I love getting my subscription case from the Wee V - six really interesting wines every two months, it's a real voyage of discovery! It also comes with useful tasting notes and cards to record your own thoughts. Highly recommended!

The Wine Subscription is a great way to try new wines you might otherwise avoid, and Duncan does a great job of customising it for you. The service was already great but now includes high quality tasting cards where you can record your assessment if you like. It also includes a members area on their website with more information, content and offers. All-in-all, great value!

I've only just started my wine subscription with Wee Vinoteca, and the customer service is excellent. I have only opened one bottle so far and it was awesome! (Carignan Blanc, Oliver Coste) Looking forward to opening the other five. My only concern is making six bottles of wine last two months!

We are really enjoying our wine subscription. Excellent wines, tailored to our likes as well as some new styles we had not considered before.

Firstly, the shop element: It's brilliant. The selection of wines and price points means that all wallet sizes are covered. The team there will also help you match wines with your mood, food or anything else! I have never had a bad wine recommended by them.

The Bar element: LOVE IT! The cheese and charcuterie boards are lovely with a good mix of cheese and meats. The seats are comfortable and, even when busy, the bar feels intimate and quiet. The team will also run through the menu and, again, offer wines that match your mood or occasion.

It is a lovely place to go no matter what time of the day. Keep up the good work Duncan and team!

The Wee Vinoteca is an absolute gem. Wether ordering online or popping into the shop in Hitchin for some take home bottles and to enjoy a glass or two with some cheese, a visit is always a pleasure. Duncan’s knowledge on wines is second to non and he has never failed to recommend a good bottle no matter what the occasion. I highly recommend The Wee Vinoteca for great wine and brilliant service.

The Wee Vinoteca is everything a local wine shop and bar should be. Interesting wine list that is ever-evolving, backed by wonderful service and knowledge. 10/10

We needed a last minute birthday present for a friend's special birthday and as we live out of the local area, stumbled upon the Wee Vinoteca. The online ordering process was simple and they delivered to Hitchin later on the same day! Amazing!

Wine was reasonably priced too.

Duncan is very knowledgeable and a real treat to talk to. Great selection and quality of amazing wines and a lovely atmosphere.

I don't know what we did in Hitchin before the Wee Vinoteca, absolutely great atmosphere and fabulous wine selection. The place to go for a date night/catching up with a friend or just want to chill with a glass of wine in the afternoon. Highly recommended.

A little gem in Hitchin. Lovely selection of wines. Duncan and Hannah are so welcoming and knowledgeable. Nice spot to pop in for a quiet glass of wine, but also wonderful wine subscriptions!

I cannot recommend The Wee Vinoteca highly enough. From the very first visit Duncan, Hannah and the team made us feel so welcome and at ease with not knowing a lot about wines other than we enjoyed drinking them! It is a wonderful treasure trove of unique and interesting wines with plenty of variety to suit all tastes and the wine flights are a particular favourite of mine because it means you can try a few different wines in one hit. Also great value for money and the service is excellent.

One of our favourite places to go for a drink in Hitchin, always a warm welcome and Duncan and his team are always ready to offer friendly advice. And buying wine by the case is always an adventure, they always have something new and often unexpected to try like Greek rose and North Macedonian red (both excellent). Highly recommended

Duncan and Hannah have created a lovely relaxed environment to enjoy what is always a very nice glass of wine. We recently got married and Duncan delivered some fantastic wines at excellent value to help us celebrate our special day.
