Bought a bike from Welectric Amsterdam on 27th of September 2024 paid in full upfront and the bike which was in stock as meant to be delivered within 3 weeks. Obviously that never happened. After a month of waiting I canceled the order. 10 MONTHS I am yet to receive the full refund. Despite my continued efforts to get the refund. Formal letters emails and physically going to their store. I even approached the brand owner to caution them of Welectric's behavior and still no response no money.

FRAUDS AND SCAMMERS!! I cancelled my order and they won't pay me back the 2,300 euro I paid up front. They won't even react to the messages I'm sending them! It's been 6 weeks.. Have to make it into a legal case now

I purchased an ebike on January 5th and was initially told there would be a 4-week wait. That timeline stretched to an unbelievable 12 weeks, with zero proactive communication from the team. I had to constantly chase them via phone and email just to get basic updates—an exhausting and frustrating process that wasted my time and energy.
Eventually, I gave up and requested a refund. That took another 4 weeks - which was eventually received after 6 weeks. Throughout the entire experience, the staff were unhelpful and frankly didn’t seem to care. No one offered an alternative bike, no one apologized, and at no point did I feel like a valued customer.
I chose to support a local business instead of buying online, and it ended up costing me not only more money, but also a great deal of stress. Being misled and ignored, especially after making a significant purchase, is simply unacceptable. I would strongly advise others to avoid this company and spare themselves the hassle.
Refuse to repair what they sell -> Don't buy here!
Bought an Electric Scooter (Moped) here a few years back, and they refuse to repair it.
In short I bought a scooter that had an electric key that kept breaking down. To repair this they needed a part that cost about 1/3 of the scooter (absurd amount) which they would order from their partner.
I have now waited over a year, constantly asking them for updates, up untill a month ago when they told me their partner had stopped responding. They now refuse to make any arrangements through other partners to get my scooter fixed.
The result: a scooter of 3400 euros that can't be used, fixed, or sold (back to them). The law is on my side here, but even after sending them legal notices they refuse to cooperate in any way.
So in short: don't buy anything here unless you like waiting, exorbitant costs, frustration, and horrible service.
very bad experience with the service
very bad experience with the service (Amsterdam location). The staff was unprofessional and not qualified (from the reception of the bike to the bike pickup). They will write down whatever they want on the check-up list and they will repair whatever they consider the easiest. they are not qualified to work on Tenways bikes and do not have basic information on how to fix them. As a bonus, I now have more problems with the bike compared to when I was bringing it to service. I know this service has bad reviews but for proximity reasons I used it and now I regret it.

It seems like a scam
It seems like a scam. I ordered a carrier for my Cowboy bike five days ago and have yet to receive any updates. I sent several emails on February 13th and 14th to sales@ and info@ but have received no response.
On February 15th, I called their physical store in Weesp. They promised that someone from the webshop would call me back, but no one has.

You won't get your money back

I sent 3 emails they were unanswered. I have since cancelled my order and over 35 days have passed and the company is avoiding giving my money back. Welectric owe me 1799 euros and won't answer the phone or emails. Avoid this company at all costs.

Welectric Weesp is a perfect shop to buy a Tenways e-bike. Didi understood exactly what I wanted and they managed tot put the bike together (for free), with the requested accessories, within a week. Furthermore she gave me some good advice which helped me very much to make a final choice.
I would recommend this shop, and the Tenways 600 especially, to everyone because of the high quality of the bike with a very reasonable price and the perfect service from the Welectic shop in Weesp.

I had an issue ( I needed a bike with more shock absorption) and it was quickly resolved with creativity.

Welectric on the Rozengracht is a unique store! I came here to test ride the Bird bike. I was well received and the guys were very helpful. I came back a few more times with questions and they had all the patience and helped me with a smile. I am very happy with my bike and I definitely recommend Welectric for buying an electric bicycle.
