DO NOT INVEST WITH THIS COMPANY
I invested with west water associates January 2022, with £50,000, this was after my Son spent time studying with their subsidiary company George Mortimer, which looking back was a clever way for them to reel people in! I made 2 visits to see them at Canada Square London as like any investor giving such a large sum one needs to be sure.
After a year of leaving my money with this company I had advised 2 friends to look at doing the same thing, both did (how I regret that) one at £60k & one at £40 k. The monthly reports of how "brilliantly" our money was increasing with the "too good to be true" interest should have sounded the alarm bells.
Shortly after all 3 of us had invested, unbeknown to me, Matt Mortimer had shut the firm down, changed the name and moved it to Dubai, where I believe it is still based. One of my friends sounded the alarm to this fact and along with myself then tried to with draw our money along with the "too good to be true" interest. To date neither of us have been paid out. My bank has stepped up to the plate and simply said "YOU HAVE BEEN SCAMMED" luckily for me Lloyds bank paid my entire £50k and are now investigating them. I cannot speak for my other friends?
I reached out to several other investors and we ended up with 13 on a what's ap group all with the same problems. Threats of being sued and in particular Matt Mortimer hiding behind the broker that takes your money called LTI.
Fortunately for me my wife is a lawyer, fortunately for me I have got all my money back but West Water have simply kept MY £50,000 and I've never seen a penny back since 2022.
Everything I have said is the truth and I would love to stand up in a court of law and fight them as this is beyond un-fair.
THE POLICE WONT HELP YOU
THE FCA WONT HELP YOU
Do your home work and do not invest with these people, Google Matt Mortimer, google west water and google the broker LTI, I'd be concerned and suspicious of ANY good reviews you read?
Who am I - I am a 56 year old average bloke who was trying to do the right thing by my family, I'm an engineer by trade and not in the financial world, I would hate this to happen to anyone else, please be careful
Trapped Investment - A Disappointing Experience – Be Cautious Before Investing
Unfortunately, my advice would be to steer clear. I initially invested with West Water several years ago, back when they operated under the name George Mortimer. I knew Alex and Matt personally, and at the time, the returns they offered seemed promising.
I did receive one payout a couple of years back, though it required persistent follow-ups with their broker, London Trading Index.
This review, however, is based on my most recent experience. I requested to withdraw my funds to put towards purchasing a house, but was informed by Matt that it could take 12 to 18 months due to an issue with their liquidity provider. During this period, my funds will earn no interest, and neither West Water nor London Trading Index are offering any form of compensation. Essentially, my money is stuck in limbo, and no one seems to be taking accountability.
I had previously recommended this company to many people, including my father who now has a significant amount invested. I feel genuinely let down. The responses I’ve received so far have been vague and unhelpful, offering no clear timeline for when I’ll get my money back.
In light of this, I strongly advise others to avoid getting involved.

It is advisable to be careful about this company. Many times things doesn't seem as it is. The only platform I really trust is Åß hash llc They are very genuine and also offer instant withdrawal.
Do not invest with this company
Do not invest with this company! you will regret it!
This company is a scam!
I wouldn't have written this review, if it wasn't for some of my friends, who are experiencing extreme difficulties in getting their money back from West Water Associates 6 months after their term ended.
As I did eventually had my funds returned to me.
Briefly about my experience.
I invested with West Water Associates in February 2023.
I'll be brief about my experience as I eventually had my funds returned to me.
I invested funds for 12 months with a guaranteed interest return. You deposit your money into the brokers account that West Water use called London Trading Index (LTI). At the end of the 12 months you can opt to have you funds and interest returned or leave with them for another 12 months.
It took 16 months for all funds to be returned to me and lots of stress.
The terms and conditions signed aren't worth the paper they are printed on. They are in breach of their own terms constantly and seem to make things up as they go along.
My friends have initiated withdrawals in February 2024 and still haven't received their funds as of today.
Matt Mortimer who runs the company has not once ever said sorry to anyone about the delays. His communication is terrible, and when he sends a message its complete jargon and I'm sure he doesn't even understand what he's saying himself.
His lack of remorse and understanding for the fact that, he portrayed this as a fantastic opportunity, takes your money and then, when you express concern or anger it isn't returned on time he acts like you shouldn't even be bothering him.
Dealing with this person is a complete waste of time and energy.
As someone who runs multiple businesses, I can tell you this man has no integrity, no morals and hasn't a clue how to run a business.
He conveniently dissolved West Water associates a few months into my term with them. He didn't notify anyone of this and now the company operates out of Dubai and not London.
So West water Associates borrowed money from people, and now the company is dissolved, rendering the terms signed void and useless.
They have since put a disclaimer on their website disassociating themselves with West Water Associates and now say the website is owned by WWA Management Consultancies LLC.
It states that they aren't regulated by the FCA or that they don't reside in the UK. Unscrupulous people and company.
There is now a warning on the FCA website about them and various other websites.
London Trading Index who are the brokers that West Water use are equally evasive, non apologethic and talk in complete riddles aswell. there is a warning about them too on the FCA website and various other websites.
My friends are owed alot of money.
Just because one of them threatened them with legal action, Matt then said that his withdrawal has now been stopped and my friend is unsure if he will ever get his money back.
There are many more people that we have spoken to in the same situation right now.
They have reported him and his company to the FCA, fraud teams at the banks, and are even speaking to the police about them.
Matt and West Water have no ethics and are not concerned in the impact this has on the innocent people who invested with them. They simply do not care about you, or the money that you invested with them in good faith.

