We Teach League Reviews 

In 4 weeks I climbed from Emerald 4 52% wr to my goal of Masters. Did it in 52W - 19L, 73%wr. The community is great. The support system is amazing. The coaching was top tier. 3 sessions and i hit my goal.

I’m going to be completely honest... When I joined the Mid Lane Academy, it was only because I got a 1-month discount. My plan was to record my two coaching sessions for that month, write down everything from the champion guide, then not renew my membership (basically, squeeze out all the value I could). That was over 3 months ago and I now fully intend to stay on as a full-price-paying member indefinitely.

What I did not expect was the insanely robust community. WTL doesn’t feel like a transaction; it’s not just another hands-off company trying to sell you the promise of improvement. It’s the real deal. Every coach, every mentor, every member are all down-to-Earth people here because they love the game, and are serious about improvement. They make everyone feel welcome regardless of rank or background, and take your individual experience seriously. It’s hard to put in to words, so let me give you two examples:

1st. By my third review session, my coach had correctly identified that the main issues with my gameplay were rooted from a fear of losing. I was going for crazy plays because I always felt an immense pressure to get something done and keep the game in my control (that way, if I won or lost, at least I knew it was solely my fault). Not only did he relate with my internal struggles, he recommended a BOOK “Man’s Search for Meaning” that spoke volumes to myself and my journey. Shout out Coach Ahj, you are the greatest.
2nd. There are a number of community events and tournament where you can play alongside members and mentors in a no-stress environment. Unlike most discord gaming groups, everyone there has a healthy relationship with the game and works and chats together on equal footing, from Bronze to Challenger. This has been probably my favorite part of WTL so far, as the competition is for-fun while allowing you to learn from those much better at the game. I feel like I’ve made genuine friendships, and, most recently, went on to win an ARAM Mayhem tourney with players from all the different academies (let’s go team We H8 Taxes)!

WTL is LEAGUES beyond any other LoL service I have ever tried. I grew 3 divisions within the first month of joining; but more importantly, my love for the game has grown even more. If you are having any doubts, just try it for the first month and I promise you won’t regret what you paid for it. Thank you for everything you do WTL!

Your coaches are informative, friendly, and spicy! I find the ability to mark what I've watched useful, and I love that y'all record us getting coached!

Been in the program for ~6 weeks. There is great knowledge, but you will only learn if you are willing to change yourself. Focus on controlling what you can and not whining (making excuses) about teammates. Every game is a chance to get better, but only if you take it. Since joining, I've climbed from Emerald 4 to Diamond 2.

Extremely professional and punctual individual coaching coupled with a fantastic library of content that would take months to comb through, but to actually climb in soloQ afterwards, you need maximal intensity to remember and apply everything you learned. Not recommended for people who think league is a game best played with friends. For grinders only

The bootcamp coaching was well worth the time and money. I got a great actionable summary at the end that im still using a month later. When i fire up the game i bring up my bullets to work on from Coach Kaiser and lock in.

Spooky really quickly dialed in on what my top issues where and helped me practice them through my three games. Had some unusual and tough games during the bootcamp, but Spooky cut through the variance and got right down to the core issues. Felt very confident leaving the bootcamp that I knew what to work on, and shot up to Gold within a week!

genuinely worth every penny and more! the best place by far to get help improving at league, such a great atmosphere and perfectly run system. they answer ANY question and honestly improve your league skills if you use the tools available. if your serious about climbing in league this place is by far worth it and even if your not but have enough money their champ guides and other stuff members get access to is genuinely sooooo crazy for how cheap it is. the amount of time invested by the creators and behind the scenes is astonishing. great stuff couldn’t recommend more!

Had my first ADC boot camp with The Grinder and really enjoyed the session. I had a lot of fun and learned a lot from him regarding threat assessments, holding key abilities, timing recalls, and playing more patiently. He was extremely knowledgeable and was able to give concrete advice for all of my questions. Really clear explanation of everything and I felt like I got a lot out of it with main learning objectives to focus on for the next couples of weeks/months!

Really enjoyed the session today with DanDan. A very intelligent coach with a super in-depth look at the game as a whole. I look forward to working with him again in the future. My quality of games wasn't that great, however, we were still able to find good learning areas for me. I appreciate you staying overtime a little bit to talk through some thing as well. I hope to continue to improve on these things and come back to the next camp better than this time. I would 100% recommend the experience to anybody looking to improve, as I feel it drastically increases the QoL of learning league. 10/10

⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ for coach Grinder. My first bootcamp, and one of my first coaching sessions overall. He was able to make concepts and my learning objectives quite simple and digestible, with the way he explains them. Very much recommend my man for coaching. Bonus super funny guy we had a blast hanging out. Again, thank to everyone who has assisted me. 🙂

Yarg locked in on the Heimer support and won us the game after great struggle and taught me a lesson that no League coaching session could teach. Patience and forgiveness.

Great coaches and the best value for money you can get in league

Huge fan of the bootcamp format!!! It's really helpful to get a 3 hour high intensity session. I was assigned to Coach Foj and we really got into the details with yone top.

The bootcamp format allowed us to find recurring issues and patterns in my current level of play and just see what a 3 block is looking like without any cherry picking.

I got extremely clear takeaways and learning objectives and I'm really stoked to start working on them in my blocks and reviews moving forward. I am really thrilled with the whole experience!

My goat praedyth made my first bootcamp a blast. I went in disappointed with the performance I was putting in but came out happy with all the things praedyth was able to pull out from what felt like underwhelming games. I never expected how much more the coach can pull out from watching me live compared to the coaching sessions I pick out based on the issues I think I’m having. Also, it was exciting getting to watch other coaches and academies get their learnings too.

Gunkrab is not only a friendly face but a very intriguing coach to watch at work. By listening to how he spoke with players at elos such as plat and gold, and then being able to switch to gm games and provide tailored advice to both people is rather impressive and shows a dedication to being specific and actionable with his advice.

This is my first bootcamp and ive already taken home a laundry list of stuff that I need to actively work on in order to finally hit challenger. I can't wait to start applying these new learning goals that I COULDNT identify myself, and see myself become better. The advice given was practical and even tailored to my main champion veigar. Thanks guys for creating an affordable and enjoyable space for people to learn the game and see themselves get better in ways they couldn't find on their own. Special thanks to Curtis and Nathan for the bbc podcast and giving me a productive tool for growth that I can listen to while at work, I'm excited to return for the next one!

It's worth the money to buy into this program if you're serious about improving in League. For the money, you get access to coaching, guides, frameworks, community, and tons of other benefits to help you improve and climb quicker than you could on your own. There are very few industries/hobbies where you can have top practitioners help you get better, and tell you what you do not know, that you do not know.

The bootcamp is a MUST if you're stuck in solo queue. Regular coaching is great but the bootcamp is a real game changer since the coaches get to see a realistic 3 block of your level of play. There's no hiding behind cherry picked VODS. You are forced to confront the reality of your level of play and get into the details! 10/10

I was scared that I will get low value in terms of learning VODs. But I got awful 0-3 block where I solo lost 2 games and last one was just poor quality because of unwinnable matchup. @gunkrab gave really good tips on how to fix those mistakes that I make over and over again. Amazing experience 100% worth it. That vibe is something to sit with a coach and get tips for the next game. I enjoyed this idea and I will definitely comeback!
