnode looked promising at first, and that’s what makes it even more disappointing. It is much worse than I expected! Fine for a basic site, but if you want something a bit more serious, it doesn't help

I recently upgraded to the premium…

I recently upgraded to the premium service and I’m unable to login to my editor just like before. At the login program just says they will send an email with a link but this never happens 🙏🏻
I’m this close to changing to another service provider.

Edit 10.04.2026: still no response from customer service and unable to login. Just sent a new message to customer service….

Thanks to Mariana, I was informed correctly and guided to choose the suitable option.
She also told me how I was being charged by ionos for the same thing. Frankly I had spoken to ionos before and they only cared about making a sale.
Mariana explained all the details, told me the steps, she rang back and adapted my needs to the right package!

Customer support is not answering

Customer support is not answering. I already paid for the domain registration two weeks ago, but the domain still isn’t working. I’ve sent a bunch of emails, and no one is responding.

Been trying to reach support for two…

Been trying to reach support for two full days after they’ve charged me the wrong amount. No one’s answering at the ”premium support” phone line, email, form, facebook or linkedin. Never been through anything similar in my life. Absolutely the worst customer service of all time.

Very poor customer support

We are using a Premium (Standard) plan, but the customer support is effectively not functioning.

We have been waiting weeks for responses to simple questions, including technical and billing-related issues. This is highly concerning for a paid subscription service.

While the editor itself is usable, it is quite limited and only supports basic configurations.

In this form, the service is difficult to rely on, and unfortunately we cannot recommend it to others unless the support significantly improves.

Good start, but limited

Good start, but limited

Webnode is quite easy to use and it’s possible to create a simple website quickly. The templates look clean and the editor is straightforward, so beginners won’t struggle much.

At the same time, customization options are a bit limited. Once you want to change something specific, it can be harder than expected.

I don’t recommend Webnode

The website may be down for several days and you will not receive any help from customer service. If the online store crashes (for reasons beyond your control) over the weekend, no one will fix it. It will probably be fixed after several days or after two weeks if you’re lucky. They promise to respond to messages within 48 hours, but in reality with the customer service response time might be one month. After which it takes a week/two to handle the issue. I do not recommend it if you want to do business with an online store! I have been a customer for three years with several websites and the situation is getting so much worse all the time. Currently, the page loading time of the online store and websites made with Webnode is over a minute. Because of this, you lose customers and sales at the same time.

Lost of webmail accounts

I've had webnode since 2020 or even before. They migrated their host of webmails this year and since March 3rd I can`t access to my emails accounts, 8 days without work emails. It`s terrible. And the worst part is that they don`t even hace a phone for customer attention.

Super slow support

Super slow support, 48h +
A lot of technical problems with my page.
Too often clients complain about my e-shop lagging.
Product variant adding and editing is headache - specially if you have to change prices after some time.
Product groups are missing an option to add different type of delivery or option to offer only 1 out of 3 payment options. Like if i send my product to different country i can't provide all payment methods, like COD cash on delivery in differrent country is impossible.

I could continue but there is no point. I am running 3 different projects on webnode and if icould turn back time, i would chose another provider like Wix or similar, at that time (6 years ago) i would owerpay 50€ per year, but now days prices are similar but technically webnode is far behind...
I've lost money as well during blackouts on my e-shop, when people can't add anything to basket, and all you can do is wait sometimes even 72h their support to answer your question.
