BUYER BEWARE WHISKEY FLAVOR/FLAVOUR

It is unfortunate I have to give it 1 star. This company and "Rapid Freighters" are a scam. I purchased a bottle of whiskey from them and they required I send a Zelle payment. (1st red flag). Then they asked for "proof" of the Zelle Payment. (2nd red flag). Then I had to contact them for a tracking number which came in a very generic form with some made up number. There was no link to track and it clearly was designed by some 5 year old trying to show some sort of legitimacy to their scam. After pummeling WHISKEY FLAVOR and RAPID FREIGHTORS with emails, they responded saying my shipment was on hold until I bought insurance for the item.
You got me once but not twice. BEWARE!!!!

I order some tequila for Christmas for…

I order some tequila for Christmas for some relatives. Every four or five hours they would bug me asking for payment. . Once they got their payment, I never heard back from them again. I have written and called more than 5 times. I did get a confirmation number for shipping , but it’s fake. Rapid freight was the supposedly shipping company. When you actually called their office they said the tracking number is bogus. Not the fake number phone given on email from Whisky flavor

Stuck me for over $300

Stuck me for over $300. Don't trust them. Misunderstanding on how to send money via PayPal. Their crooks in my opinion.

Do not do business with these people

Do not do business with these people. They work with a "shipper" who tries to extort $200 out of you before they will shop the product. Then WhiskeyFlavors ghosts you and you lose all your money. They don't evem have a real business account on PayPal so there's no recourse. Very sad.

Perfect gift for Dad

It was the perfect gift for my Dad, who in his 70s has experienced much and specifically traveled to Scotland for distillery tours. He was truly excited to get his box of samples every month and it even introduced him to a couple brands that he now purchases.

My membership was all I expected

My membership was all I expected. I may join again in the future. I’m not able to drink at the present due to some medical issues but should be back to enjoying a fine drink again shortly

Delivered to the wrong state with the wrong name too. Have no idea how it happened and shipped over a month from when i ordered.

The shipping was as expensive as the Whisky which was overpriced. Would NOT recommend for anyone in the U.S.

Our whisky subscriptions are shipped from Lisbon, Portugal and we aim to provide the best quality service possible to all our customers. At this point we have a good deal with our shipping company, since we can deliver worldwide and always trying to preserve the content of the box, which can be sensitive as it can break.

We are aware that the shipping cost is high, but our customers should be aware that our box is a bit heavier than one should expect due to the presentation of our whisky tasting subscription. As it is a premium high quality wooden box, this alone makes the shipping cost a bit higher but of course we still have the wooden box content: at least 4 original branded miniatures and some other stuff as mentioned on our website. This is why the shipping is a bit high, we recognize it, but so far it is the best we can in terms of price-quality relationship.

Nevertheless, the shipping costs are presented beforehand on the checkout page so this shouldn’t come as a surprise after completing the purchase.

Regarding the expressions that were shipped to you on your subscription box, please be aware that we aim to present a varied, miscellaneous offer and sometimes may not be everyone’s favourites whiskies. But then again, this is a subscription tasting box so we present a selection of whiskies to be tasted.

We receive several feedbacks each month regarding our product and we are glad that we receive mostly very very positive feedback from our worldwide customers.

But be that as it may, we will consider your review to improve our service obviously.
