I planned my East Coast Tour together with Welcome to Travel and also spent the first week in Sydney with them. I had a wonderful time and the team is really great and always by your side to help. I was very satisfied with the planning and everything was explained in detail and made understandable. They really help you make the tour easy, since everything is booked in advance. Everything went as promised, I am very grateful for this experience and can recommend it to everyone!

Welcome to Travel - Melbourne 25/05 - 01-06

Being slightly older than the average WHV crowd, I was nervous joining this type of group tour but I am so glad I did. Our tour guide Tyna was amazing, her energy and enthusiasm was through the roof.

During the city walks she gave us all the information we needed and historical facts to get started and integrate to the Melbourne lifestyle. She took us to all the great places and made our evenings fun and memorable!

The tip to Phillip island was a highlight, seeing a snippet of the nature this country has to show. Our driver Dave made the road trip a lot of fun and sharing useful knowledge along the way! The one to one meeting with Sarah for job prospects and the welcome to travel resources was extremely useful.

My partner and I did this as a couple 🌈 and we felt absolutely comfortable and included, would recommend to this tour to anyone thinking of coming to Melbourne to work and holiday.

Done the Welcome to Melbourne tour and glad I did. A large portion of that was due to our guide Tyna, who done a fantastic job making us all feel welcome and helping glue us together as a group. The tour is a great way to meet others quickly and introduce you to the city, Tyna had great local knowledge and the activities and experiences helped show us what the city has to offer. The additional 1 to 1 support with bank account/phone sim/future work/travel plans also helped a lot, as it saves the stress of having to navigate that alone. Id definitely recommend welcome to travel Melbourne. Even if you're an experienced traveler. They help with setting up everything and all the activities included are awesome. Our guide Tyna was one of a kind and made our week better than id imagined! I feel comfortable and ready for my next chapter after experiencing the week. Found the company very professional and the office team were really friendly and helpful.

I’ve had an amazing experience with Welcome to Travel and our tour guide, Alex on our welcome to Sydney tour. Everything was well organized and an ease to book. Even though weather was not in our favor for the week, Alex was the most positive and high energy tour guide we could have asked for. We traveled through cold weather and rain all week and Alex made sure to make the best of it for us. He was very informative of the city and all places we visited. Even though we could not do everything on our itinerary due to rain, we were always doing something to make up for it. Elle was also very helpful in planning for my future living and working as a backpacker whilst I am in Australia. Welcome to travel has a wonderful team who show their expertise in adjusting backpackers into the work and travel of Australia and I have been so appreciative of their knowledge and assistance!

I wanted to say a massive thank you to Welcome to travel for an amazing week. Our tour guide Alex was incredible, from having back up plans for when the weather wasn’t cooperating to making us laugh and showing us how beautiful Sydney is. Alex made the whole group comfortable with he’s friendly personality. He’s vast knowledge of backpacking was second to none. The whole week was full of laughs and amazing memories. I also want to say a huge thank you to Haydn for helping me book my itinerary for travelling up the east coast. Everything was so stream line and well thought out. You can really tell that the people at welcome to travel are passionate about helping backpackers get the most out of their travels.

Had a fantastic time on my welcome to Sydney tour. Despite the bad weather Alex made sure we always had something to do even if it was slightly different to originally planned. Met the most wonderful people and did not stop laughing all week. Alex went above and beyond to make sure we were all looked after. He was extremely knowledgeable. A tour that I will always remember. All the staff were incredible in helping me change activities around for my trip when needed and were constantly keeping me updated with any changes. Would recommend the welcome to Sydney tour to anyone looking for a fun filled week and to meet some incredible people. Emily was so friendly in my 1:1 meeting helping me book on to extra activities for my east coast tour.

Booking my east coast flight was very easy. Hannah listened to what I wanted and delivered with no issue at all. The activities scheduled were all great and the hostels were good. I had a great trip thanks to them. They were also just an email away and someone always got back to me within 24 hours max.

The Welcome to Travel tour was great. So helpful to have everything booked already and takes the stress away. Helped me to settle in to Australia so much quicker knowing I had a tour group already. Made my first week so much better than imagined. The guide Tyne was amazing and so much fun. She was part of the group and so helpful if I needed anything. My 1-1 around work and further travel was great and she put my mind and ease about the rest of my travelling. Would recommend doing if you’re unsure about travelling alone.

I’ve just finished the Welcome to Melbourne Tour with Tyna and it was amazing. The tour is worth it just for the Phillip Island trip alone. It was also great for setting up all the admin stuff and super helpful with figuring out what I want to do with my WHV (special shoutout to the 1to1 I had with Tyna). So if you’re coming to Australia for a working holiday, I would highly recommend.

Had a wonderful time on my Welcome to Melbourne tour! It’s a perfect way to start a trip off with meeting some great people, visiting some beautiful places and the 1on1 help is really valuable! Tyna is a gem, couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide, we all had so much fun and feel much more prepared for Aus life. Recommend!
