An amazing bunch of knowledgeable staff. Everyone is so welcoming and helpful. The talks/advice are brilliant. Non judgemental and made me feel more confident and not alone in this process.

CHILD ASSESSMENT
I cannot fault the service we received from the team who were kind, understanding and welcoming. However if like us you are seeking an assessment for ADHD for a child who you believe to mask and the school do not agree please consider this before booking. Through watching there social media about masking I believed that masking at school and them not agreeing would not be a deciding factor in the outcome of the assessment. However this is not the case, my daughters report states there is evidence of impacting symptoms at home, a QB test and diva scores that support a diagnosis however did not meet the criteria for a diagnosis as this is not evidenced across all environments and is not reflected in information received from school. There was also no mention of consideration or the possibility of masking while at school mentioned in the report. I know everyone’s experience can be different but I just wanted to share ours with parents who may be in the same position.

I was anxious when considering an ADHD assessment after my partner had insisted that I needed to find out what was going on. I really didn’t need to be anxious as the whole experience was much less stressful than I thought it would be. From the administration team that dealt with my initial paperwork to the very professional healthcare team under taking the assessment were fantastic. Answering my never ending questions politely and knowledgeably The follow on care has been superb, finding the most appropriate treatments for me, has been a much easier journey due to the teams positive and caring approach

Our whole journey from start to finish with Makewell has been amazing! I could not fault the staff for how friendly, welcoming and understanding they all are. My son came in for his ADHD assessment and was so nervous the first time he came to Makewell but loved his experience that when we went back a second time for his Autism assessment he was actually excited! Everyone here goes above and beyond to help and keep you updated on everything going on.
I would highly recommend Makewell to anyone needing the services.

Brilliant from start to finish!
The whole team have been so supportive, understanding and caring, helping me with a comprehensive set of blood tests. Nothing has been too much trouble, even when it was difficult for me to have blood taken, there was genuine care and smiles all round. Highly recommend the whole Makewell team and can't rate them highly enough. Thank you so much for your help x

Had an intolerance test. Booked in same day and results back in 3 days. Very comprehensive test and nurse Lyn was very informative, kind and gentle. Will recommend to my friends.

I would highly reccomend makewell. I attended the clinic for an ADHD assessment and it was so detailed and intricate i really felt all bases were covered. I felt listened to and heard and all the staff were so lovely. It didn't feel like a medical clinic at all the setting is so lovely and peaceful and the rooms are really nicely laid out. Ive since started the process of trying adhd medication with them and they give you so much information and i didn't feel silly asking any questions. I'm so glad I was able to have my assessment done with such a genuine and caring team.

Attended Makewell for the horse session, and it was incredible. the staff were welcoming and friendly, they took time to explain horse care and answered all of our questions. We were introduced to Daffyd, Mellow, Moon, Carousel and Lovebug and they were so friendly. It was lovely to watch my 4 year old girl get to stroke them and play with them. All of us left feeling calm, happy and positive. Would definitely recommend!

Booked combination assessment for my son, from the start everyone involved was helpful, understanding and professional. They helped my son feel comfortable throughout the whole process. They looked after us all so well.

We have used Makewell twice for an adhd assessment for both our daughter and son. Our experience has been brilliant both times. Staff were warm, welcoming and lovely. They made us feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the whole process. The Makewell Clinic environment is beautiful and my daughter enjoyed stretching her legs and looking at the horses. She had lots of activities to keep her busy and enjoyed the snacks and drinks. We have also used the Everest Pharmacy for a satellite clinic for our son. This was a much smaller room, but this did not have an effect on the assessment at all. We felt very comfortable and at ease, and our son was given lots of portable activities and games to keep him occupied. Lynsey is a brilliant asset to Makewell and was extremely helpful, informative and made the experience calm and relaxing. She also had great communication with our son and made him feel listened to. I do feel the Makewell Clinic sight is wonderful and worth the 3hr drive, but the Everest Clinic was a great option when travel is limited. And they both gave us valuable face to face assessments where the clinicians could observe our children's behaviour and personality. They both also loved their little fidget gift which was a great personal touch to the assessment. Highly recommend!!

