Firstly, I would like to say that the overall experience was lovely. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my appointment. My two sisters and I genuinely had a wonderful time choosing my dress, veil, and underskirt together, and it was a special memory that I will always treasure.
After choosing my dress, veil, and the underskirt that was recommended to me, I was asked to wait while everything was packed. At no point was I given a breakdown of the prices for each item. I was only told the final total, which was just under £1,500. I trusted that everything had been explained appropriately and completed the purchase.
When everything was ready, I was presented with two large white boxes. I was told that one contained my wedding dress and the other contained my veil, underskirt, three garment bags/covers, and two hangers. I genuinely thought the bags, hangers, and boxes were included as part of the purchase, especially considering I had spent around £1,500. It never crossed my mind that packaging would be charged separately.
Later, while celebrating with my sisters over lunch, I looked through my receipt and was shocked to discover that every piece of packaging had been charged individually. I felt upset, disappointed, and, unfortunately, taken advantage of. Not because there was a charge, but because it had never been explained to me, and I was never asked whether I wanted to purchase these items.
In my opinion, customers should always be told that garment bags, boxes, and hangers are optional extras with separate charges before they are packed and added to the bill. I would then have been able to make an informed decision. Instead, they were packed automatically, and I naturally assumed they were included with such a significant purchase. If you buy an expensive product, it is reasonable to expect that the packaging needed to protect and transport it comes with it unless clearly stated otherwise.
Because I was so unhappy after discovering these unexpected charges, I returned to the shop the same day to return the three garment bags, two hangers, and one large box, receiving a refund of £75.
What saddens me most is that this completely changed how I felt about what should have been one of the happiest shopping experiences of my life. Until I saw the receipt, I had nothing but positive things to say. Unfortunately, the lack of transparency over these additional charges overshadowed an otherwise wonderful experience.
I hope you will consider reviewing how these optional packaging items are presented to customers. A simple explanation before packing everything, together with asking whether the customer would like to purchase them, would avoid disappointment and ensure customers feel informed rather than surprised after paying.
I hope this feedback is taken in the constructive way it is intended. The staff were kind and the appointment itself was excellent, but greater transparency around additional charges would make the overall experience much better for future brides.
The girls were lovely! All getting stuck in and helping me work out what i did and didn't like about the dress, what went with it and what was worth skipping!
I visited the Edinburgh Ocean Terminal store and was greeted by Katy. From the beginning of my visit she was so helpful and polite and very generous with her time. She sat down with me and asked what I would like and not like in my dress and brought out a few different ones. She saved the best till last and I got something I wouldn’t have looked at myself, but was everything I wanted. My family and I all knew it was ‘the one’ as soon as I tried it on. Thank you so much to Katy for all her help, and huge amount of patience! She made the whole experience enjoyable for us all.
Had a lovely morning at Wed2B in Bromley on Sunday. Got there when the shop opened, was very relaxed no pressure or stress and very quiet. Lia was very welcoming, and helpful. I said yes to my dress while there! Very happy all round.

I had flown over from Northern Ireland to go wedding dress shopping with my family and I went to the Manchester Arndale store with no real idea of what I wanted. I was a bit nervous because I had limited time to find a dress but Ocean put me at ease right away. She listened to my ideas and put me in the one dress that I had seen on their wedding website (Loreto). And although I liked it, we didn't stop there. We tried different styles and silhouettes; nothing was too much trouble. In the end, it was between the Loreto dress and a dress that Ocean selected, but when I tried on her choice with a veil, I just knew it was the one. I felt listened to and supported and I found my dress in my first wedding dress appointment. Thank you so much and I couldn't recommend wed2b (and Ocean!) more.

After a very disappointing experience at another bridal boutique, I honestly thought I would never find “the one.” Walking into WED2B completely changed that.
From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed. Christina was absolutely wonderful. She was kind, patient, warm and incredibly professional. It honestly felt as if we had known each other for years. There was never any pressure, only honest advice, genuine enthusiasm and a real desire to help me find the perfect dress.
When I finally found my dress, it was such an emotional moment that I had tears in my eyes. For the first time, I truly felt like a bride. Christina shared that moment with me, and I will never forget how special she made me feel.
Buying a wedding dress is something every bride hopes to remember with happiness, and thanks to Christina and the whole WED2B team, that is exactly what I will remember.

