Bossy, Rude, and Unhelpful

I had a very off-putting experience with this company when trying to get a quote for my car. The salesman I dealt with, Max Webster, was incredibly rude from the beginning. He repeatedly asked the same question even after I explained multiple times that I didn’t have an exact date for when the car would be ready to sell. I gave him a clear timeframe of one to two weeks, but he kept pushing the issue in a bossy, argumentative tone, insisting that the difference between one week and two would affect the quote.

For contrast, another company I contacted just 10 minutes prior provided a quote instantly, professionally, and with zero issues — which really highlighted how poor this experience was.

His attitude made the entire interaction uncomfortable. When I said I would call back later to book something in(because his behaviour made me not want to proceed immediately over the phone)he just said “ok” and hung up on me. No courtesy, no professionalism.

The experience was so unpleasant that I’ve actually blocked his number. Based on this interaction alone, I would strongly recommend avoiding dealing with Max or this company altogether.

Osborne Pak great service

I dealt with Jason at Osborne Park and he was a real gentleman, treated me with respect and gave me an additional week to keep the car I was selling until my new car became available. He also gave me a reasonable price for my old vehicle. Great service highly recommended

Fast efficient and fair service.

I got an estimate from the website with a price range of around $22k for my vehicle mid afternoon on Thursday. I received a phone call later on Thursday afternoon, reminding me that the website estimate is based on the average price range for my vehicle, and I booked an appointment to see Connor in the Welshpool branch at 9:30am on Friday (ie, the next day).

I met Connor, who was ready to see me on-time as planned, and he had a look around the car to verify its condition. Connor was very courteous throughout, he explained the process and answered the couple of questions I had.

Connor then made me an offer for my vehicle, which was $22k in line with the website estimate, which I accepted.

I was out of there within 15 minutes with the signed Contract, having received a fair market value for my car.

I read reviews online about people being offered less for the car than the website estimate, and even accusing this business of being a con or a rip off. In my case, I was honest with myself about the value of my car to a business that is required to make a profit from selling cars (it is, after all, not a charity) and the value of Connor's connections in the car industry. My car was valued very fairly and I received a very courteous and professional service.

I will have no hesitation recommending this business to anyone who wants to get rid of their car quickly but doesn't want the hassle of advertising it (and entertaining all the tire-kickers who want to low ball you and tell you all the things that make your car worth less than you are selling it for).

What a waste of my time

What a waste of my time, did the online valuation that said the car was worth $14500, made an appointment, drove 30 minutes to get there, spent 30 minutes waiting while he looked over the car, he said the car was in very good condition but he would only pay between $7000 and $8000. Why have an online valuation system if it is nowhere near what they are actually prepared to pay for the car.

All they did was Lie Lie Lie!! WASTE OF TIME!!!

I get a quote online from "We Want Your Wheels" between $7,230 - $7,500 for my 2008 Dodge Avenger with 130,000 kms. All of my car's information was given before the quote was emailed to me with the VALUATION price of $7,230 - $7,500. Note: Their add says They asked me to bring in it and a guy checks the body, interior and engine and says to me that the car looks good and runs well. The guy asked me for what i wanted and showed me other vehicles of its type for a price and it seemed that the cars were being sold on average between $8,000-$12,000. i get a phone call a few days later telling me that the market is bad and that it's difficult for them to buy it but at $4000 they could. i said the VALUATION price said more but he replied with oh that's just an indication. I said it says VALUATION not indication. He was then speechless and said well we can't go by that (Even though that's what their quote was)
Very disgusting in their way of dealing with people and cheating their way to being rich

1) CarsGuide.com.au shows a valuation of $8,250 – 11,660 for my car

2) This is their Valuation from my email:

Waste of time

High on line quote to lure you in and no interest or knowledge about the car when I brought it to them in person. Waste of time.

Don't trust the online valuation they give you!!!

We have a 2009 Hyundai Getz, 3 door manual in reasonable condition and with 97000km on the clock.
Moving interstate and, as hubby can get a car through work, the Getz is now surplus to requirements.
Looking to sell to a dealer, rather than deal with the hassle of selling privately, so looked at the We Want Your Wheels website (after hearing their radio advertising) and was quoted $2850 - not great, but we would've been happy enough with this price.
So we took the Getz to We Want Your Wheels - where we were told they don't actually want our wheels.
What they do is ring round their contacts to see if anyone is interested in our wheels. If one of their contacts wants our wheels and we agree a price, then the contact pays us for the car. The contact also pays
We Want Your Wheels a "Finders Fee".
Doug said that he'd try to get the best price he could for the Getz, before asking if we would be happy accepting $2000 - significantly lower than the quote given on their website (which Doug said is a Red Book estimate)!
Needless to say, we politely declined Doug's offer and drove away!
Sorry, but we can't recommend We Want Your Wheels!!!!

Couldn't belive it, was offered 5k for a 2 year old dual cab 4x4???

Was shocked when they're online sited stated nearly triple the price that they offered to us after seeing the car and that it is in near perfect condition with only 16,000kms?
Have been offered a lot higher from other car yards so definitely do not offer the best price like stated.
Quite disappointed honestly and a waste of time taking the car up there for a '"real" quote. Don't waste your time.

Dont Waste Your Time!

1. Online price guide gets your hopes up.
2. Follow up call misleads you even more.
3. Assign time and money to take the car to them.
4. Be let down big time when they tell you multiple reasons why the market is bad and your car is only worth a fraction of the price guide.
5. Sell it to someone else for much more.
The main aim of these guys seems to be to aquire cars for other dealers at knock down prices to maximise profit for them and minimise what you are paid. This is not indicated to you upfront, you need to be desperate to use this service.

Poor Service, Poor Price

Wasting time is what these guys are good at. Trying to get a price that suits them, not you, is We Want Your Wheels objective. They will tell you anything to get you in and then the dodgy used car salesman tactics start. The owner is rude, unprofessional, shows little experience and lacks integrity. I got 70% more for my car at another dealer the same day.