Credit where it is due!!!!!!!
The last few months have been incredibly challenging for me and my family, particularly given the uncertainty surrounding West Water Associates' legitimacy. However, reflecting on the past 4 months, I must acknowledge that the team at West Water has been exceptional, especially considering the numerous concerns they must be facing.
Credit where credit is due - Matt, in particular, has been remarkably sympathetic and transparent regarding the situation. His approach has been a source of reassurance during these difficult times.
It's easy to lose sight of the exceptional service they provide, but I feel compelled to endorse the team's professionalism. As a grateful client, I can only express my sincere thanks for their support and dedication.
While the journey hasn't been easy, West Water Associates has demonstrated a level of commitment and understanding that goes beyond what one might expect under such circumstances. Their ability to maintain high standards of service amidst challenging times is truly commendable.
I wouldn’t trust anyone else
I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my money! Been with them for a couple years now and I can’t fault them at all, couldn’t recommend enough!
Cannot recommend enough!
My experience with West Water Associates since 2022 has been phenomenal. Although a recent withdrawal from one of my investments with WWA took roughly six months to receive, the team was absolutely brilliant at accommodating all my concerns and questions. They provided clear and thorough explanations regarding the authenticity of the delay and the complexity of the situation.
These times, in particular, are very challenging, especially for firms that operate on a referral-only basis and rely heavily on their reputation. Despite this, the team at WWA has been nothing but professional, sympathetic, and proactive in finding solutions to enhance their clients' experiences. After the call I had with the team last week, I can honestly say it is easy to forget the exceptional service they consistently provide.
Initially, I was very concerned that this situation might continue into the future. However, after speaking with the team at WWA, I must say their professionalism in handling these types of situations is a testament to the outstanding service they have provided over the past three years.
Appreciate all the efforts, of all the involved parties despite the currently environment.
Withdrawals
I have been with West Water Associates for 2 years, each year at the end of my term I have requested a partial withdrawal in the thousands, to which I have received on both occasions. Whilst there was a delay to my most recent withdrawal, this was rectified within a month and I continue to use the excellent service provided by WWA.
SCAM Company
No money deposited, been 17month, breach of contract
None of my profits have been returned to me or my original investment.
It's been over 17months now, I'm not the only one, we have a circle of people and if you're facing the same thing then email me and join our case against them and LTI so we can join together and fight them legally so we can receive our money 1 way or another.
Let's show them that we are not alone and we will not just stand there and take their alleged excuses.

BE VERY CAUTIOUS!!!
Amazing how some people here say that they’ve been with west water associates since “early 2022” or even earlier when they didn’t even exist until May 2022. Also amazing how positive reviews magically appear after negative ones.
They also don’t legally exist now in the UK… take a look at the companies house website and see for yourself!
They also aren’t FCA regulated and the FCA have now issued a warning against both West Water Associates and London Trading Index where the money is “invested” and on their website, they are advising people to steer clear and "beware of scams"
This fact alone speaks for itself....

5 Star
I’ve been invested with WWA around 2 years now, the gains I have made on my initial investment have been phenomenal. I receive weekly updates on my account growth and the response time for any queries I’ve had has been excellent. Being fully transparent, the withdrawal times are a small bit long, however Matt advised me of this from the get go, don’t think it’s a major flaw in the grand scheme of things considering the ROI
West Water 2 year review
I have been with West Water since early 2022 and have completed multiple cycles. Even though there was slight delays from the liquidity provider, the team explained the situation to me and I received my payment earlier today. Great service. Great team. Looking forward to the account growing furthermore.
Significant concerns re security of investment
I was introduced to this company via the George mortimer education programme and it didn’t take long for Matt to convince me to invest in the company.
The funds were transferred to London trading index on matt's advice and initially, all seemed to be going well with regular updates on the investment.
However, concerns started to get flagged up after a friend of mine who had also invested had been refused the return of her investment for a number of months after her contract finished.
After some digging we discovered that “WWA” was actually dissolved as a company in 2023 (something which Matt never bothered to tell us) and an offshore shell company which, we understand, is entirely unregulated was set up instead!
We then also discovered that LTI where the funds are invested are also entirely unregulated and based offshore! (The FCA have now issued a warning against LTI on their website!)
I wish that I had never touched this company with a bargepole and I am significantly concerned about whether I or any of my friends who Invested with this company will ever see our money back!!!

Having been investing since 2002 through stockbrokers, these last couple of years I have been looking around for some cash to work much harder for me and with some surprise it was my son Tom Spinks suggested west water associates, who having invested in and withdrawn cash at a rate of return that I had been after I took the plunge and invested a small amount. After four months and with Matt Mortimer as my go to contact I invested more. Very happy with my returns and Matt makes contact through whats app each week which is great. Looking to hold this capital for 3 to five years with wwa and have through them been re- invigorated as an investor
Transparency is key
West Waters has delivered everything they promised when I signed up for my investment. Target profits, weekly reports on how your portfolio is doing and how markets are performing.Advice is a WhatsApp away , very transparent indeed, excelent service indeed.

I was recommended West Water Associates by a colleague with regards to making a safe investment for my future and was immediately comforted by the professionalism and personal approach from Matt who insisted that we have a “face to face” online video chat about what WWA are about and my own requirements and expectations so as to ensure that we both were comfortable with each other moving forward.
I’m a couple of months away from my first year end and have made, on average, 0.66% per week since my initial investment last October.
I’m extremely happy and comfortable with my progress so far and look forward to building my portfolio over the years to come.
Thank you to Matt and the team.
