I'm another poor sucker

I'm another poor sucker who got caught up in their lovely looking goods only to not receive what I ordered. I have made regular contact requesting follow up on my refund and constantly get told "thank you for your patience". I have escalated time after time and continued to get further placating emails with zero actual follow up. Always the same lines of "we're looking into your refund".

Order was placed in October 2024 and the last email I sent was ignored

Scam Site

In December of 2024 I ordered a pair of shoes from Webster Douglas. Months later they still had not arrived. I wrote to tell them and they issued me a gift card which I used to purchase the same shoes for a second time. The same thing happened. I decided that I wanted a refund but was told that as the purchase had been made with a gift card, a refund was not possible - even though the gift card was just a replacement for a purchase I had made with my credit card. I went to the web site and chose a Jacket which cost me a few more dollars. The jacket was eventually delivered to the wrong address. I saw a photograph of the delivery online - it was left on the porch of a house. I live in an apartment building. I wrote again to ask for refund and was told this time that I would get it. I have yet to receive it. It is now 1 year and three months since I put my order in and I have yet to receive ANY satisfactory customer service from this site. I am currently under the impression that they have no intention of returning my money and that they are lying to me. Beware!!!

Webster Douglas / Wesley Duke / Dixxon

If you’ve read any of the previous reviews, I’m sure you figured that this is a fraudulent company only scamming you to get your money. I ordered a coat right before Christmas and here we are, end of January with no coat in sight. I see some reviewers have dealt with someone named “Anna” but my representative has been “Kate”. Obviously in quotes, because nothing of this company is real. If you needed any more reason not to buy from this company, just take a look at their track record with the name. In the two months that I’ve dealt with them, their contact information, Instagram page, email have gone from Webster Douglas, Wesley Dixxon, Webster Duke and so forth. They have this W,D pattern going. I guess if they run out of names, they can always use “ Worthless and Dumb”. I’ve already received my money back with the credit card company and reported them to the FTC but thought another review wouldn’t hurt.

SCAMMERS: DO NOT BUY!!!

I thought I was the only person to experience their scamming but I see I’m not. My husband ordered shoes back on 11/16/2024. We were told they were delivered but we have never received them. I called and requested a refund via phone and email. Today is 1/14/2025 and I have yet to get a refund. They keep saying it was issued or they will check with the accounting department but nothing has been refunded.

Totally Fraudulent company …

Same sentiment as alllllll of these other posts. I ordered a coat on Dec 20th. Anna keeps writing me every time I complain to say their website is down. Then magically it was back up and I was offered a 150% discount on my next order, and now the site is "down again". I reported the charge as fraudulent to my CC company and they refunded me.

I placed an order for a men’s coat

I placed an order for a men’s coat. I canceled it about 5 min after I placed the order. I have not received a refund. Just many emails saying their website was down, the refund will hit within a few business days. It’s been over a month! This company is a fraud!! Do not order anything. If they make it right I’ll happily delete this review.

I’m having the same experience as…

I’m having the same experience as others posting here. Ordered a coat in early December. Then received a message that their website was down and this would delay shipping my coat. I don’t see how their website issue is related to shipping products. They offered a 150% gift card if I didn’t cancel my order. I have been getting messages from Ana Rose when I request information on shipping and they always say they’ll let me know when it ships. I also thought it odd they refer to another company Walter Dixxon.

This is a total scam!

Company is a scam --beware has other names

I agree - this company is a scam. rating.
Our order for a jacket was placed on Dec 8th, and we received no tracking number.  There was no way to follow the order on line as their website was "down" for an extended period of time.  We called the customer service number provided twice. Both times the representatives said the item had shipped, however when asked for specifics, i.e. tracking number, vendor used to ship, shipping dates, status of delivery, they stated they did not have access to that information and they would reach out to another department who would send us an email with the information requested.  We never received any information from both of our inquiries.   Finally when the site was back online, we attempted to track the order, however it came back that our order number was not found and as stated earlier we could not enter a tracing number as one was not provided.  We sent another inquiry via email this time, and finally received a response.  They could not provide us with any details on the order, therefore we requested a refund.  The response received back was "a refund has been submitted for review" and "Rest assured, you will be receiving a separate email confirming this within 12-24 hours"  Not surprising, it passed the 12-24 hours and the only email received was asking to rate the support received.  Really ! To date no further email information has been provided on the status on the request for refund. We have placed a dispute with our credit card company

They don't even deserve a star.
They'll never give you a refund, so make sure you never order from them. Fake fake fake... so angry I just want to find them and make them eat their clothes!

I ordered a coat for Christmas for my husband and their site is offline. I’ve gotten nothing but the charge on my card. The charge is not even through Webster Douglas it’s through a company called buccs and now their billing is registered under another company. It’s a scam don’t do it! So sad scamming people out of their Christmas.

Wow, so it’s not just me!

Wow, I thought I was the only one having issues. I ordered over $350 of shoes that I have never received. Just a bunch of emails stating delays, website issues, etc. Every email offered the choice of refund or 150% coupon for my troubles, At first I replied I want my shoes or a refund, a couple more weeks went by and nothing so I contacted customer support and told them to process a refund to my card. I have done this twice, no refund and no shoes. It’s been about 2 months, going to Am Ex to see if they will cancel and refund my card. Also, at the time I placed my order the confirmation came from “Wade Dixxon”, then emails started coming from “Webster Douglas”! Everything looks the same, headers, etc. are the same but their name changed. I didn’t really notice until hunting for the email with my confirmation and total. Also, at the time of my order they were associated with Shopify, so I think I have some recourse there, since they will track orders and such.

This is a scam

This is a scam. Ordered a coat. Got a fedex number that was delivered to some place not my address. Went back to the website to see what happened, and the website was gone. Then searched for the company and found a bunch of people posting about how they had bern scammed the same way. Disputing the transaction with my bank now…

Company is a scam

Company is a scam. Same experience as all of the others today. They gave me a coupon code for 150% of my original order as it was apparently delivered to the wrong house. Probably the same picture as others have seen.

I filed a claim with the BBB and oddly enough, now their website doesn't work.

I'll be contacting my bank as well.

This company is a scam

This company is a scam. Do not buy from them. They say that all items are to be made because they don't stock them and when you try to go back on the website it's not there.
They won't cancel my order, 3 days later, stating their policy is within 12 hours, which is also not listed.
I've filed a claim with my bank and will be contacting the better business bureau too.

You might not get your product, and you likely won’t get a refund anytime soon.

Well that was a lesson learnt. Snapped up a bargain on a shirt a few weeks ago. Product never arrived. In fact the tracking number attributed to the package wasn’t even for my order according to the courier company.
I asked for a refund via email. I was asked if I’d rather a further 50% discount. I said, no, I’d rather my money back. I got an automated email stating it could take up to 10 business days. Those days came and went. I followed with customer service, they said more like 10 to 14 days. Here I am 20 business days later, still no refund.
This company is hot garbage. Avoid like the plague would be my 2 cents.