I came to Makewell clinic for an ADHD assessment. I am 9 years old (my mum is writing my review).
I was really scared as i didn't know what was going to happen but i wanted to let other children know that its not scary. At first i saw Tom and went into a room with a computer there was a camera and i had to put a band on my head with a ball on. I had to click when i saw a ball on the computer it wasn't scary but it was boring. Then i went in a really cool room with Lindsey there were lots of toys and fun stuff in there like bean bags a tent and gym balls i had so much fun. Lindsey let me have a drink and gave me biscuits. When i was playing she asked me questions and spoke to my mum. When it was finished i got some sensory toys to take home.

I first saw Jane from Makewell on TikTok and was very impressed with what I
saw and heard. I requested paperwork for a combined ADHD/Autism adult assessment which was sent promptly. Once handed in I quickly received more information to fill in. Once completed I waited a few weeks then was offered an appointment. Whilst at my appointment all members of the Makewell team I encountered were lovely, friendly and put me at ease. I received my diagnosis for both very soon afterwards and am now booked in for a medical appointment to discuss medication. I am so impressed with the level of care shown to me by everyone so far. I thought I was high masking and worried I’d not shown the true extent of my struggles but the staff are so skilled and have clearly seen past that, thank you so much Makewell.

I cannot recommend Makewell highly enough. Finding Jane on the makewell tik tok account has quite literally been life changing.
My 6 year old son was seen for an ADHD assessment and has subsequently been given a diagnosis and started medication.
The whole experience with makewell has been absolutely first class . It was quick , easy to access and the whole team are incredibly professional.
My sons assessment was very thorough. My son was made to feel very comfortable and happy throughout his assessment. We both felt listened to and understood.
My sons life has improved significantly with the help from makewell and I cannot thank them enough.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! I genuinely cannot recommend the Makewell team enough! Every single member of the team was friendly, approachable and professional, but most of all validating! My daughter was waiting on the NHS for her assessments and we were told it would be another two year wait. Due to the decline in her presentation, we made the decision to go privately, and it was the best decision we ever made. The process was so thorough and robust. We were initially concerned about going private, particularly due to the recent Panorama review, but Makewell could not have been further from this- we received a ‘gold standard’ assessment, and went through the same rigorous and thorough process as a NHS one.
My daughter was made to feel so safe and comfortable, she says that this was her favourite appointment ever and has asked to go back and visit the team, as she loved them so much. This is testament to how amazing they all were with her.
We have just received her report and it is so detailed and thorough; a lot of hard work has gone into truly understanding our daughter.
Thank you so much to every member of the team. You are amazing at your jobs- we are so grateful!

I cannot speak highly enough regarding the experience both my son and myself have had with Makewell. We both had our ADHD assessments here and this was after I saw the panorama documentary on TV regards private ADHD assessments from some other companies....not Makewell. I actually did voice my concern and they put my mind at ease instantly. Our assessments were thorough, professional and the clinicians who did the assessments were so considerate and patient and allowed my to tell my story whilst they monitored literally every movement I made and speech patterns etc.
We talked for hours and I felt listened to and understood.
I fully recommend this team with no reservations whatsoever.

I needed vaccinations for work, and i was serching for a convenient place to have this done. Im very glad i chose make well, all the staff i encountered were welcoming and knowledgeable and the service is the best ive received.

Caroline administered the course and was a delight.

I recently visited Makewell MK for vaccinations for an upcoming business trip. The whole process was seamless and the staff some of the friendliest I’ve met in years.
Lynne on reception is a warm first experience both when making an appointment and on arrival.

The medical team are lovely too. There were several queries about my immunisation history but Caroline (nurse) took me through the steps to try and piece the jigsaw together. Her advice was much better than the nurse at my own Drs and far far quicker.

These guys are great and I highly recommend. They even called me back after I accidentally “butt” dialled them 2 days later to check I was ok!
Don’t stress about trying to get an appointment with your Dr - Makewell should be your first choice.

My wife and I got our travel vaccines here. The nurse was very friendly and as one of us is a bit scared of injections she really took her time and made sure we were ok. Would definitely recommend this clinic. Thank you!
