Had a gastric bypass 19.03.22
The service was excellent from start to finish, I was met at the airport and taken to the hotel, a nurse came and did a covid test, the day after I was picked up and driven to the hospital, there I had all my pre-ops. All the nurses were lovely and would help with anything you needed. Surgery was the day after, a little uncomfortable afterwards but was given plenty of pain meds. I was then discharged 2 days later and took back to the hotel were I stayed an extra night, the next day I was picked up and taken to the airport. The whole experience was first class, I have no pain, I am 8 weeks post op and down 4 1/2 stone! Anyone thinking of going for surgery, you can not go wrong with Weightloss Riga & Dr T. The clinic is extremely clean and well organised.

From start to finish the whole process was smooth! Everybody involved in my process was fantastic, and i can't thank you all enough for my new life.

First class experience received from weight loss Riga.
After arrival into Riga airport, picked up and taken to the hotel. Following day picked up and taken into hospital. I underwent a gastric bypass and the care and support received from nurses and surgeon were excellent. Hospital was extremely well maintained and clean.

My experience at Riga was 1st class from start to finish.
Any one that is worried about going abroad to have surgery then Riga is the place. From the first communication from Mim and Sue to the operation is very professional. The hotel was in a nice location surrounded by shops. The hospital was very clean. There was always nurses around to give you what you need and to help. I never had any problems with a language barrier at all. Most spoke very good English. I am a couple of weeks out of surgery and feeling great. The weight is dropping at a nice rate.
I can only say a big thank you to all the staff and surgeons at WLR. Thank you for giving me my life back

Excellent from start to finish, patient coordinators, nurses, surgeon, porters all amazing. I was sleeved Thursday 21/4/22 and feeling amazing. No complications, no problems

A lovely clean hospital. Staff were very professional and organised. Would highly recommend. I was very nervous about going abroad for surgery but the Facebook group put my mind at ease and answered any queries I had and offered great support. Probably better than the uk.

Couldn’t fault this clinic at all so clean the staff were courteous even with the slight language barrier , surgery time was so quick and recover time too a feel great. Iv your unsure to book do it ! I know it’s all very daunting booking surgery let alone thinking of doing further from home but the staff, coordinators and all were so attentive. Thank you so much !!!!

From start to finish everything was so easy to arrange, don’t no why I was worried about going alone as the moment I arrived & when to my collection point there were 2 others & we shared our experience. If your thinking of booking do it!! Do not be tempted by going to turkey or Poland because it’s cheep you will regret. If this surgery is for you RIGA is the only place to do it

Amazing experience that changed my life. Everything went smoothly, I was well looked after and any concerns I’d had before, I needn’t of had. I can’t praise this company enough for their service and compassion.

Absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Everything went so smoothly. The staff and surgeon were lovely , they looked after you so well. Hotel was really nice. Honestly would recommend 100 times over.

Incredibly well looked after from start to finish. Excellent, modern and clean facilities, incredible co-ordinators and faultless communication. I travelled alone but never once did I feel alone. Very thorough pre-op tests, great aftercare. Excellent surgeons and nurses. Highly recommend if you’re looking at weight loss surgery!

I had my gastric bypass surgery in January 2022. I did have some reservations about going abroad for this surgery. But Weightloss Riga were fantastic from my first enquiry call to follow ups once I was back in the UK. They take care of all the necessary arrangements, airport transfers, hotel booking, transfers from hotel to clinic. The pre-op tests are thorough, the clinic is spotlessly clean, the staff friendly and helpful, the hotel was great. There isn’t one thing I could find fault with. If you’re thinking of having weight loss surgery, go for it, go with Weightloss Riga, you will not regret it - and neither will your body. Best decision I have ever made

My experience with WLR was excellent. I have no complaints. I am nurse myself and feel the standard of care was very high.
The nurses, care staff and doctors were all lovely and obviously very good at what they do.
The clinic was spotless and I was very happy with my private en-suite room. Bigger towels, as they are tiny, and comfier pillows may suit other people but I brought my own towel and pillow so no worries for me.
I purchased the video of my operation which was fabulous to watch.

Why didnt i do this years ago! What a great stress free procedure from start to finish. From the initial contact call to the nice hotel and spotless hospital. Everything went along like clockwork leaving me with nothing to worry about!