She asked really good questions to help me figure out my likes and dislikes about the previous 3 dresses before finding the perfect dress only number 4! Exceptional customer service, i went to the Surbiton branch today to pick up my dress. I tried it on Sunday and realised it was the one so went back and collected it today. All the staff were very helpful and informative. My dress is so gorgeous im super pleased with it! Would highly recommend wed2b 😊

We had a fantastic experience at Wed2B in Chelmsford - it was so welcoming and I felt really listened to when I was describing what I thought would be an impossible dress. The fabulous Ella picked a selection for me to try including the perfect dress! - cue tears from all of us!! I can't recommend the branch highly enough - genuinely warm and welcoming and absolutely invested in providing the best possible experience.

I went to Wed2Be in Fleetwood initially. The girls were fabulous, they really listened to me and made me feel like a princess. I bought a dress from them but afterwards changed my mind - I was going to go back to them but Bolton had a smaller size so I went there to try that instead. It was a whole different experience. The staff clearly didn't want us there - she was condescending and rude, which everyone who came with me picked up on. Told me that there was no point trying the dresses on as they were 'basically just the same' (they were a different colour, material, pattern, neckline and waist line). Was quite rough putting the dresses on me and sighed when my Mum asked if I could try a veil. She yanked it out my head as soon as I'd chosen my dress to signal it was time to leave, even though the store wasn't yet closing. I'm so glad I had already had a lovely experience at Fleetwood or else I'd have been SO upset that I was treated like that. Terrible service.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Wed2B, both in-store and afterwards.
I originally emailed customer services to complain about this experience on 27 June, but despite waiting weeks, I have still not received any response. The complete lack of communication has only reinforced my opinion of the company's customer service.
I was recently a bridesmaid for my brother's wedding and we purchased our bridesmaid dresses from the Newcastle store. I usually wear a size 8/10, so I tried on a size 10 in-store and it fit well, with a little room to spare. I specifically asked about the sizing and was told it was true to standard high street sizing. Despite this, the sales assistant strongly recommended that I order a size 12.
I questioned this several times because the size 10 already felt roomy, but the assistant insisted that the dresses used for trying on are stretched and that a sample-size 10 would fit like the size 12 I should order. Although this completely contradicted being told the dresses were "true to size", I trusted the professional advice I was given.
When the dress arrived, it was far too big.
I returned to the store hoping they could help, but instead I was met by the manager, who was immediately dismissive and unsympathetic. Rather than listening to what had happened, she repeatedly told me I had signed the contract and that the decision was mine. I found this incredibly frustrating considering I had followed the advice of their own staff.
She also stated that all dresses are expected to be altered after purchase, something that was never mentioned during the fitting. If customers are expected to budget for alterations regardless, this should be made clear before ordering, especially when staff are actively advising on sizing.
To make matters worse, my mam had phoned the store beforehand and was told they would be happy to measure the dress to check it had been made correctly. When I attended with the dress, this offer was never followed through.
What upset me most wasn't just ending up with the wrong size dress—it was the complete lack of empathy and accountability afterwards. Our family spent thousands of pounds with Wed2B on a wedding dress and multiple bridesmaid dresses, yet once the sale had been made there seemed to be no interest in helping resolve an issue caused by the advice of their own staff.
I have now had to pay additional money to have the dress altered because I trusted the advice I was given. Between the incorrect sizing advice, the dismissive attitude in-store, and the complete lack of response to my complaint, I cannot recommend Wed2B and certainly won't be using them for my own wedding next year

The selection of dresses were beautiful, and they helped me find the perfect gown that made me feel confident and truly like a bride. The whole experience was relaxed, enjoyable, and completely stress-free!
