i had a random 2010 bottle of 15 year old malt whiskey which had not been opened ... and i was decluttering ...so i thought i would take it ( actually send it to auction ) ... so i found WOA and requested a valuation ... which showed it had some value ( not a mega amount but a pleasing amount ) ; so i wrapped in bubble rap ... packed iit n a box and WOA arranged for DHL to pick it up which worked well ... the auction went well - 100 + bids were received and it sold for an amount +37% higher than the valuation and for the most that a bottle of that type / age / year had previosly been sold for ... after WOA's costs i promptly received ~ 90%of the bid amount into my bank account ... as a novice in this field and a one off experience i have no complaints

got some bargains in auction just after Xmas (Macallan, Strathisla, Deanston). I opted to collect the items from the lock up in Blackpool. Friendly staff and items were in good condition as described. will definitely use again

Clearing out our late father's cabinet I found a very old bottle of whisky. A mystery. He never drank whisky his whole life. It had been there decades but would be wasted on me. A free valuation confirmed that it dated back to the 70's and was well worth auctioning. The process went very smoothly and the proceeds arrived in my account as promised. Dad would have been chuffed!

I decided to sell my whisky collection as my taste buds took a battering with covid and haven't returned. I found the whole selling process very easy to follow and on the occasions I was a bit daunted the staff I spoke to on the phone were excellent. I brought packaging and had DHL collection which was very efficient,and payment was very prompt

Very comprehensive auctions with a huge range of independent and distillery bottled whiskies each month. The purchase process is straightforward, with the chance to set an auto-bid at your price limit and the bottle condition descriptions are very accurate. Bottles always ready for collection within a couple of days of payment being made, and the guys & girls running the business are always pleasant, friendly and helpful should you have any questions.

Would have no hesitation in recommending this company if you are looking to sell whisky. Initially I was very apprehensive about selling bottles ofiwhisky which we had particularly after reading online of bad experiences with a number of different companies. After contacting Wayne on the phone and going through the procedure they operate it reassured me and subsequently I auctioned 6 bottles of whisky through the auction and was impressed with the smoothness and professionalism of the entire process and the promptness of payment. Everything was explained to me and the various options in selling whisky and the knowledge that Wayne and his son Harrison have is incredible.
